Parker books are fast moving, with short short chapters. The plots hold the readers’ interest and are realistic mysteries.
Parker’s Spenser is a Force! Great witty dialogue, action-packed and then there’s Pearl!
As a Spenser fan I enjoyed the story. It had different twists in his search for the “truth’ about the school shooting(s).
Great read. Robert Parker is sadly missed although Ace Atkins does a good job
Typical Robert B. Parker. He was one of the best, what can I say.
Slightly dated now but still fun.
Parker books are always a good read! The audible by Joe Mantenega is a huge plus!

Spenser is always a treat.
Not his best, but a solid Spenser story.
Love everything by Robert B Parker
My first Spenser read. Where have I been all this time? I highly recommend this book.
School Days is another great Robert B. Parker novel. The private eye Spencer character is driven to know why a young man shot up a school. He is relentless in getting to the reasons and meets others who try to get in the way. The story has a bittersweet ending.
Excellent as usual for Parker!
Nobody better at dialogue!
Typical Parker. Enjoyable leisure reading.
