A NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER! From New York Times Bestseller, Corinne Michaels, comes a new friends to lovers standalone romance. There’s no way I’ll fall for Wyatt Hennington. He can keep his Southern drawl, irresistible smile, and those pick-up lines all to himself. I made the mistake of sleeping with him not once, but twice. I’m not stupid enough to give him round three, especially after he … left me in the middle of the night so I could see myself out. I vow to return to Philadelphia and forget him. It proves easier said than done. When the doctor informs me I’m the winner of door prize number two, I put my life on hold and head back to Bell Buckle. Three months and if we can’t make this work, I’m gone. The problem is–when the cards are stacked against us, and I can’t bring myself to leave him, I’ll finally know if he truly loves me or if all my fears were real . . .

You know when you start a book and you think you have every last thing figured out? That is exactly where I was with Say You Want Me. Guys, I was so wrong. This book is chock full of the unexpected. And I loved it so much more, because of this.
Wyatt and Angie, as we all know, have something that brews between the two of them. It is heady, crazy, and down right lust-filled. Beyond that it is a lot like a love-hate relationship, where they push and pull. Angie and Wyatt are equally bullheaded with so many similarities. Only those similarities end at Angie wanting to have the independent lifestyle, and Wyatt is a wild child, built on the no strings attached motto.
This book starts off roughly two months after these two had their last go around. It starts off thick, and stays that way for most of the book. There is a lot of light, filled with swoon, laughter, and OMG, moments. The swoon moments are littered throughout, and had me literally fanning myself. Wyatt is delicious, and witty, but perfect too. I loved the fact that Angie is a little on the reserved side in this book. (which makes her story 100xs more powerful) We see her grow, so much! There is a lot of growth in Wyatt too. We get a different side of Wyatt in this book, too. We see him for who he is, not through the eyes of someone else. These two run deep within each other, and how could they not? I mean, Presley is Angie’s BFF, and that is how she “got to know” (I’ll use that phrase loosely) Wyatt. These two have so much going for them; from bedded bliss, to their dysfunctional friendship, to the moment where reality sets in. And slowly as their story begins to unravel, and the heaviness of every situation weighs down on them, will they be able to shoulder what life may throw at them? Their relationship can end up in two ways; disaster or bliss. I had my bet riding on Bliss….because Wyatt!!
This book was about trial and error. Love and hate. Beginnings and ends. It is filled with so much hope and want. It has everything that can make you feel and see someone for who they are, not what their reputation is. If you’re looking for a story that gives you the feels and has all of the swoon, please pick this book up.
I have to say first off that I adore everything that Corinne Michaels has written….having said that, HOLY SEXY-AS-SIN COWBOY, Batman!!! Wyatt Hennington abso-fricken-lutely OWNS me like no other book boyfriend ever has!! This is THE best book Ms Michaels has written to date and trust me, I don’t say that lightly because Liam Dempsey from Consolation/Conviction WAS the ruler of my heart before Wyatt!
We met Wyatt in Say You’ll Stay as he is Zach Hennington’s younger brother and Angelina (Angie, Angel) Benson is Presley Benson (soon-to-be Hennington’s) former sister-in-law and BFF. The attraction was undeniable, but NOTHING prepared me for the insane, panty melting chemistry between these two! It was off-the-charts sexy and WHEN you read this book, I would strongly urge you to have a few things handy; 1. a box or two of tissues and 2. a fan or an air conditioner to cool you down!! I would also not recommend you read this book in public (hysterical sobbing and/or laughing out loud makes people wonder if you’re crazy….who knew??!!)
Corinne Michaels has written a love story for the ages….I wish I could give it more than 5 *****, it deserves SOOOOOO much more (I would give it 100 ***** if I could!) I can’t wait for the next book in the series…until then, you’ll find me with Wyatt in Bell Buckle 😉
