I have a crush on Nolan Archer, Boston University’s freshman running back. He’s the definition of tall, dark, and swoon worthy. My knees weaken every time our eyes meet. There’s only one problem… he’s a virgin. As much as I try to convince myself he’s too young for me, or that I prefer experienced guys, I can’t deny the flames of attraction flaring between us.When his fraternity brothers decide … fraternity brothers decide to auction off his virginity, it forces me to make a decision.
Should I forget about Nolan once and for all, or place the winning bid and be his first score?

After reading the previous books in this series I couldn’t wait to see perri and nolan’s story. It was light-hearted and entertaining. They were both solid characters each with their own goals and objectives but finding love didn’t bode well for them even if everyone one else could see they were meant to be. Great read can’t wait for more from this collective of friends, looking forward to the hockey novels.
I am never disappointed when I open and start a story with this series. I get pulled into a story that makes me remember being young again, and throw in sports, friends, and family I am a very happy reader. I enjoyed Nolan and Perri’s story. I couldn’t wait to see what would happen with them with each page. I would recommend this series to anyone of my friends. I hate to see this series end. It is one of my favorites. I will be going back to binge read soon.
I love it! This is an awesome book. I was a little sad knowing in this was the last book of the Boston Terrier series. I love Nolan and Perri. I found Nolan cute and completely sexy, and I found Perri sassy and just as cute and sexy as Nolan. Both are fantastic characters. I also love all the banter between Nolan and his roommates. This book made me laugh out loud and also brought a tear to my eye and I just did not want to put this book down . Jacob has a way of writing such a rich details to his story and characters. Jacob makes you fall in love with each character and every book he writes.
Nolan Archer stole the spotlight in the Boston Terrier Series. What an amazing, down-to-earth and talented running back with a heart of gold and an alpha streak. I am absolutely in awe with how he knows who is he, what he wants and what he is looking for. Virgin he may be, I loved that he was not ashamed of it and wants his first time to be with someone he cares about.
Perri Benson was such a quirky, outgoing girl with a sassy mouth and stubborn streak. I love how hard she worked, how good of a friend she was to Eliza, and how she really tried her best to keep her promise to her father.
But the moment Perri and Nolan saw each other, there was no way to stop the connection between them. It was so nice to see them grow close together. It was those moments when the thoughts and feelings they shared over the little things in life matched each other’s that created this undeniable bond.
There was a comfort between them that felt very natural. There was an attraction that went well beyond a physical reaction.
However, getting off on the wrong foot definitely put a wedge into how everything else followed through. They struggled and struggled all the while their relationship developed. There were a few twists that I loved, a dash of suspense rolled in with some angst and a bucket of romance to swoon over.
Jacob Chance is just getting better and better. In fact, Score might just be the best one yet. And I cannot wait for the Boston Terriers Hockey Series. (I have my eyes set on Clancy)
I can’t believe it’s over This series is hands down the best sports romance I’ve read.
I loved Nolan and Perri so much. They are so darn perfect together. The thing I love most about Nolan is his honesty. That’s something they both had in common, they say it like it is. Well there were a couple of misunderstandings but besides that they were the most “put it all out there” pair. Their rapport was just magic and if they were people I could hang out with we’d definitely be friends.
I also loved the brotherhood and friendship between Nolan, Clancy, Flynn, and Darren. And I how Perri just naturally fit in with the guys. This series as a whole was a huge touchdown to my heart. I am a little sad that it’s over, but hey I can just read it all over again. And while I’ll miss my football guys I look forward to the next series from Jacob Chance. Score definitely scored 5 stars in my book. #2019MustRead #MustReadSeries period!!!
Score is book six in the Boston Terriers stand-alone series and I absolutely adored Perri and Nolan’s story. From the very beginning reading the first few chapters I was grinning ear to ear and couldn’t get enough. As the story develops I couldn’t help but fall harder for Nolan, our Frat brother virgin. Perri is a woman that is confident, funny and talented in many ways. The epilogue has me giggling and adoring all of BU’s guys, is such a great group and I can’t get enough of them. If your looking for a friends to lovers romance that will have you swooning and continuously turning the page then you need to one click this book now.
I loved Perri and Nolan’s story. It was wonderful watching the friends progress to lovers. And virgins can be the last person you ever expected.
My first Jacob Chance book but definitely not my last.
I LOVED PERRI AND NOLAN!!!!!!!!! This series is so great, but I really think that Jock and Score were a step above the others. I loved how complex Perri and Nolan’s lives were. Neither of these two were any sort of typical, and both had qualities that you would least expect! Jacob is so great about throwing a curve ball at you!!!
One of my favorite parts is how this took us back to the same time frame (and a little before) as Jock. It was curious to see Perri and Nolan’s interaction, since we were so focused on Owen and Eliza before. Perri really surprised me the most, I loved the added layers of her odd job and that her dad was the Dean. Her dad made quite an impression and everyone, and that had me giggling a little bit. Then of course we have Nolan. No one ever expects a jock to be a virgin, and I think that’s one of the best elements of surprise in a book!
These two were truly meant for each other! I loved how they were really a slow burn. Instalove isn’t always what we are looking for. Although they fell quickly, I love how they drew out the onset to their relationship. There were just so many layers between these two and it made it so much better! And per my usual, I LOVE the supporting characters!! The guys on the team are SO HYSTERICAL! Between them and Nolan’s brother I was constantly laughing. I also really liked seeing the other side of Eliza, the Perri’s friend part. I just loved the whole thing!!
Not a massive fan of YA/NY romance but lately I’ve found myself craving these kinds of reads and discovering more and more authors such Jacob Chance.
Score is book 6 in Boston Terriers series and it was a some what light read, with a few twists and turns thrown in, strong main characters and a love story that is addicting and epic. The author had grabbed my attention right from the first chapter and didnt let it go until i had actually devoured this bad boy in one night.
5 Stars!
Jacob is a newish author to me and I’m so glad I started reading his books.
Score is a stand alone book in the Boston Terriers series. From the first page of this book, I was smiling. Perri and Nolan are literally perfect for each other, although Perri is stubborn, but very sassy. The issue is, Perri is the president of the school’s daughter..which means, all of the jocks received a warning, stay away from my daughter. Don’t worry, Perri received the same warning. The dynamic between Perri and Nolan is AMAZING. A few obstacles come in their way, they will find out of the risk is worth it!
Gah, score was an absolute brilliant sports romance filled with so many feels you don’t know what to do with them all.
After reading a book from Jacob Chance a couple month ago I quickly became hooked and just knew without a doubt I would love Score and I was right on so many levels.
Give me a sports romance and I’m putty in your hands. Not gonna lie, they’re my weakness, I love a well written sports romance and that accompanied with a vast amount of feels is just everything I dream of hehe.
Nolan and Perri have taken over most of my day. Once I started their story I couldn’t stop. Their storyline was different but fun, I absolutely enjoyed every second of reading it.
I must admit I wasn’t a fan of how cold she would go against Nolan, I mean that guy was so inexperienced with relationships he didn’t have a clue and she knew that but was still a bitch to him at times *sighs*
But in the end, gah it was just everything I was hoping it would be.
Jacob Chance is quite the author, he’s quickly became one of my favourite sports romance writers and I can’t wait to see what he brings to us in the future.
Score was fun, sexy and lovely. It’s packed with emotions that you’ll love and want more of. I just couldn’t get enough of Nolan and Perri.
Another great addition to the Boston Terriers series. This is a friends-to-lovers, slow burning romance, that was amazingly beautiful, sweet and will give you all the feels. Noah and Perri are perfect for each other and they will make your heart smile. A definite must read I highly recommend it.
This was a terrific romance and a wonderful way to finish up this wonderful series. Nolan and Perri’s story gives you all the feels. These two characters were just amazing. Perri was feisty, sassy, talented, sweet and funny. Nolan was sweet, protective, a real gentleman and an all around great guy. He was totally swoon worthy. Together as a couple they made me laugh, smile and simply melted my heart.
Jacob Chance has once again scored another touchdown with this story! I absolutely loved Nolan and Perri! Chance had me reliving my childhood and giving me ideas of what I can do for fun with my own children in the snow ( I’m not much of an outdoorsy person, especially when it’s cold and snowy). I can’t wait to see what Jacob Chance gives us next!
I fell so hard for Nolan and Perri. This book is full of friends, fun times, laughter, love and some steamy parts. It was a roller coaster watching them fall for each other when they were trying so hard not to and Trying not to get their heart broke. I loved watching their friendship grow into the sweetest love story. The ending – wow! I was not expecting any of that. Loved the surprises that the ending brought. If you want a sweet and fun read, grab this book. Jacob Chance never lets you down with his books. They are always great!!
So much to love reading this book, Nolan and Perri taking the time to know each other, the slow burn for each other was sexy. Nolan showing Perri what fun Vermont can be together, making a snowman, building a snow fort, sledding was too sweet and so adorable, I really enjoyed this couple. Love reading about the frat house crew, what characters-lol hoping to read more about them in the future.
Jacob has written an awesome book to conclude The Boston Terriers Series. You’ll fall in love with the characters as you laugh and cry right along side of them.
Owen’s a nineteen year old virgin living in a frat house on the Boston University Campus. He’s more than comfortable with his sexual status, but the boys in his frat decide it’s time for his virginity to be auctioned. Owen is focused on his football career until he meets Perri who is the first girl to catch his attention. He invites the guys and their girls to come and stay in his home in Vermont for a few days during the Christmas break.
Perri is the Deans daughter and he constantly warns her that the jocks are off limits. They get to know one another better when she goes up to Owens home with him a few days earlier. Communicating their feelings for each other gets twisted up and they decide to be friends. When his teammates arrive and tell him what they’ve arranged Owen is shocked and Perri is hurt. She’s hoping he’ll put a stop to this crazy auction but it appears that he isn’t picking up the vibe of how upset she is.
Score is the 6th and final book in the Boston Terriers series and can be read as a stand-alone.
In Score we get to know Nolan Archer and Perri Benton and see how their story will play out.
Jacob has a talent for writing characters that you can’t help but love, Nolan and Perri are no exception!
Nolan is a sweet, kind and confident virgin who is new to BU freshman. He is also the new running back for the Terriers and newest member of the frat.
Perri is also a student at BU. She is a junior majoring in journalism and is the dean’s daughter. She is a witty, smart and fun independent young woman.
The chemistry between them is undeniable, but when a few of Nolan’s friends decide to set up an auction for his virginity they risk ruining any chance that Nolan and Perri may have at being together. Add that to the pressure of Perri not disappointing her dad because of her agreement with them and she isn’t sure what she should do.
I definitely recommend Nolan and Perri’s story to ALL romance Lovers!
FREAKING EPIC!
So many laugh out loud and swoon worthy moments. Nolan had just the right amount of sweet and alpha and Perri was so fun and sassy! The two together were a perfect match for an awesome friendship. Both afraid to cross the line and putting each other in the ‘friend zone’ makes for one heck of a fun flirty read! 1-click and be ready to laugh your ass off while falling head over heels for a virgin!
#Speechless #Amazing #OhEmGee #OutBid
What a great series this has been. And it ends with a story about a guy who is 19 – and he’s a virgin. Nolan and Perri develop a friendship. Although Perri is attracted to Nolan, she had made a promise to her dad (a Dean at the University), not to fraternize with the football players.
I found this to be a story with a fresh concept. And as always, Jacob delivers the right amount of tension and romance.
