A wallflower by nature, Jane long ago accepted she would become a spinster. Perhaps such a fate was for the best. After all, she’d witnessed firsthand how miserable marriage could make a lady. Still, she dares to dream, until she finds herself thoroughly scandalized by a lord with the manners of a wild boar. After Caleb Wesley, The Earl of Keery, failed to protect the one person who’d counted on … who’d counted on him, he embraced his role of blackguard. He holds his vices close-light skirts, gambling, and liquor-and has no intention of giving them up. Even after he accidentally ruins a lady and finds himself forced to offer marriage.
Two people brought together through an unwanted circumstance discover something neither one believed they’d ever have. Can they let go of their old hurts and beliefs long enough to embrace the gift fate bestowed upon them?

I have read a few in this series and I thoroughly enjoyed this story about Lady Jane and the rogue Caleb, Lord Kerry, my only gripe is the fact that it was over all to quickly.

Lord Keery is drunk when he enters Lady Jane Skillingtons room and the chemistry is magnetic. When he wakes up and realizes what happened everything goes down hill.
This storyline is intriguing and emotional. I was hooked from the beginning.
I Highly Recommend this book for OVER 18 DUE TO CONTENT.

Fun, sweet well written historical romance about two characters that are forced to get married. They have to go through a lot towards their HEA. They have to let go of their pain from the past and let their walls down. Can they do that?
Characters are well described and likeable.
Worth the read.
The fourth book in the Ladies and Scoundrels series. Lady Jane Shillington who believes she will forever be a spinster meets Caleb Wesley, Earl of Keery in a most peculiar way. He is drunk and comes to her bed by mistake. This book had me smiling at some of the things that happen. I would recommend this book. Lady Jane is resigned to being a spinster.
When Lord Kerry finds his way to her room will it be an aswer to her prayers for a loving marriage and life shared?
As they get to know each other mistakes are made but revelations ate sweet and dreams can come true.

Compromised simply because you were too foxed to know you had entered the wrong room well this is what Caleb faced. Jane the lady who thought she would never marry is now being forced into this union. What a way to start a marriage there are super twists in this story before a finally happy ending. The story takes you from a somewhat dismal start to an appealing end with some disturbing events along the way. A super good story that was a pleasure to read hope you enjoy it too. The good storyline and character development kept my attention throughout the entire book! I was so involved reading this book that I ended up reading it in one sitting! I look forward to reading more from this author!
Jane was scandalous staying in a bed that a drunk Caleb suddenly occupies and what did she think would be the result other than marriage. There were plenty of communication problems between them but they were forced to marry quickly without knowing much about each other. Scamp the puppy was cute.
