NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER • Kevin Hearne creates the ultimate Atticus O’Sullivan adventure in the grand finale of the New York Times bestselling Iron Druid Chronicles: an epic battle royale against the Norse gods of Asgard. Unchained from fate, the Norse gods Loki and Hel are ready to unleash Ragnarok, a.k.a. the Apocalypse, upon the earth. They’ve made allies on the darker side of many … allies on the darker side of many pantheons, and there’s a globe-spanning battle brewing that ancient Druid Atticus O’Sullivan will be hard-pressed to survive, much less win.
Granuaile MacTiernan must join immortals Sun Wukong and Erlang Shen in a fight against the Yama Kings in Taiwan, but she discovers that the stakes are much higher than she thought.
Meanwhile, Archdruid Owen Kennedy must put out both literal and metaphorical fires from Bavaria to Peru to keep the world safe for his apprentices and the future of Druidry.
And Atticus recruits the aid of a tyromancer, an Indian witch, and a trickster god in hopes that they’ll give him just enough leverage to both save Gaia and see another sunrise. There is a hound named Oberon who deserves a snack, after all.
Praise for Scourged
“[Kevin] Hearne draws his Iron Druid Chronicles to a pitch-perfect close in this dizzy, world-hopping adventure. But amidst the battles and bargaining that goes into saving the world, there is also an enormous amount of heart.”—RT Book Reviews

This is the last of the Iron Druid Chronicles. Loved this whole series. They are quite humorous with compelling story lines. much action to go along.
Absolutely love his Druid series. Great read!
Overall, this novel left me feeling melancholy. Not to say that it wasn’t an enjoyable read with plenty of action and wonderful characters. All I can say is thank god for Oberon!

Excellent book. Love the characters and the writing. The plot builds throughout the series. Fun read
Disappointing end to a great series
WOW! This final book is the end of a great series that I want everyone to read. It’s action is awesome, but I have come to anticipate and expect that. Kevin delivers! The Epilogue Epilogue was so perfect, that I made an effort to read it slowly as to not miss one single bit. I cried because it was a highly emotional end of the series, and I felt that warm mixture of joy & peace that builds in your chest.
It was a fitting ending to the series. I will miss his hound
Always a fun read.
I love the whole series. Kevin Hearne wrote a fantastic and what I felt was a believable yarn. It also introduces people who might not know anything about Druid’s or pagan lore a bit of history into what they once were and are now.
This book is a disappointing end to the Iron Druid series. The plot lacked the compelling nature of previous books. Some plot points didn’t follow well from previous books, and a number of strong personalities changed dramatically.
Without giving any spoilers, the ending was disappointing, and felt forced, as if Hearne had an ending planned but when he got there, he discovered that the previous books had not led to where he wanted them to.
I’m sad to see it go, but I loved watching it walk away. What a great ending to an outstanding series.
Sad to see the end of this series. The dog just cracks me up every time I read the book!
Last in the series. Sorry to see it end. Although looking forward to see if the author continues with his world.
Sadly the last of the “Iron Druid” series. I believe it is about the 10th book & I’ve enjoyed each of them. Although I don’t think one can beat the 1st one. It seemed like such an original concept: 2,000 year old druid, who looks like a college kid and has a mind meld with his extremely entertaining dog who obsesses about every kind of meat, sausages and gravies. But this book wrapped it up quite nicely and the one thing that kept the series entertaining is that the main character has flaws which create his problems and they cascade into bigger problems. But through it all he learns and grows and now realizes that he has been the author of his own doom. Unique, entertaining…and of course how can one wrap it up better than with Ragnarok?
I love all Iron Druid books. One of my very favorite series. It actually stands with Lord of the Rings. Maybe even more so, since more stories and set in modern times.
Loved the series but hugely disappointed in this book to end the series.
