This is such a tender and passionate story of two people trying to move forward after the tragic death of a firefighter.
Jacqui is the young widow who is trying to piece back her life while facing some harsh realizations.
Vin is a friend and firefighter who hasn’t found his way in life yet. It seems that nothing positive goes his way.
Jacqui and Vin’s relationship is complicated and messy with emotions. There are times when my heart breaks for each of them. Jacqui needs to find her identity beyond a widow of her husband the Captain. Vin needs to release himself from guilt for having feelings for Jacqui.
Their story follows them on their path to happiness, understanding, acceptance and love. Perfect!

I purchased a copy of the steamy novel Scorch: A Firefighters of Montana Romance: Book two:Vin and Jaci by Dani Collins and this review was given freely.
Covering the same time frame as book one, good friends come together after less than happy marriages in this poignant action packed novel featuring both social and firefighting scenes. Returning to Glacier Creek, Montana after a bereavement leave with her Florida relatives, grieving widow Jacqui Edwards plans to retrieve her belongings and her dog, quit her job and complete the sale of her home but didn’t count on the strong attraction to her husband’s best friend the divorced fire jumper Vincent Kingston.

I purchased a copy of the slowburn/steamy novel Ignite: A Firefighters of Montana Romance:Ace and Lina Book three by Nicole Helm and this review was given freely.
A virgin-alpha firefighter romance with an instant attraction between two characters who are each hiding their hurt and loneliness behind a facade. This sequel is a somewhat steamy romance that includes a Glacier Creek smokejumper and a step by step analysis of Lina and Dean’s every thought and action but ultimately ends happily. Looking for her best friend Jess Clark’s brother Dean and hoping to escape her father’s influence, the introverted and socially awkward Dr. Lina McArthur moves to Kalispell and the Regional Hospital’s ER where the secretive smokejumper “Ace” Clark happens to be her patient.

Drama and action packed, this sequel returns us back to the hectic life of the Glacier Creek forest station team and contains a brief introductory summary of the first two books as well as an attraction at first sight romance between divorced and disillusioned with marriage Tyler Dodson and the woman he saves, California veterinarian Callie McClain who is visiting her father at his wolf sanctuary.
