Forever in denial
Such a fantastic start to a new series. The author used this book to not only tell us the story of how Scarlet met her mates, but also set up at least two new books with little hints throughout. I really enjoyed how Scarlet quickly changed her view on mating after she met her two guys. The author gave all three of them exactly what they needed, but she didn’t make it easy or painless. By the HEA we knew these were fated to be together and intrigued by what might happen with the sisters. I can’t wait to read the next book.
Fast, dirty and Pawsitively Steamy!
This MFM Alpha Shifter book is sexy as sin! This was a quick read filled with plenty of smoking hot encounters that leave you begging for more! Ruling Alpha pair Keller & Madden seemed to meet their match with their fated mate Scarlet. Having been born with a mark that seals her fate to be mated to two alphas, Scarlet had 30 years to prepare herself for this day and she handled it quite well. Her character fit the ruling alphas’ mate perfectly as she showed strength and compassion throughout the book. Keller and Madden are two very opposite personalities but they complement each other perfectly. All the characters were well developed and I fell hard for each one. The only thing I would wish differently for this book would be to make it longer!! I wanted to continue with Keller, Madden and Scarlet but I look forward to reading about her sisters next. Celia Kyle has a way with words to make you all hot and bothered one minute then laughing the next. If you are looking for a great shifter book with an original plot that includes two very yummy Alphas and one feisty woman I would definitely pick up a copy of Scarlet (Alpha Marked Book 1) today.
A great start to a sister’s trilogy, Scarlet starts the sister’s trilogy off strong. The main character is obnoxious enough to be like that loud cousin that you hate to not invite to your drinking parties but just unsure of herself enough to stay likable. This story has enough back story about Scarlet and her life before the Gathering that you feel a connection with her. It’s a really good start to the sister’s stories.
Scarlett is the oldest of the triplets she has just turned thirty and received an invitation to the gathering of alphas. She also know it would be the end of her independence as she knew it. Keller and Madden connected with Scarlett when a set of wolves were displaying their dominance with angered the sisters but once in their presence, Keller knew that Scarlett was their fated mate. but before they could claim her they will have to battle an alpha pair of wolves that wants not only Scarlett but Keller’s and Maddens territories and be deemed Ruling Alphas. Will Keller maintain their territory and claim their mate? This story draws you in and keeps you glued to the drama.
Totally different and engagingly humorous shifter based story.
Three triplet sisters find mates in a unique gathering setting.
Love the snarkiness, sillyness, and bond between the sisters.
Adding hot alpha wolves to the mix doesn’t hurt either.
The eldest sister I think, is Scarlet, the one who didn’t pay attention to what she needed to know, ends up with two very special mates, not even knowing who they are. Really funny scenario.
The author has re-released these books under different covers and titles, I think due to getting the rights back but don’t quote me.
I own the box set of six booms under the original titles.
Rereading the newer versions through Kindle Unlimited though there seems to be no changes to the stories.
