LOVE ONLY ME by Amanda Mariel is the first book in the Scandal Meets Love series. FIND ME LOVE by Dawn Brower is the second book. IF IT’S LOVE by Amanda Mariel is the third book. ODDS OF LOVE by Dawn Brower is the fourth book.
These are four wonderful stories with strong females and the men who are drawn to them and irresistible smitten. I love that none of the men try to change their women, but admire, accept, and encourage them for who they are – despite what society says they should be.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading these stories and I’m looking forward to reading more from the series.
It felt like there was a book missing in the anthology, before the book ODDS OF LOVE, since we suddenly find out (view spoiler) but that wasn’t revealed in any of the three previous books. In what book are those revealed?
Note: While I received this book as a gifted ARC via Booksprout, my opinions are my own and are given freely.

This is an absolute gem of a collection and a must have for all those who love Regency Romances! All the stories in this boxset are beautifully written by two very talented authors. I have read books by Ms. Mariel (all wonderful!), but Ms. Brower is new to me. I have to say I have found another great author to follow!
The storylines and plots were all artfully crafted with well defined characters and kept me hooked until I finished. I had to pace myself as I wanted to read all in one sitting! Plenty of drama, intrigue, and plot twists to keep you hooked till the end! You do not want to miss this outstanding collection!

Sometime during the Regency Period is a group of friends, independent and free-thinking, not interested in following the dictates of the fine society of London.
When they meet love, it is not immediately clear to them and their suitors have a hard time to make them accept something as mundane as marriage.
A slightly unusual courtship in all 4 books ensues. A great collection of strong women during the Regency period. Entertaining and fun to read.

A wonderful collection of four books by two authors I adore.
Here is just one of them but enjoy them all!
Amanda Mariel
If It’s Love
London 1813 When Lady Hannah decided she just had to go watch one of London’s most infamous card sharks play at an all male gaming hell, she knew she had to be careful and dressed as a lad.
But of all people, her brother’s best friend, Graham, Lord Ramsey came up behind her and made her follow him out. When he threatened to tell her brother, she was desperate to make a deal with him, promising never to go to Seven Dials and to let him accompany her home. But a funny feeling happened on the way to her home. She felt an attraction to Graham!
Such a delightful story that I really enjoyed. Watching these two strong willed characters interact and try to find their happy ever after!
Dawn Brower
Odds of Love
Such a lovely story but I adored the heroine, Lady Katherine, who was left a fortune, a cottage near Bath and a horse farm in Sussex. She sets out for the horse farm and wants to breed her mares with a stallion that is owned by Bennett, the Marquess of Holton. No Bennett does not believe a woman should be so independent and making those important decisions. Needless to say, they butt heads and it is a lot of fun to see!
Loved these two and their journey to a happy ending!
This is a nice set of stories. I’m not going to review them separately since I enjoyed them all. I would recommend taking a break between each one as the theme is the same for all of them, a feisty heroine and a gentleman who doesn’t approve of her behavior. The same characters inhabit the stories so getting to know them isn’t a problem. If you like Regency romances just outside of standard activities, you will enjoy this collection.
I received a free copy of this book and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review.
Two great authors 4 amazing stories of 4 woman who finally meet their match. Cross over characters that are supporting that are the Heroin in one book and a supporting character in another. Each book is wonderful

This was a marvelous set of books. It was absolutely captivating. They were all so well-written. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book in exchange for a free copy.
These stories are set in the regency era with all the drama, heartache and despicable rakes we’ve come to expect. They have had some tough times and had to overcome some serious challenges. And the strong, smart stubborn, independent Ladies who love them.

Every book in this set was an absolute gem!! I really liked how all of the characters played important roles not only in their own stories but also were caring and supportive secondary characters in all of the other stories as well!! Great collaboration on the part of these two authors! Each male main character was true to the time period in their opinions about what women should and should not be allowed to do but I really liked how they were then shown to be willing to reconsider those beliefs and adopt a new attitude when they realized just how much the progressive attitudes and actions had shaped the women they could entrust with their hearts and find their HEA with. This is a set of books worthy of being read more than just one time!!

This is a collection of the first 4 books in the “Scandal Meets Love” series. Titles included are: Love Only Me, Find Me Love, If It’s Love, and Odds of Love. Below is a review of one of the books to give you an idea of what’s included.
*** Reviewing “ODDS OF LOVE” ***
Lady Katherine Wilson had been postponing a meeting with her grandmother’s solicitor, but she couldn’t ignore it anymore. Mr. Adamson walked her over to a warm fire to shake off the winter chill. He gave her a letter from her grandmother where it stated that, when her grandmother had married, her mother made sure that her daughter would always be provided for. In England, property is immediately owned by a woman’s husband after marriage vows are said, but her mother didn’t believe a woman should be controlled by a man. So the marriage contract had been written to keep her a wealthy woman, despite her husband getting a large amount himself. But her son, Charles, Katherine’s father, is a harsh man and would like nothing more than to control Katherine. Now he could not. Her grandmother told her to marry only for love, then left her entire estate to Katherine.
Katherine had ten thousand pounds in the bank, a horse farm in Sussex, and a cottage near Bath. The farm would bring in an enormous income for her each year. She would go to her father’s estate and pack, then travel to her farm in Sussex immediately to live her own life the way she wished.
Katherine wants to breed the farm’s mares, but the stallion she wants to use is owned by Bennett Evans, the Marquess of Holton, who does not believe a woman should be running a farm or making important decisions that are better left to a man. How long will he stubbornly fight against this strong, independent woman who knows her mind?
This was an outstanding, well-written book that I loved from the very start! It was so good to see that her grandmother took care of Katherine, as her own mother had done for her. Women could easily be left destitute in those days. Instead, having her own means of support, Katherine can develop in to the strong, intelligent woman she was destined to be. It would take a man who saw her value and loved her strength to recognize the treasure she was, net assets notwithstanding! The reader could immediately see the battle lines drawn and the humor that was bound to come out of this! Don’t miss this one – it is a joy to read! And then enjoy the equally outstanding books included by the author in this collection.
I loved this collection by two authors. They featured four women friends who were unorthodox, strong women who each had finally met their love match. There were great, romance and intrigue and of course a HEA. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy from Booksprout

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Wow these books were just so good and so easy to get lost in. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and I just didn’t want them to end. I just couldn’t get enough of these wonderful characters and I just loved getting to see their journey. I will most definitely be reading more stories from this wonderful author.
A good regency boxset where all of the books use many of the same characters, yet are all still standalone (though I definitely recommend reading all of them inside and outside this set that are related – they’re amazing!)
Love Only Me
Narissa was definitely an interesting heroine, much unexpected in the regency times. I love that I get to learn a lot more about this Fortuna’s Parlor which pops its head up in so many stories. The high gambling and horse racing presence in this book was fascinating. Wonderful characters and a good storyline.
Find Me Love
I loved that Lulia was such a present character in this book. The side theme of fencing was enjoyable too. Lovely characters with a rogue gentleman. Good moments.
If It’s Love
I liked returning to characters from the first book in this series. Wonderful characters and I loved the line between the mains and relatives. An enjoyable story of attempting to quiet a rebellious girl.
Odds of Love
I was excited to find a character from the second book in this series that I hoped would get her own story. I enjoyed this story of a lady striving for her independence regardless of the naysayers.

LOVE ONLY ME: Amanda Mariel
This is not a boring story. It is the verbal and emotional duel between the H and h. Both characters were strong able bodied, independent and intelligent. The h was raised in an unconventional way which added to her mystic and uniqueness. The H, a duke, wealthy, handsome, determined and singularly focused knew the h was in his way. It was fun to watch the consternation between the two when they fought their attraction to each other. A delightful read and I do recommend it.
FIND ME LOVE: Dawn Brower
A story of a strange type of love. As neighbors the h and H did not grow up together. When they were a little older, they were barely acquaintances. The h did not feel she was a great beauty and had garnered little attention at balls. She accepted that she was a wall flower and on her way to spinsterhood. Then she discovered fencing and for the first time became alive. She loved learning and she was good at it. Her parents ignored her for the most part and she was on her own while in London while they lived in the country. She had several good friends she relied on. The H had come into his title after his father died while he was on his grand tour. His father’s dying wish was for the H to marry the h. But at that time, he felt nothing for her and thought her the last person he would marry. For six years he lived with his grief of losing his father by living a debauched life style. One evening he was on his way to being totally foxed he decided to go to a ball, change his life for the better and find a wife. At the ball he recognized the h but did not remember her name. He admired the changes in her since the last time he saw her and knew in a heartbeat that she was the one for him. Now the h did not trust easily and thought he must be joking. The H had a lot to prove and he was determined to win her. Now the h had a secret life and the H found out. He was shocked that she took no precautions for her safety or reputation. This irritated the h. But the H used this to blackmail her into courting him for two weeks. Will the h make it easy for him to win her? Would the H take her freedom to pursue her interests away? Would the h ever be able to trust? An interesting story. Not very romantic.
IF IT’S LOVE: Amanda Mariel
I fell in love with the h/H characters immediately. This is such a fun read. It reminded me of a tug of war. Yes, No Yes No. The h was a daring lady loved to play cards, go to horse races, races of any kind actually and loved to drink scotch. The H caught her one evening in her disguise and threatened to tell her brother the duke what she was up to. They came to an understanding. The H was a clever man. He was able to thwart some of her activities in a way that did not give her up to her brother. She was livid. It was pretty funny. Both had honor and both were attracted to one another. It was entertaining how the H kept tabs on the h to keep her safe and it was so romantic the way they fell in love. An excellent story.
ODDS OF LOVE: Dawn Brower
What a charming story. Two people at constant odds with each other find love. I adored the h and H. So genuine, so realistic, independent, focus driven and willing to compromise even when they did not want to. When the h’s grandmother died, it opened a new world to the h, a world of possibilities but more importantly independence. She had one more year before her majority and her father insisted, she attend London for the season. He wanted her wed. Her father never figured the H would come along and fall madly in love with his daughter. I did feel sorry for the h as her father never really showed her any paternal love. He also could be harsh with her because he expected her to be the perfect typical lady. Subservient in every way. Her Grandmother wrote her a letter upon her death and revealed some wonderful positive encouraging truths to her. The h decided to take full advantage and live fully. When the H realized his feelings for the h, he knew he would accept her as she was and would never want her to change. A delightful read.
