A NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER! From New York Times Bestseller, Corinne Michaels, comes a new friends to lovers standalone romance. There’s no way I’ll fall for Wyatt Hennington. He can keep his Southern drawl, irresistible smile, and those pick-up lines all to himself. I made the mistake of sleeping with him not once, but twice. I’m not stupid enough to give him round three, especially after he … left me in the middle of the night so I could see myself out. I vow to return to Philadelphia and forget him. It proves easier said than done. When the doctor informs me I’m the winner of door prize number two, I put my life on hold and head back to Bell Buckle. Three months and if we can’t make this work, I’m gone. The problem is–when the cards are stacked against us, and I can’t bring myself to leave him, I’ll finally know if he truly loves me or if all my fears were real . . .

I’ve been waiting for this book since the first one came out and we saw bits and pieces of Wyatt in Say You’ll Stay. There is just something about him that I love and I fell even more in love with his character in Say You Want Me. Say’ You’ll Stay was one of my top reads of 2016 and now so is Say You Want Me.
Wyatt had me hooked on his character from the beginning, he’s sweet, charming and is full of sex appeal. He is just delightful, add in the cowboy factor and I was hooked. I learned so much more about his character and all the different things about him just made him even better. I wasn’t prepared for how utterly sweet he was going to be on his quest to win Angie. The man has some moves. I love how he is with Angie, that he’s himself and at home with her.
Angie is one fierce woman. She’s smart, successful, sassy, and oh so independent. She has this sass about her that just makes her so lovable and perfect for Wyatt, even though she fights it tooth and nail. She’s always had to be strong, learning the reasons why for this broke me. I hurt for her, but it makes you love her even more. Watching her fall for Wyatt was one of the sweetest parts to their story, because they both deserve to be happy and loved forever.
The twist to their story about killed me inside. My heart broke for them both over and over and over. You aren’t expecting it and it hurts. I wasn’t prepared for that curve ball and I’m not sure I’ve fully recovered from it. But, I’m happy with how their story ended. I can’t wait for Trent’s book. That will be one fun and interesting adventure I can’t wait for.
When Angie and Wyatt come together, it leaves them with a permanent reminder of their time together. What’s a woman to do? Give him a chance to do the right thing? Is Wyatt capable of giving her what she needs. Can they do this together?
This was a fabulous read! I loved Wyatt and Angie together. Talk about a hot couple, but what I loved about them is that they tackled their circumstances like real people would. There’s nothing fake or inauthentic about them together. I admit I wanted to smack Wyatt more than once, but he is a man, and men are prone to pissing us women off because the two genders are so different and handle things so differently.
I have the rest of this series on my Kindle, but this is the first one of the series that I’ve read so far. Now that I’ve tackled this one, and LOVED it, I am going to dive right into the others!
did not like it. slow moving deleted it
I am still swooning and I finished a day ago! Wyatt is….ahhhhh
4.5 STAR REVIEW
Oh, Corinne Micheals, you have broken me into a million little pieces with this book and Wyatt & Ang have put me back together.
What a beautifully, devastating and uplifting story. You have no idea what you are all heading into but be prepared to feel a gamut of emotions. Joy, happiness, devastation, hopelessness sadness , and love…. every onee of them have passed through my heart in the past 24 hours, yup – I read this book almost in one sitting. I may have even woken my husband with my sobs last night while reading.
Just a book that will seap into your heart and take a hold, have you gasping for air, fanning yourself, then smiling like a loon!!
Perfection Corinne Michaels
Corinne does it again, oh boy. Love those Hennington boys. Wyatt is a cowboy, a thoughtful, protective man taught well by his mother how to take care of women. He hasn’t settled down with one woman, hasn’t found his match quite yet. When his best friend, and brother’s fiancé Presley’s best friend Angie comes around he is drawn to her. Angie has a bakery she loves but no one really left for her in Philadelphia. Wyatt and Angie are testing the waters together, he vows to win her over. A tragedy really tests the two of them. Beautiful heartbreaking story LOVE LOVE LOVE

I love the Hennington brothers and add the Corinne Michaels writing to the mix then you have a winner. I loved Say You’ll Stay very much and the introduction of Angie and Wyatt definitely fueled my interest in them as a couple.
I was surprised by the first chapter and what led Angie to seek out Wyatt. Because of their new circumstances, I already had my mind set on what was going to happen throughout the story. I was right about most of it but that didn’t bother me at all because Corinne Michaels writing was so strong and addictive. The same can be said about these fabulous characters. The whole Hennington family was the heart of this story. I liked how easily they all embraced Angie and welcomed her into this loving family. Presley and Angie’s friendship was once again extraordinary. They truly are sisters even though they’re not blood related. They are loyal and supportive no matter what. I love this sister romance because they also added some humor to the story.
Now let me get to the main focus of this story. Wyatt Hennington. What a man! Wow! He wooed me and I swooned big time. His determination and patience towards Angie was beautiful. He definitely was a fixer and the strong one of the three brothers, so it was exciting to feel him struggle when tragedy happened. Cause he sure as hell was down for the count but then I saw a different side of Angie that only made me love her more too. Now she was fighting for the both of them and their love. She was a great character although she was very ambivalent about what she wanted in life, but again who could blame her when growing up with a family like hers.
This series is definitely my favorite by Corinne Michaels. There’s so much love and story poured into these characters and it’s jumping off of these pages. I seriously hope we get Trent’s story cause I’m addicted to the Hennington brothers.
I’m not sure why I hadn’t read Say You Want Me by Corinne Michaels before. I loved Say You’ll Stay, as well as everything else written by this author, but for some reason, the rest of this series stayed on my TBR list. I’m so happy that I finally took the plunge!
Wyatt is the youngest of the Hennington boys. And he has had feelings for his brother’s girlfriend- his best friend- since they were young. Now that Presley and Zach are back together, it’s time for him to move on for good. Presley’s best friend comes down to visit from Philadelphia, and the sparks between Angie and Wyatt are immediate. But she goes home, only to discover that she’s pregnant. She must tell Wyatt. He wants her to move down to Bell Buckle and raise their child together, but Angie’s life is not there, but she does decide to give it a few months to see what may happen.
I really loved this story and the characters! I felt an instant connection with Angie, as she is a strong, independent, and single woman. I also understood her feelings that as she got older, the less she felt the pull to have children. Wyatt was exactly what you would expect of these Hennington boys- sexy, strong-willed, and hard to resist.
I highly reccommend! (Now I’m off to start Say I’m Yours…)
Here we go yet again. Every single time I pick up a Corinne Michaels’ book, I can’t put it down. It consumes me. And just went I thought we might not get the typical angst that she throws at us in her books, I was slapped so hard in the face that I’m still feeling it. And that right there is exactly why Corinne is one of my top must read authors. I always FEEL during her books. Sometimes I’m happy, sometimes I’m sad and a lot of times I’m pissed off and I love every minute of it.
Say You Want Me can be read as a standalone but I will tell you that we do first the main characters in Say You’ll Stay. I’ve been waiting for their story as soon as I finished the last book.
Wyatt Hennington is exactly what you picture as a Southern Gentleman. He has that mouthwatering drawl, sexy looks, perfect manners and and one of the most loyal people you’ll ever meet. However, along with that sexy package comes small town rumor mills, leaving him with a bit of a playboy reputation. He’s never paid any attention to it before but now that he has his mind set on one particular woman, he’s got to make sure she knows the truth.
Angie knew what she was getting into when she spent the night in Wyatt’s bed back when her best friend got married to his brother. She wasn’t looking for a relationship and after the way that romp ended, she wanted nothing to do with Wyatt. Fate had other plans, though. Now forced to face Wyatt again, Angie is a bit of a mess. Her life has turned upside down and she has the biggest decisions of her life to make. Will those decisions include Wyatt?
Let me start with Wyatt because I’ve loved him since I first met him. He was funny and sexy and I wanted to know so much more about him. I had no idea just how swoon worthy he was going to be. He has this cocky self confidence that just melted me but what really pushed me over the edge was just how loyal and loving he is. He is the epitome of the nice guy. Southern charm and big loving heart? Umm…yes, please! Where do I sign up for one of those? I also enjoyed the chase. How hard Wyatt went after Angie and everything he did to proof to her that she’s exactly what he needs.
“I love watching your walls crumble. I love watching your reasons diminish. I’m really going to enjoy it when you finally realize just how much you want me.”
I also loved Angie. She’s strong willed, feisty, intelligent and fiercely independent. She definitely gives Wyatt a run for his money. Yet, she has that vulnerable side to her that really makes you open up to her. When you see her hard exterior crack and Wyatt start to edge his way into her heart, you can’t help but root for her. She’s just as loyal and loving as Wyatt is and the two of them couldn’t be more perfect for each other.
Overall, I loved this book. Another great Corinne Michaels’ read that will give you all kinds of feels. If you are looking for strong, swoon worthy characters mixed with Southern Charm and Corinne’s signature angst, then you don’t want to miss out on this book!
This was a beautiful story. I definitely recommend this book, this series and this author.
Love, love, love Wyatt and Angie’s story. A no strings attached way of life turns into a lifetime love. Their journey was so sweet and poignant. So worth the read! I can’t wait for the next one! Love these Hennington men!
OMG Second book with the Hennington Brothers. Next up is Wyatt and Angie. Of all the Hennington boys, Wyatt is my favorite. You meet Wyatt and Angie in Say you’ll Stay. Angie is Preston’s best friend. When Angie meets Wyatt, the chemistry is off the charts. This book will make you grab the nearest box of tissues while saying WHY WHY!! Stay with it because of course in the end Corinne Michael’s will give you the HEA these two so deserve!!
To say I love this book is an understatement. It was so freaking good! Angie and Wyatt’s chemistry, banter and love made them an easy couple to fall in love with. But the situation they face as a couple is what puts them on a pedestal for me. This book made me laugh, cry and many moments felt as though my heart had been ripped out. Corinne has that way about her writing where you are balling one moment then laughing another. Wyatt is dreamy and everything a good man should be. I love him! This book will not disappoint and chances are you will pull an all-nighter like I did. Such a Fantastic read!
Wyatt has to be my favorite Hennington brother. I could not put this book down. As I turned every page I feel more in love with the characters.
This book!! This is why I love this author so hard!
Some people think all love stories are the same, this book proves there is always more!
Wyatt!! I shamelessly love Wyatt Hennington!
Wyatt had me at hello…back in Say You’ll Stay!
Angie is a stronger woman than I would have been, while she got to know Wyatt.
I cried happy tears, I laughed out loud, I ugly cried sad tears, and I was knocked on my ass swooning at Wyatt’s love for Angie!
I have no shame in saying I read this book 3 times (YES, it’s that good!) and I know I will read it again!
Read this book and fall in love with my favorite cowboy!
I’m absolutely speechless. Wyatt Hennington was the ultimate BBF, seriously so in love with him right now that I’m at a loss for words.
You definitely do not have to read Say You’ll Stay in order to get this book (but seriously why would you not read it)… but Wyatt’s personality and fierce determination was introduced in Zach’s book…and gave you an insight on why he is the way he is now, which is giving, loving, loyal- which is a huge characteristic of him, and funny. He’s the entire package of a BBF, and you cannot help but fall instantly in love with him. He’s not perfect, has his flaws, but owns up to them when he’s wrong. Which makes him perfect for me in every way. Seriously perfect.
We meet Angie in Say You’ll Stay, as Presley’s best friend and sister-in-law. She comes to Bell Buckle to visit, and has a hidden instant attraction to Wyatt… this is where it starts. A year or so later she comes back to Bell Buckle and meets up with Wyatt again, and it starts all over again. These two cannot get enough of one another…and so it starts the beginning of their relationship. There are twists and turns – for reasons I cannot say (I promise it’s good) – and then tragedy changes things. Or does it.
Angie is so guarded when it comes to expressing her feelings, but we know how she feels. She has a crappy mother , a brother who died, and lots of non existent relationships with men that cannot give her what she really needs. She gives Wyatt a few months to figure things out, and during that time Wyatt is just Wyatt… not truly romantic but has the ability to fiercely expel his feelings in other ways. They are just meant to be together.
I cannot express to you the feelings that I overcame during the reading of this book. If I thought I loved Wyatt before, it doesn’t even come close to how I feel right now. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book, and I promise I’m not a giver of 5***** reviews in haste, but this was worthy of much more if I could. I promise you will love this story. It’s a must read and I’m sure it will be a best seller just like Say You’ll Stay.
I have been reading Corinne Michaels since her first release and with each book you see why she is such an amazing writer. Her words pull you in and just captivate you. Her words filled me with hope, broke my heart and then left me with a heart full of love. Her writing gives so much to her readers. The emotions she evokes from her readers are felt with every turn of the page. Say You Want Me is no different.
In Say You Want Me we get Wyatt Hennington in all his glory. He is the guy everyone can count on. He is the first one there and the last one standing when you need his help. The only woman he ever loved, loved another. But nothing could get him down. He enjoys the company of woman. He never makes promises, but gives them memorable nights. He is happy and content. Or so he thought.
Angie loves her life. She has everything a woman could want. She is happy. She has a successful business. Dates men, because really, who wants to be tied down to one? Loves city life. She would not change a single thing. What else could she ask for, right?
But while visiting her best friend and ex-sister-in-law in her new home and life, Angie meets Wyatt and the attraction is mutual and off the charts. Both enjoying life, give in and have a couple of fun nights. But after leaving her after one of those nights without so much as a goodbye, Angie decides she is done. Until a little surprise changes her life forever.
And so begins the courtship of Wyatt and Angie, which is one you need to read to experience. This book in many ways is so different than Say You’ll Stay, however, it still wrings emotions and angst, just in a very different way.
Wyatt and Angie’s story is a very emotional one, but it also has some very lighthearted moments. Watching these two get to know each other is both enjoyable and in some moments, very hilarious laugh out loud moments. But it is also very sweet and tender.
I enjoyed watching them interact with each other and their family and friends. Though life through them quite the curve ball, they are trying to make the best of it. But what happens when another, very unexpected curve ball is thrown their way? Can they survive? Do they really want the same things?
This was in a way a story about second chances at life. What do you do when you get what you never knew you wanted? And how two people can be meant for each other even when it seems everything around you is disagreeing. Say You Want Me was an emotional, sweet love story worth reading.
Say You Want Me from Corinne Michael was a 5-star read.
Happy reading!
Really enjoyed reading this book. Love the writing and story. Corinne’s words are truly amazing. Love all of her books.
Wyatt Hennington is everything! Officially my favorite . Angie oh Angie I adore you. You spitfire, fiesty and strong. She is independant and has settled in her ways she is happy or so she thought. Oh Wyatt and yes I mean OH WYATT . This man is walking talking perfection. He oozes sexy and he tops it off with a Cowboy hat. We met Wyatt in Say You’ll Stay and I fell then. A sweet, sexy cowboy with a heart of gold and a dash of humor to keep you on your toes. Fantastic writing, great plot development and a love story that both breaks your heart and puts it right back together.
I love Wyatt and Angie! Corinne does what she does best….She brought the boom! Just when you think maybe these characters will come through without having their hearts tattered, mangled, and barely beating she drops a plot twist that will bring you to your knees begging for more. I cried, cheered, and cussed for these characters and at Corinne Michaels. This woman has an ability to touch your soul and toy with your heart with her beautifully written words. Love Love Love
