I’m no one’s savior.I work with the Cerberus MC for the thrills, not for the glory.Saving people who’ve been trafficked is just a side benefit, coming in second to the adrenaline rush of eradicating some of the evil in the world.Mia Vazquez didn’t seem to get the memo. When I pulled her out of Hell, she wouldn’t let go. She literally wrapped her arms around my neck and refused to release me.I did … neck and refused to release me.
I did the only thing I could do; I held her back.
For weeks I stayed by her side, comforting her and assuring her things would eventually get better.
She managed to climb inside of me, and then she took off.
Mia Vazquez didn’t get the memo.
She’s mine, and letting go of me doesn’t mean I’ll let go of her.

Holy cow does Marie write a bad character?! Just kidding I know she doesn’t because I have read every single one of them. Her Cerebus MC guys just keep getting better! Loved Ryan/Scooter & Mia’s story. Think he might be one of the sweetest ones yet! Thanks for another awesome book!!
I loved Scooter. Marie James is an awesome writer and she makes you want to keep reading. Mia and Ryan are a beautiful couple. They both were broken and fixed each other. This book is a great addition to the Cerberus Club MC books.
I loved everything about this book. Marie has done a fabulous job! This is the book of Scooter (aka Ryan) and Mia (Max’s twin from Tug’s book). Mia was Kidnapped 7 weeks ago and the Cerberus Men have been sent in on a rescue mission. Scooter is the one to find Mia and carrier her to safety. Scooter also seems to be the only one who can sooth Mia when she has a panic attack.. So when its time for Scooter to go back home with the Cerberus Men.. he does the one thing he knows he probably shouldn’t do.. Brings Mia with him… even if it is for a short while.. But what happens when Mia does start to get better and feelings on both sides start to develop??
This book was phenomenal Marie!! Thank you for the amazing job! I cant wait for our next Cerberus Man!!
This was a great book to read. I have been in a mood were I just cant seek to get through a book but Marie always seems to bring me out of it. Her stories always comes at the right time for me. I highly recommend this book even the whole series.
Mia has been abducted and living a tortured life. Until she is saved saved by Ryan “Scooter”. He loves what he does. Save innocent lives and getting ready of the bad guys of the world. But can Mia be saved from herself and start living life again? Can Ryan help her out of the h*ll she had been in?
Check out this book and the rest of the Cerberus guys.
After being kidnapped, held captive then rescued by the Cerberus team Mia latches onto Scooter, in her mind he’s the one who rescued her. It isn’t uncommon for the victim (Mia in this case) to feel a connection towards their rescuer, and as Scooter was the one who lifted her out from the dark, hellish world she’d been held in, he was the one she feels in her mind rescued her, she feels safe in his arms and he’s patient, caring and protective towards her. Scooter himself struggles with his feelings towards the beautiful, broken young woman he’d rescued, trying to balance what she needs from him in order to recover and his own wants and needs but Mia’s struggling with her own grief and guilt when it comes down to her feelings towards Scooter, is she holding back, interfering with his job? So she goes and runs from the only person and place where she feels safe, Scooter’s willing to give her some time but he’s not going to let her run forever, especially when he’s just found her.
Another exciting, thrilling and very emotional five star read from the talented Ms James, this whole series is amazing and only seems to be getting better and better. Dive in you will not be disappointed.
.
Wow! This book starts off right where the action is. It was instantly captivating, pulling me in to the story. I could not put it down, not that I even tried. I was seriously devoured this book very fast!
The group of Cerberus are made up of ex-Military men that are now all part of an MC. But they are completely different to your usual MC. These guys are amazing, and Scooter won my heart within a few pages. His connection to Maya was instant. I loved how patient he was with Maya, how he was there for her no matter what. I loved how strong Maya was and my heart ached for what she had been through.
This book is definitely on of my favorites from this author, and I can’t wait until another one comes. These guys are just so addicting!
I love the men of Cerberus MC. They rescue those who victims of the sex trafficking industry and get rid of those that are involved in it. In this one they are out rescuing Max’s twin sister who was kidnapped. Scooter never expected that when he found her their lives would never be the same again.
Of course Mia’s life has been changed but having Scooter aka Ryan is one thing that really makes an impact. Ryan never expected to be such an important supporting person with Mia and he never expected to be so drawn to her. He doesn’t see her constant need to be with him and around him as a burden and he ends up needing her as well. Things aren’t going to be easy. Mia has a lot to overcome and maybe Ryan does as well.
Their story isn’t all flowers and rainbows but the connection and love that grows between them is beautiful. I couldn’t get enough of this book and loved seeing it all play out.
Yep… Another MC book… Another ride… Another freaking amazing journey. Hell yeah.
Marie James has this amazing MC series that I’ve been following for a while now. It feels like she can listen to me telling her to not end this series.
I love Kincaid and his brothers and I always want to more.
Her writing is hot, wild, sexy, hard, and with so much hotness into the mix as well as crime and drama.
It’s the perfect combination if you ask me.
Scooter is her latest release and it’s the eleventh book from the Cerberus MC series.
If you’re truly an MC fan, I advise you to read Kincaid first and then go from there. You’ll love it. I’m sure.
This new book explores the lives of Scooter and Mia.
Ryan aka Scooter is one of the brothers. He’s an ex-marine that joined Cerberus MC to help others. Going into hostage situations and being able to save the abducted makes his life complete. His motto is to get in, save the women, and get out. No strings attached until Mia.
Mia had a normal life. Her family, her fiance, and her job. She was happy although a bit lonely because her so-called fiance worked more than spend time with her. It all started as the perfect day until it wasn’t.
She was abducted and abused until she was saved by Scooter.
Now she only trusted this stranger. How is that possible?
This book just stole my heart. My emotions are all over the place.
Superb plot, very well written, super engaging, and intense.
It was similar to riding the most bumpiest rollercoaster of your life.
All chapters had so many emotions on display and sometimes it was hard to read without losing it.
Chapter after chapter, you witness the struggle of one of the characters to survive and you witness the feeling of hopelessness of the other.
It was one emotional ride and I advise you all to read it.
Trust me. You’ll love it.
Amazing Marie James. Simply amazing.
Can’t wait for more.
An emotionally heartbreaking, suspenseful, thrilling, and heart felt journey to go on with Mia and Ryan (Scooter). This series has been nothing but fantastic but this book took it another level. The Cerberus men are all about rescuing and protecting women. Scooter was so much more, his understanding, tenderness, and overall connection he obtained with Mia was simply beautiful. I absolutely loved everything about this book.
Scooter is part of the Cerberus MC for the adrenaline rush and to save people, not for attention. While on a mission with the club he helps rescue Mia. Mia has gone through hell and will let no one help her other than Scooter. She wants to become independent and ends up taking off. Scooter is determined to make her see that she’s his and they could have a good life together. He was so patient and understanding with Mia. Mia didn’t want to slow him down. The two were a dynamic couple and I enjoyed reading this story.
I received a copy of this book and am leaving a review.
I like the way the characters are with each other, Mia was in hell but she met Ryan at the right moment. She had a lot of pain to get through but she was never alone, Ryan is an amazing man. He loves her unconditionally and he stood by her and let her reclaim herself, it’s really an awesome book, Author Marie James did a phenomenal job.
5 Stars
I have always loved this series from Marie James, and Scooter just adds more mad love to it. The Cerberus MC is a group of ex-military men that are contracted to handle extremely difficult cases and do the greater good. In Scooter, Marie James has taken a very delicate subject and made an absolutely beautiful story out of it. Scooter and Mia are both amazing characters that have so much growth and strength throughout this book. Amazing story that will touch your heart and soul.

This is not you’re average MC story. It is so much more. Scooter is the 11th book in Marie James’ Cerberus MC series. The action began on page one & had me hooked. I fell in love with the characters, the plot was great and held my interest from start to finish. I loved that the guys in the MC could be badass yet they stood for doing the right thing. It doesn’t hurt either that these guys are ex military. There were many heartbreaking moments (my heart hurt so many times) & the angst is high. Ryan, aka Scooter, & Mia’s beginning wasn’t typical not ideal. They are both broken for different reasons but they were perfect together. Don’t get me started on the sexy scenes. Whew! They were smokin” hot!
This was a very emotional yet extraordinary ride with a HEA. Marie James did a wonderful job writing this book. If you love MC books, I recommend reading it.

Scooter is the eleventh book in Cerberus MC Series. I couldn’t wait to read Scooter, I knew the pretext of what this story was about, and who the characters were from reading the ending of Tug. With saying that you would have no problem reading Scooter, as a standalone. I swear each novel that Marie James writes, it always seems so much better than her last one. I have fallen in love with many of her characters, and Ryan/Scooter and Mia are no different. He’s was so kind and patient with Mia after her ordeal. I like how we get glimpses of past characters in each story. Looking forward to the next book in this series.
Another incredible read in this MC series. The story was fantastic and Scooter was definitely swoonworthy for me – the strong alpha with the soft tender side. I found myself completely engrossed in this story with the plot and twists and I am sad this read is over so soon!
It all started with a trip to the mall
All Mia wanted was a tube of lipstick. Instead she ends up in a nightmare. While trying to help what she thinks is a stranded motorist, she’s kidnapped. She’s beaten and forced to do horrendous things, praying for death. Then comes her savior, and her dead brother. Has she died?
When Scooter helps take down another human trafficking scum he never expects to become the only one that can comfort the woman they went in to rescue. He also never expects to fall for her. Then she disappears.
Scooter is the eleventh title in the Cerberus MC series. Whilst this title can be read as a standalone parts of Mia and Scooter’s story began in Tug the tenth title, and there is some overlap in the storyline and I would recommend reading both titles, if not the whole series.
Mia is a survivor. She’s endured unimaginable abuse after being kidnapped and held hostage, and although she’s more than a little bit broken she’s incredibly strong and resilient.
Scooter is a lethal and deadly alpha warrior, but he’s also Mia’s savior and guardian angel. He’s honorable, respectful, loving, kind, caring, patient and loving and will do anything to help Mia find her feet again.
This title is full of the drama, danger, violence and action I’ve come to expect from this series and I thoroughly enjoyed Mia and Ryan’s story and look forward to the next addition to the Cerberus series.
We meet Mia and Scooter (Ryan) in the previous book. Ryan is the one that rescues her. Mia trusts him more than she trusts anyone. She ends up coming back to the clubhouse with him so that she can start to heal. But things aren’t so easy. This storyline was absolutely amazing. These two together have such amazing chemistry. The way that Ryan is with Mia is the way that any guy should be with the girl he loves. Marie did an amazing job writing this storyline. You can easily feel what these two are feeling at any given time. But will these two get the happy ever after? Mia is a strong character that is very well written. I enjoyed watching her move on from what happened to her and be able to feel with Ryan. Ryan is the boyfriend that everyone wants. Someone that understands and will be there to help with the healing. He was never pushy and always understanding. Just one amazing storyline with two amazing characters who you absolutely fall in love with. I loved this one and highly recommend reading it
Mia has been taken and has been gone for 7 weeks. She was tortured and abused during that time period. Cerberus and Scooter (Ryan) goes in and saves her. Scooter is the one that picks her up and comforts her. When she is at the hospital she is agitated and he hears her and goes to her. He immediately gets her to calm down. She finds him safe. Now she is with him at their compound and she is slowly but surely getting a little better. He has another mission to go and do. He is worried about her but the other girls will take care of her. She isnt has bad with the girls as she is with the guys. She and him has this moment where he tells her something and It is so good I loved it
I am in Love with Scooter!!!! I want him.
Loved this book
Scooter loves his job and the Cerberus brothers he lives and works with.
When they rescue Mia he is drawn to her and as the man who rescued her he is the only one who makes her feel safe. She has demons to battle but so does he and when his feelings for Retribution effects him doing missions for Cerberus he has to sit and evaluate everything when she goes home they are both lost but wow I love everything there is about this book and then some
