This year is all about healing the heart, Scorpio. It’s time to leave negative attitudes and stoic facades at the door and let others see the real, more vulnerable you.Percy Freedman is not grieving. Absolutely not, take that back at once. No, he’s entirely sure that selling his dead aunt’s home and leaving the neighbors he’s known for years is the sane thing to do. Who in their right mind would … in their right mind would keep the house that smells like all the hugs he’ll never have again?
Nobody, that’s who.
Well, except his cul-de-sac neighbors. They all seem to think some paint and new furniture will clean the emotional slate. They all want him to stay.
Even his nemesis, Callaghan Glover.
Especially his nemesis, Callaghan Glover.
Lured into a game of Sherlock Gnomes, Percy finds himself hanging out with his neighbors more than might be considered healthy. Along with juggling new and surprising verbal grenades from Cal, and his burgeoning friendship with Gnomber9, Percy is starting to wonder if selling might have been the grief talking after all . . .
That’s right, Scorpio. With a little patience, heartbreak might be a thing of the past . . .

“Scorpio Hates Virgo” contains sarcasm, sexual content, a slightly sappy HEA, and an unhealthy obsession with dinosaurs.
It can be read as a standalone.
Themes: friends-to-lovers, slow burn
Genre: New Adult, light-hearted contemporary gay romance
If you’ve enjoyed “Leo Loves Aries”, you can look forward to a slow burn, will-they-or-won’t-they romance, full of sarcastic banter and a delicious slice of unresolved sexual tension.

Scorpio Hates Virgo was one of my favorite reads of the past few months. I generally enjoy Anyta Sunday’s work, but this book took it up a notch. It’s a slow-burn romance with amazing characters, witty banter and just so much sweetness. If you’re looking for a romance with depth where you feel the love more than the lust, this one is perfect!
I love this author. I’ve never read anything of hers I didn’t love. I’m totally in love with this horoscope series. This enemies-to-lovers is amazing. Percy is so heart broken in so many ways. I just loved watching him grow. Amazing characters, amazing setting. Cameo spot from the first book to tie it in. Everything is aces in this one!
I always enjoy Anyta Sunday’s work and this was no exception! I can’t believe it took me this long to get to it!
Very sweet with a dash of spicy.
The second book in this series based on fun horoscope compatibility, is full of witty banter, sweet knowing looks and ultimately an overwhelming love that’s as sexy as it is fun. This book has a frenemies to lovers trope but it’s so much more than that. These two men needed each other and found each other at just the right time. Percy was so heartbreakingly broken. Waiting for him to realize Cal would always be there for him was more than just slow burn, it was developed so well and I enjoyed every page of watching these two characters grow and bond. This whole series of side characters with their quirks and faults are perfect and I can’t wait to get to the next book in the series.
A lovely read!
Scorpio Hates Virgo…
Or so he pretends…
Such a deliciously lovely and wonderful read with a side of sarcasm and fantastic characters and a great little neighbourhood.
Also, loved seeing the main characters from the first book – those two remain my favourite characters in this series.
Full of slow burn, family, neighbours, loss, friends, fake enemies and love.
Perfect for readers of contemporary romances.

The myth says you can hear the ocean if you stick your ear in a seashell. Something similar happens with this book. If you grab your copy and put your ear (clean ear, please… respect the book!!) on the cover, you may hear a heart beating. It’s a wonderful sensation that will make your tummy flutter with a myriad of butterflies. This book, as the previous one, is something else. Something very special and unique in this genre. Let’s embark in its welcoming embrace to travel to the land of true love!
This time we meet Percy, a young masseur who has recently lost his dear aunt Abby, almost the last member of the family he has left. The inheritance grants him the house, but he is not willing to live in a place that reminds Percy so strongly of his lost aunt. But the house is in a very tight and welcoming neighbourhood that won’t make his refusal of staying any easier. One of those meddling neighbours is not other than Callaghan, his long-life nemesis and the person he can’t wait to lose the sight of. But maybe his new situation deserves a review of his old relationships… Is their open war going to evolve into something else or the atmosphere of the cul-de-sac will be forever spoiled?
If I just have to pick one thing to say about this story, that would be that is full of wonderful moments that make the world pinker and humanity much better than it actually is. I can’t express enough times how amazing this story made me feel during the whole book: confortable, warm, welcome… The same feelings Percy had every time he visited his aunt. It is just mindblowing how easy this book was able to remove me from the daily headaches after a shitty day at the office. I have loved many books in my life, but few times I have been grateful for one. This is the second book by Anyta Sunday that falls in the latter category. I could keep throwing sugar over this review, but I will just hightlight again that this bok is not really a book. It’s a literal hug. I’ll stop before your eyes start rolling!!
In a truly honest review, I must point out that this book is slightly weaker than the first one in one of its aspects: the sense of humor. In that regard, Theo was one of a kind; so I wasn’t deluded into thinking I was going to find the same in this story. This book is not as outrageous funny, but it is still packed with a much more subtle sense of humor. Percy and Cal love to get a rise of each other using their wit and quick thinking in every situation they face. It doesn’t matter if they are crazy happy or sick as a dog. They never miss a chance for good banter and nemesizing. I know, Cal… I know. But I had to use that word. Maybe my face didn’t hurt so much as with Theo’s shenanigans, but it was more than enough to get a pleasant soreness in the facial muscles involved in a smile.
The characters are out of this world. I don’t mean that literally, I just want to say that they are simply astonishing. Perseus (love the whole name, by the way. He should use it more often) is a goodhearted young man that is too used to dealing with life on his own. He is kind of stubborn, though, and he usually is pretty inept at really seeing what is in front of him, cloaking the truth with an absurd belief that he knows better. That made the removal of the blindfold much sweeter, but it also voided his application to my book boyfriend list. But maybe that is just my fault, because I was starstrucked by the amazing neighbour: Callaghan. He is not only a good looking guy who can rock a blue t-shirt (be still my heart!) everyday of the week. Cal is also smart, nerdy, hard-working, good humoured… *sigh* and *sigh* again. That would normally be the classic hunter of the Romance genre, so it is a remarkable surprised to see that Cal is a farmer 100%. He plants the seeds, waters them, takes good care of them and sows the reward. An honest slow love story that feels right. Well done!
This book is presented as an Enemies to Lovers story, but if you are expecting a full battlefront between Percy and Cal you will be sorely disappointed. Yeah, they inisist a lot on calling themselves nemeses, but the truth is far from it. The verbal granades they throw each other have zero malice. They may be a bit awkward together, but they are both too good to wish the other one ill. And when some of them needs help, they do not doubt about lending a hand. That is far from the normal behaviour of nemeses.
A special mention to the crazy cul-de-sacers, whose dynamics never ceased to amaze me in every single chapter. Part of me would love to live in such a place, but I’m not sure if I would feel comfortable with some of the weird games they play. In any case, that neighbourhood is a slice of Paradise on Earth. I can’t believe Percy was willing to sacrifice such a marvelous corner of the world!
The third book has already been added to my TBR list. I’m eager to read it, but I will pace myself. Slow is better, right?
whimsical and entertaining read.
Great characters!
Great book! bBelievable characters and writing at more than a grade school level!!!!!
I loved it, it’s a very sweet and funny book.
Two guys who aren’t really enemies eventually admit they love each other. The families and the neighbors steal the show!
I liked this book.I can’t wait to read more of your books.
