Fate can be your best friend, or your worst enemy.
In my case, it has been both.
When fate was kind, I found a woman to love with all my heart. When fate was cruel, she was torn from me soon after the birth of our daughter. Losing her turned my world upside down.
For twelve years, I could barely function. I had no sense of purpose. Oh, but fate wasn’t done with me yet.
I’d made a promise … no sense of purpose. Oh, but fate wasn’t done with me yet.
I’d made a promise to a dying friend in Afghanistan. I vowed to find the sister he’d never known.
In searching for someone else, I found my heart again, but this time the fight for my life begins. And by my life, I mean my heart, the one that’s been frozen in my chest for the past twelve years. It found a reason to beat again.
But, fate wasn’t quite as kind as I hoped. For me, life and love had never been simple. There was no reason for that to change now.
This guitar-strumming man will have to turn on the charm for love to find its way and for me to truly live again.

This book is full of raw emotions. Wasn’t sure I was going to enjoy reading it after seeing some of the reviews. However I LOVED it. Couldn’t wait to see how it would play out. That’s a real positive for me. I haven’t read any of Kelly Moore’s books before but will be looking forward to reading more. Hope they’re all as good as this one!
David Keegan lost his wife that he absolutely adored 2 months after their daughter was born. David was already committed to the military and so his parents watched his daughter while he was gone. Keegan best friend was killed in action but asked Keegan to please find his twin sister that his father had not told him about until just before he passed away. Keegan promised be would. This was 12 years after Keegan’s wife was killed in a car accident on her way to a class reunion. Lots of twists and turns and an absolute awesome story! A standalone with an HEA! Awesome book! A must read!!
I thought I knew where this book was going when bam the author dumped us with a twist I didn’t see coming. This one is full of heartbreak and loses that will move you and make you fall in love with the hero. David Keegan has had his fair share of losses in the last 12 years from the death of his wife, having to leave his infant daughter to protect his country and losing friends along the way. I was moved by this story that I would recommend to others to read.
It’s amazing how fate can play such a large part in some people lives that they are just destined to find each other no matter their choices in life are.
Can you have the love of your life twice in your lifetime?
Can a missing part of you be found when you have not idea what you are looking for?
This book was so amazing!! Definitely one that pulled at my heart strings but in the best way. Keegan and Shay were both lovable characters and I was rooting for them from the beginning!
Say You Won’t Let Go (Epic Love Stories Book One) was another great read by Kelly Moore. Keegan is determined to do anything he can to find his best friend Wolfe’s twin sister. Wolfe died while they were deployed overseas and before he died, he asked Keegan to send his sister his belongings. Shay can’t remember anything from her past after a head injury many years ago. She’s sure that she isn’t Wolfe’s sister but has an attraction and connection to Keegan. I absolutely loved reading Wolfe and Shay’s story and can’t wait to read more by Kelly Moore. This book will take many twists and turns but it is a book everyone will love.
I was so captivated by this story and love the 2 main characters. Great storyline which meant I got through it quite quickly.
Great writing by Kelly. Thank you for another awesome story.
In the crazy world it’s nice to be transported into one of your books. Great Job
What a great book to start this series! These two definitely have that epic love story. I am enamored with each of their characters. Him for his never ending love and her for her openness to change. They way he tried to get her attention was so romantic. These two easily inspire me to be a better partner to my loved one. Get your heart ready because this will make it ache and then fill with joy.
I really enjoy the stories this author puts out. They are filled with all the feels…happy or sad and the in between. i did listen to this amazing story on audio. The narrator did a great job being the different voices for the characters. She was easy and a joy to listen to.
I did listen to this on audio. Miranda Mendius did a wonderful job.
Wonderful Story & Audible Listen Heartfelt & Captivating!
Say You Won’t Let Go
Epic Love Stories Series, Book 1
By: Kelly Moore
Narrated by: Miranda Mendius
I was thrilled to hear that Kelly Moore’s first “Epic Love Story” was available on Audible, I’ve listened to and loved the rest of the series and was hoping and waiting for this to be recorded for audio and it was definitely worth the wait. Kelly Moore is a gifted author and brilliant at creating love stories that grab not only your attention but grab you heart as well. Her stories and characters that are realistic and easy to relate to and “Say You Won’t Let Go” is not exception. I was swept into the story right from start, Captain Wolfe Rowen and Sgt David Keegan served together in the US Army, they were like brothers and when Wolfe got out he was going to find a sister he never knew he had. Wolfe gets killed while serving and Sgt. Keegan get injured. When Keegan returns home he reaches out to who he thinks is Wolfe’ sister, Shay Fox in California. I loved how everything plays out in this book, it is a beautiful, heartfelt story of fate, life and love. I loved all the twists and turns and where they lead back to. Thank you for another wonderful story and emotional rollercoaster ride.
I listened to the Audible edition, Miranda Mendius is a terrific narrator and voice artist. She does a great job portraying the characters and bringing them to life, giving each their own voice and personality. You could hear how much heart she puts into her work as she projects the characters emotions into her performance. She is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for this wonderful listen
Say You Won’t Let Go
Epic Love Stories Series, Book 1
By: Kelly Moore
Narrated by: Miranda Mendius
There are those times when you are pulled into a story and can’t stop listening just so you can find out how it will end. There is no reading the ending early with an audio book, and I am so glad I was able to take Keegan and Shea’s journey. Keegan lost his wife in a tragic accident, leaving him with a baby. He does his best by his daughter, leaving her with his parents while serving in the military. He never got over his first love, and now is shocked when Shea, an acquaintance of his comes to town to see she is his wife. Or is she? This is a story of love found and lost, coincidence and unusual circumstances. I was taken in by Keegan. His devotion to his wife, and now to Shea is so enveloping, I could feel his warmth and love. I was surprised, at times frustrated and loved Shea. It’s incredibly hard for her, making decisions, learning new things about herself and falling in love. It’s another epic love story, breaking your heart and putting it back together given to us by Kelly Moore.
Narration by Miranda Mendius is spot on. It’s my first listen by her and I think she nailed it. Moore’s Epic Love Stories Series is very emotional and Mendius delivers. Each voice is perfect for the personality, each inflection felt by the listener. I really enjoyed her performance.

Kelly has a way of ripping my heart to shreds and then piecing it back together as she tells her stories. Keegan and Shay tore me up and I absolutely fell in love with them. Keegan is everything you could want in a string and dependable man. Shay is everything that you could hope for. This story was beauty and pain and hope and love and i am changed after reading this!!
4 1/2 stars
This was a beautiful story with memorable characters and wonderfully written scenes. The characters are believable and relatable. The author is able to capture their attraction for each other and easily protray it to the reader. I especially loved their scenes with each other as I could feel the struggle as the emotions flowed. Great story
This is a totally engaging book. From the very beginning you feel Keegan’s complex emotions. He has lost both the love of his life and his best friend. Shay on the hand has very few emotions, she has a past she can’t remember and doesn’t open her heart to anyone. These two meet and there are too many coincidences to ignore even though Shay refuses to accept the possibility that there could be a chance they have met before. There is mystery and longing, love and heartbreak and a family to reunite.
This book is one that instantly drew me in. From the first paragraph, I just had to know what was going to happen.
Once we get into the meat of the story, I found it more and more difficult to put down. I had to know what Shay’s history was and if Keegan was right about who she might be.
The series is called Epic Love Stories, and in at least this case, it was so accurate. Having read this book, I look forward to reading the rest of the series, as well as more in general from this author.
If you like romance, especially with some kind of a twist, you will love this book.
Highly entertaining, sexy, fun, emotional and engaging romantic journey … filled with so much love and longing that you are thrilling by the heated passion that smolders to the surface…. Great reading!
A very good story about love and happiness, sadness, but touching to the heart. A book that’s so hard to put down. I love the Characters and the connection they have together. I love the story.
arc review I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. First let me tell you this story when you start plan on not sitting it down, because it has twist and turns . Awesome, beautiful and 10 stars of great writing. Now here is what it’s about while Keegan and Wolfe are at war Wolfe finds out he has a sister Keegan lost his wife prior to going to war but when Wolfe is killed in action it sets Keegan on a hunt for his sister. Shay owns with Paul foxy lyrics and years ago she lost her memory. So when Keegan writes her a letter it start fated plan with twist and turns.
This is an emotional second chance at love story that broke my heart and then put it back together again. This well written book has it all sadness, heartache, drama, humor, romance and so much more. Love Keegan and Shay and how perfect they were for each other. This is definitely a book I will re-read again.
Loved this story. The concept was one that I don’t come across often. I have a soft spot in my heart for military stories, and was looking forward to the read based on the prologue alone. The characters are fabulous. She’s a strong, independent woman looking for her place in the world. He’s a lonely man who knows to listen to his heart. It’s an emotional read. And I enjoyed every page.
Fate is mysterious in its ways & seems to have its hands on several parts of this story. Keegan lost his wife at a young age & then lost his best friend in the military. After he had healed from his own injuries & connected with his young daughter, he started searching for the sister that his best friend found out about just prior to his death.
Shay Fox’s life began 12 years ago. That’s when she was found wandering the mountainside with no memories. When Keegan reached out to her, she couldn’t believe that his story was true. Something drew the two of them together & she took a chance going to visit him. There’s no way she’s his friend’s sister. She’d remember if she had a brother, right?
What an emotional book! The reader is taken on a journey that twists & turns & doesn’t take you where it’s expected. As you read, you experience all of the emotions that Shay & David are feeling. I laughed, cried & grieved through various parts. The characters are well developed & the reader can identify with them from the beginning. There are some sex scenes but they are tastefully done.
This was such an amazing book. I really did not see this going the way it did. Kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time!
