I’m no one’s savior.I work with the Cerberus MC for the thrills, not for the glory.Saving people who’ve been trafficked is just a side benefit, coming in second to the adrenaline rush of eradicating some of the evil in the world.Mia Vazquez didn’t seem to get the memo. When I pulled her out of Hell, she wouldn’t let go. She literally wrapped her arms around my neck and refused to release me.I did … neck and refused to release me.
I did the only thing I could do; I held her back.
For weeks I stayed by her side, comforting her and assuring her things would eventually get better.
She managed to climb inside of me, and then she took off.
Mia Vazquez didn’t get the memo.
She’s mine, and letting go of me doesn’t mean I’ll let go of her.

Can Scooter be her knight knight in shiny armor or will she be disappointed by her own expectations?
Just when I think this series can’t get better, Marie James blows me away with another awesome book!Absolutely loved Scooter and Mia’s story from beginning to end! Scooter, with his ability to provide strength, patience and safety to Mia during her recovery made him so swoon worthy! Can’t wait to see what coming next!
Marie James did a great job on Scooter. I could not put the story now. The plot was strong, the story was written well, it was filled with many emotions. Mia and Ryan/Scooter were strong characters, both were fighters. Mia has gone through so much, she never thought she’d feel safe again. But something about Ryan made her feel safe, he was her safe haven. She was drawn to him as much as he was drawn to her. Their connection was strong. They were great together.
I enjoyed this story, it was great. I’d suggest reading it.
Thank you, Marie James. Great work 🙂
Scooter and Mia, I’m not sure what to say. This book was great. Mia came so far with Ryan’s help and her own strength. Marie James is a great author and the Cerberus series is great, but Mia and Ryan was well worth the late night reading 🙂
I have found another name to add to my book boyfriend list, Ryan/Scooter. He was just what I hoped he would be like. But, when it comes to each of the men of Cerberus I don’t expect anything less. Now Snatch is still my first favorite of the series, but I do enjoy each new book that is released.
Mia was broken in a sense when she was rescued. Scooter was the pillar of strength and comfort that was needed for Mia to heal. And boy was MIA someone that Scooter did not see coming where his heart was concerned.
I loved reading how Scooter and Mia’s feelings grew for each other. And then when they both finally put into words how they felt, I knew their story was going to be added to my re-read list.
Scooter is intensely heartbreaking and downright beautiful all in the same breath! Ryan and Mia have an electrical current drawing their souls together even though they find each other in the middle of her own personal hell. Ryan captivated my heart and he could be my savior any day! Who knew this couple would actually be saving each other but in completely different ways. Marie took a very devastating situation that could happen to anyone and delicately wove a very compassionate story of hope, healing and breathtaking love!
Tracey, Life Reads With Friends
I have read this whole series and I love Scooter the best!! All the Cerberus men have big hearts and quirks but Scooter has the biggest heart of all! Don’t get me wrong he is TOTALY ALPHA and sexy as all get out and can be as mean as the others but his soft spot is softer!
Book 11 in the Cerberus world did not disappoint! I’ve been hooked since Kincaids book and have loved each and every book since. This isn’t your typical MC. These men are all former military who rescue women. Mia is Max’s sister from Tugs story. Scooter/Ryan rescues Mia from traffickers and she latches on to him. Get ready for a rollercoaster ride of emotions! Marie James has delivered another wonderful book in this series. Great book!!
I have loved every book from the Cerberus MC and i thought I had a favorite until this book. O my Scooter is by far my favorite book in this series!!! Mia had been abducted for seven weeks when Cerberus finds her. She is the sister of Max who you meant in Tug. Scooter AKA Ryan is the one who carries Mia out of the hell she has gone through for seven weeks. After the rescue Mia doesn’t want to leave Scooter and things go from there. I really don’t want to give anything away. All I can say is that this is an emotional roller coaster and such a great story. I never wanted to put it down and finished it in a day and was so disappointed when it ended. I wanted it to go on more. You will not be disappointed reading this book.
Book 11 in the Cerberus MC series. Yes, it is still going and it’s AMAZING!!!! Marie is doing an excellent job with them and I can’t wait to see who is next.
Scooter and Mia’s story is lovely. Scooter is so patient with Mia. Their tender moment made me teary eyed. It was that magical. I loved every second of their story.
You have to read Scooter and Mia’s story, it’s one of a kind.
I was so looking forward to where Mia and Scooter’s story would go after being introduced in Marie’s previous Cerberus MC book. Watching the bond grow beyond Mia’s need for safety and comfort was moving. I wish the harsh reality depicted in this book could always turn out the way Mia’s story did. Looking forward to the next book Marie gifts us with!
Omg! I absolutely loved Mia and Scooter! This is probably my favorite book in the series!
Great Book!!!
The men of Cerberus MC are out to rescue Max’s twin sister who was kidnapped for sex trafficking. It’s Ryan/Scooter who scoops Mia up out of the pit of hell and gently takes her out of there. Ryan is the only one who can calm Mia in the hospital and to her family’s surprise it’s Ryan she wants when she gets out. She’s heading back to New Mexico with her savior and the only person who gives her a little peace while dealing with everything she has been through.
Ryan doesn’t see this as a burden either. He will do anything in his power to help Mia after seeing what she’s been through. Is it right he is starting to have more feelings for Mia? But this is where it gets really good because Ryan is the kind of guy who puts others and their needs before his own. Their story only draws you in even more watching the way that Ryan is trying to help Mia heal.
I couldn’t put this book down. It took me on a rollercoaster ride with emotions and watching “sweet Mia” battle her way back. I highly recommend this book and can’t wait to read what’s next for this author because she always puts out great books. Plus the men from Cerberus MC are exceptional in so many ways.
Scooter is the 137th book I’ve read this year. So many great books by wonderful authors, but they all don’t effect me like Scooter has. Truth be told, I fell in love with Scooter when he was introduced at then end of Tug (Cerberus MC #10). With every page I turned, I felt more and more with family. And it’s so enjoyable to reconnect with characters from previous Cerberus MC stories.
The Cerberus MC men are all honorable and respectful, but Ryan (aka Scooter) could be the poster boy for CerberusMC. Ryan not only had respect for the women in the Miami compound, but when he saw Mia Vasquez in the hospital bed, intuition took over without regard to himself or the others in the room. Ryan’s character hit me on a personal level. He’s not what I’d call “book boyfriend”, but a “man” that I’d want to meet. I’ve absolutely loved the entire series and I can say that Scooter now sits in the top 3 with Kincaid and Dominic. I’m not beyond begging Author Marie James for an additional book of Ryan & Mia!
** spoiler alert ** When Mia was taken 7 weeks ago, she thought that was her end. Scooter has lived life in the fast lane and doesn’t plan to settle down. One meeting changes everything. Will Mia be able to overcome the horrors she has suffered? Will Scooter get everything he never knew he wanted?
I’ve always loved this series and this book was no different. I loved how Scooter time and again placed himself as her protector and was willing to do anything to help her. I didn’t blame Mia for ANY of her reactions after what she suffered, but absolutely loved seeing her slowly grow stronger. Great read and cannot wait for the next in this series!
Scooter: Cerberus MC Book 11 by Marie James…… Holy Hell this book was amazing!!!! I could honestly read this series the rest of my life!!! Scooter (Ryan) and Mia’s story is definitely an emotional roller coaster but one that I absolutely loved. Mia has lived seven weeks in hell until the day that she is rescued from Cerberus but mainly Scooter. She clung to Ryan, he brought her peace. I can not wait for the next book in this series!!!!
Amazing addition to the Cerberus MC series. Scooter jumped to the top of my Marie James book boyfriend list. Loved how he cared and was there for Mia when she needed an anchor. You could feel their connection from the start. Mia’s journey to get her life back was a moving experience. Can’t wait for the next book. voluntarily reviewed an ARC.
I just love this series. This was defiantly a heart wrenching book. Mia goes through hell when she was kidnapped. Your heart breaks for her. She’s a survivor after battling her demons. Scooter is so caring, patient and so protective. He is exactly what she needs. I can’t wait to read more.
This is book 11 in the Cerberus MC series. I fell in love with book one, and they keep getting better.
This is Ryan “Scooter” and Mia’s story. You met them in Book 10, but you can read this without reading the previous book. The Cerberus MC is not your typical MC club they rescue women and Mia needed to be rescued from the worst of the worst. Ryan only intended to rescue Mia everything after that was unplanned but not totally unwanted. Love comes in many ways. Mis found her calm in the storm of life. Now she must learn to heal and deal with the life that comes next.
This story will make you cry and laugh and get angry and be happy all in a chapter. SO, sit back and enjoy the ride. This book will not disappoint you. Pick up one or even the box set to enjoy the ride of your life.
You know how sometimes you read a series that you never want to end? Well the Cerberus MC series is that series for me. Scooter is book 11 and I’m still loving it.
Scooter and Mia’s story really pulls at the heartstrings. The things this woman has endured are beyond my comprehension, but the way Scooter literally comes in and saves her and never lets her go had my romantic heart in a melted puddle on the floor.
Bring on book 12, I think my heart has recovered enough for the next emotional rollercoaster ride.
