Truly inspirational, one of the best novels I have in a long time. I loved Zach, truly a man’s man
Loved the book but it left you hanging and in need of purchasing the next in the series. I do not appreciate authors doing this. Loved the characters but was frustrated with an unfinished story.
Very emotional story but I loved this book, Presley finally got her happily ever after.
4.5 stars – one of the best books I’ve read
If you are looking for a book full of second chances, you have found it with Say You’ll Stay. Not only is it an excellent second chance romance, but if you are paying attention you’ll find some awesome life lessons too.
When we meet Presley, and the majority of the story is from her Point of View, she thinks her life is great. She’s got a great home, good family, and a job she really likes. When the rug gets pulled out from under her, she has to figure out what she’s really made of.
We watch Presley and her sons return to the home town and family she left 18 years ago. Ms. Michaels does an excellent job of letting us see just how fragile some of the family ties have become due to time and distance. The reappearance of her first love doesn’t seem to help things either (at least initially).
I enjoyed the fact that our heroine is slightly older and has experienced life. It made her story hit home for me, especially seeing her deal with some hard truths. I think readers can take away a lot from Presley’s experience; especially the importance of family, loving yourself, knowing yourself vs letting others define you, forgiveness, and the second (or third) chance to get things right.
This was an emotional story, but in the best way. There are moments that are difficult and Ms. Michaels handles them with grace. If you are looking for a story about a heroine who is stronger than she thinks and has a second chance at true love, definitely read Say You’ll Stay.
Loved the characters and the story-
I love the storyline. The characters were amazing. Good read!!
Excellent read.
Awesome book!!
I enjoyed reading it and can’t wait to start the next one in the series.
Both the plot and the characters in this novel are interesting and well developed. I found the characters realistically complex, and the development of the plot justified. One of the better reads in this genre.
It kept your interest with its various twists n turns, I almost quit reading from the very start as it has a very sad beginning…..but truly gets better from there!
I could not leave the book alone. Very enthrawling!
Loved it.
Excelent read
Couldn’t put it down.
Can’t wait to read the next book. Great characters!
Ok story, although it did drag through the center. A slow read.
It is long and convoluted with lots of sex scenes. It is also very good.
Zachery & Presley were amazing. No love story is ever successful with having gone through their struggle. Corinne represented this story, the characters very gracefully and beautifully. I loved it.
Presley was living a content & happy life with her husband and 2 boys. Until one unimaginable event shatters the life she thought was perfect. After her husband leaves her with a financial mess, she has no choice but to move back to her childhood home in the town that’s plagued her with painful memories. Memories that trigger her anger at the boy who broke her heart and left her behind to pursue his baseball dream without her. Only he’s no longer a boy playing baseball. He’s now a full grown man who has never stopped loving Presley and is determined to win her & her boys over.
Presley has held onto her hurt and anger towards Zach for years. He was supposed to be the one she would grow old with forever. But they both made decisions when they were young which altered their future. Now that they are back in the same town, can they both leave the past behind to see if true love does conquer all?
This was a great read about a single mother coming to terms with the consequences of what her husband did & hid from her and trying to find a way to move on. She is wary to let Zach back in, as she is still picking up the pieces of her old life & helping her sons adjust to their new life. Zach realizes this is their second shot and he’s determined to show Presley and the boys to take a leap of faith with him. Another amazing read from this author!
If you love a sweet, small town romance or a wonderful second chance romance then Say You’ll Stay is the perfect book for you! It is the perfect combination of beautiful writing, memorable characters and a lovely storyline!
