Zack Nicholson is more than just a handsome face. He is a liar. He is a thief. He is the bane of my existence. Zack is my college ex’s best friend and we only agreed on one thing – we both hated each other. The years haven’t changed my dislike, or attraction, of my nemesis, who is now vying for the same position I’m working so hard for.I’m completely screwed.Blake Holliday is gorgeous. She is a … screwed.
Blake Holliday is gorgeous.
She is a nerd.
She is rude.
She knows how to push every one of my buttons.
Blake didn’t give me the time of day from the moment I met her – and that pissed me off.
I haven’t seen her for six years, and when she strolls into that conference room with a chip on her shoulder I want to do nothing more than knock it down. Except my desire for her is stronger than ever.
I’m completely screwed.

Scr*w You was off the charts!
This is by far my favorite book of Renee to date! Well done girl!! 🙂
Blake & Zack have some fierce chemistry. Phew you’ll need a fan while reading their story. The two of them work together on a project -they work so well together.
If you like to read a great storyline with some steamy scenes then go one-click this book!
“I can like to hate you.”
“I didn’t say I don’t regret anything, but I wouldn’t change them. Every moment has made me who I am, taught me invaluable lessons.”
First, let me start by saying the only reason I gave 4 stars was because I wish this book was longer!!! I wanted more of Blake and Zack! After catching her ex cheating and realizing what type of a guy he really is, Blake leaves after college to start her life over. But when family beckons her back home, her past meets her head on. I loved both characters together and separate! Blake is such a strong and independent woman going after her dreams no matter what and no matter who tries to stand in her way and Zack who is supposed to be this playboy, mean guy turns out to be the complete opposite. Like I said, I wish it lasted longer and we got to spend more time with them!
Amazing book started and finished in a day. Blake and Zack had me hooked they had me laughing with the bickering and on the edge of me seat with the romance that bloomed. One of my new favorite authors
This is my first read from Renee Harless, and I loved it. This story had me at the title alone!
The moment I started reading the first page, I simply could not put this book down and read it in one sitting. I loved the characters of Zach and Blake. Their ‘love to hate one another’ relationship was hilarious but at the same time they had a scorching chemistry that was off the charts. I adored Blake’s big beautiful heart, her independence and steadfast determination. She was strong and resilient but loved wholeheartedly. With Zach, first impressions are deceptive and not as they seem! He was a true gentleman and was kindhearted and respectful.
This hot, office romance was such a great read. I loved the steamy romance and the competitive plot. It’s a very believable storyline and has well-written characters who are so likeable and cannot help but love. I am looking forward to reading more from Renee Harless!
Don’t miss grabbing this book!
Wow!!! This book has got to be this authors hottest book yet!!
Zach and Blake knew each other back in collage but despised each other though.
Blake was dating Zach’s best friend, David who I a total douche btw.
They broke up and 6 years later Blake and Zach are competing for a job. Blake really needs the job to help with her disabled father, Zach needs it so he can be promoted.
I absolutely love this book and these characters!!!
I highly recommend this!!!
What could Blake possibly do after she had sent her boyfriend a sexy picture which was then shared with his entire fraternity?! She had studied her heart out for the rest of the semester, graduated and never looked back, but the humiliation and embarrassment was hard to forget. Her wish was to never see her ex-boyfriend or any of his fraternity brothers ever again, but wishes don’t always come true.
Fast forward six years and Blake had started her own marketing firm with her best friend, Sofie. She had landed an interview for a job with a very successful coffee company. Her presentation was topnotch, she was wearing her power suit, her hair was tasteful and professional, and she was ready to take on the world. The only bump in the road was that she would be seeing her ex-boyfriend who was the grandson of the owner. When she glanced around the conference room she was shocked to see Zack, her college mentor and David’s fraternity brother. What nightmare had she walked into? Blake really wanted to work for this client and she was determined to ignore the elephant in the room.
How will Blake react when she is forced to work closely with Zach?
How does Zach convince Blake that he had always been the good guy even when she thought he was the enemy?
Renee Harless always writes from her heart and creates characters that we can relate to, cheer for and fall in love with. Blake never let her past interfere with her goal to be successful in her field. She is a strong woman who is a good friend, a devoted daughter and a hard worker. Zach had his work cut out for him with Blake but love is never easy and always worth waiting for.
We’ve all heard the saying that there’s a thin line between love and hate. Zach & Blake walk this line like it’s a tightrope and they’re circus performers, each needing to outshine and win the crowd over with their abilities.
Their competition stared their freshman year in college when they were assigned as partners in their introduction to marketing class.
Zach has always loved to push Blake’s buttons to piss her off. It’s almost like they’re 5-year olds on the playground & he is pulling her pigtails.
Blake has never forgotten nor forgiven Zach for what happened in college the night she broke up with his best friend David.
Six years after graduation they are both bidding on a very lucrative 10-year marketing campaign for Fleming Coffee that is looking to go international. The rub is that this company is owned by David’s grandfather. With David being groomed to take over the company he has been giving the task of awarding this contract. The sadistic a-hole that David is, he thinks of ways to make Blake & Zach work together for two months, knowing their mutual hatred of each other, all the while having his own agenda playing out in the background.
Surprisingly Blake & Zach work remarkably well together, they highlight each other’s abilities, the problem is that their chemistry threatens to make them both forget their hatred of each other. This is a love story after all, so that chemistry combusts and they find they’ve not only fallen in love with each other, but they want to leave the past where it belongs – in the past. That is until David’s manipulating, sadistic self, drops a bombshell that brings back all of Blake’s memories of how her life was almost ruined in college. She can’t believe that she let her guard down with Zach, how did she not see he was working with his best friend the whole time to seduce her, use her for her ideas and make her feel cheap.
The question is … Is Blake being blinded by her rage and not seeing the whole picture or did David blindside both Blake & Zach at the same time. If it’s the later will their egos, hurt, humiliation and anger keep them from being truly happy with each other?
I knew this would be something special, Renee is a fairly new author to me and ive loved everything so far.
Blake and zack had me gripped, I sat and read this from start to finish, I couldn’t put it down.
I can’t wait for the paperback
Loved this book.
Zack and Blake are at odds for 4years of college.
But 6years later they meet again to bid for a project.
I couldn’t put this book down from start to finish.
Well done on another fantastic book Renee.
Book Review: Scr*w You
Author: Renee Harless
FIVE STARS
This story will pull on your heart strings. With her college boyfriend for 4 years, Blake discovers that David is not the person she thought he was. Even more, Zack, his best friend is just as bad as David, or so Blake is made to believe.
After college Blake got the job of her dreams, she is now returning home to help her father after a work accident has left him with little mobility and needing 24/7 care. Starting her own business is her plan and she is going after a huge contract but there is of course a catch.
David, her ex is in line to take over the family business and his college best friend is also pitching to try to get the marketing account.
Does Blake have what it takes to win this account? It would solve all of her financial issues if she could win this. But will Zack throw a curve ball into all of her plans? Are Zack and David teaming up to make her life miserable again? Can she ever trust them? Will Zack be able to convince Blake that he is not the man she ever thought he was.
Great book, quick read. I read this in one evening. Couldn’t put it down.

One stupid moment in college leads to years of hatred between Blake and her ex as well as his best friend Zach. Flash forward six years, in true romance style, it is Zach and Blake that end up in a competition for the marketing contract for the ex’s family company. Working against each other leads them down a path of having to work together, which also leads numerous sparks between the enemies. But can the past be overturned? Can the one person you hated the most be the one you fall in love with? Renee Harless created wonderful characters and had a storyline that had me laughing out loud as well as yelling at my kindle. This was an enemies to lovers novel that I highly recommend.
This is an enemies to lovers troupe by Renee Harless. Blake decided to take a nude selfie and sent it to her boyfriend David to spice things up, only to find out that the photo was sent to everyone in his frat house and his bff Zack is to blame. Flash forward 6 years. Zack and Blake are vying for the same account at David’s family’s business where they are forced to work together. Sparks fly, can love overcome hate? Can Blake and Zack learn to trust each other? I read this book in one sitting, two different times it was that good. The storyline grabs you from the beginning and has you not only rooting for the couple, but yelling at them too. Renee Harless is a relatively new author to me and I cannot wait to read more stories by her.
Renee Harless has done it again. Scr*w You was so good. I liked the banter between Blake and Zach. They were frenemies from college who find themselves competing against each other for a huge advertising job. The job just happens to be at the company that Blake’s ex, David’s, family owns. Zach was a fraternity brother and friend to David. I so enjoyed this story. The characters were very well written, some very hot scenes to some LOL moments. All in all it was a sweet love story that did not disappoint
Wow I mean Zach and Blake blew me away with their steamy story! I loved this enemies to lovers trobe!! I loved the built up hate, the built up tension, and the built up lust it made the steam much more! Blake was such a strong character in this story she was a fighter who just didnt quit I loved her and Zach an arrogant ass but who had an heart inside that arrogant ass of his! I just loved this story all away around I waited for this story and let’s just say I’m not disappointed this was flawless amazing job Renee!
Starting off 2019′ right with Renee Harless’s Scr*w You ! This enemies to lovers read was everything I wanted in a book. No “Insta” Love here ladies and gentleman!
Blake & Zack knew each other in college but unbeknownst to Blake…Zack always had a thing for her & unfortunately for him his best friend got to her first. So when drama ensues and hearts are broken; Blake graduates and never wants to look back (or so she thought). Fast forward six years; Blake comes face to face with not only her ex boyfriend David but Zack too. With potential job opportunities on the line Zack and Blake are forced to work together very closely; will they be able to ignore their chemistry? Can Blake forget what she thought she knew about her past?
There were so many things that I loved about this book..the push and pull between these two, their competitive nature & some seriously swoon worthy moments …then throw in some pretty awesome secondary characters and you’ve got one hell of a read to kick off the New Year with I would definitely recommend adding Scr*w You to your must read list
Zack and Blake have definitely never been friends. In fact after what happened in college she never want to see her ex, David who also happens to be Zack’s best friend, or Zack ever again. However as fate would have it, both have been put in her path again 6 years later. Blake is trying to land an account that will be very good for the future of her company, and it just so happens it is with David’s family company and Zack is also going for the same account. And thus begins the competition and that fine line of love/hate between Zack and Blake. Their chemistry is through the roof but can they reconcile what happened in the past in order to explore this chemistry and see if they have something special?I love them together. They are such fantastic characters that have so much more to them than what is on the surface. I was rooting for them all the way! What a fun story! Complete with steamy sexy times and great dialogue. Renee is a new to me author who is now a must read for me for sure!
This is the best book I could’ve started the New Year with! Blake is a badass woman who grows immensely throughout the book. David totally gets what he deserved! And Zack, oh my heart. I need one of him. Great book Renee!
A picture can paint a thousand words or follow you throughout your life. Blake knows this all too well. Little did she know that picture that ruined her college life would also follow her into her adult life.
Enemies to lovers are on the top of my list of books I enjoy. I love watching the characters swim in angst. This push and pull dance started in college and continues up to present day when they are both vying for the same job. It doesn’t take long before they realize they work very well together in more ways than one.
I typically would not change things about a book title, but I would change this one to something like ‘Picture This’ or ‘Take That’. The current title seems a little bit harsh for the storyline. Despite the title, I flipped through the pages. Zach was easy to love.
This one was a fun read. Zach and Blake are such lovable characters. Zach and Blake start out having this hate relationship but deep down they like each other. Zach and Blake are vying for the same job and are forced to work together. They have for a complex relationship and it makes it such a good read
