Say You Love Me is the fourth book in the Eva Rae Mystery series by Willow Rose. Once again, Eva Rae answers her phone and things go downhill from there. This time, the call is from her father, someone she hasn’t seen in 36 years. The same person who kidnapped her sister. Apparently, a brother she never knew she had, Adam, has been shot and arrested by the police. In her spare time, Eva is searching for a serial killer. Oh, and there’s hurricane Damian on the way. Lot’s happening!
I’m going to have to stop reading Willow Rose books because every one of them has way too many characters for me to track. Plus, this one ended with a slight cliffhanger, which I don’t like, + the love story was a bit far-fetched.
Truly a dysfunctional family, but enjoyed reading it very much!
Loved it
Good mystery, well written with plausible characters and plot
Haven’t read first three books in this series, but from reading just this one, I don’t like the main character. But, she does have a ton of baggage. Have first in series, will try it.
If it’s Willow’s. it’s a winner!
I love Willow Rose!! Have never read a bad book!!!

One of my favorite authors.
hard to put down….
Good follow-up.
Read in one setting
Very good read. Fast paced. I enjoy reading all of this authors books.
This review is for the audio book.
I enjoyed this book but why does she have to make the bad guys to evil? It’s enough to make you never want to leave your house. The story jumps around in time and character so you have to make sure you concentrate on the story but it all does come to gather into one terrifying nightmare. The characters (well the good guys) are likeable and it is a good mix between the investigation and a complicated home life. This is book four and I would say you probably need to start with book to keep up with everything that is going on in the series but it isn’t totally necessary. Off to start the next book and see what other twist the author has in store for the character, one thing for sure if want be what I am expecting.
Eva Rae gets a phone call from her estranged father to say the brother she never knew she had, was lying in a hospital bed after carrying out a school shooting and as a former FBI agent he needs her to prove they have got the wrong boy. Reluctant to go at first Eva Rae leaves her family behind to meet the boy before he spends the rest of his life in prison. When she gets there things don’t add up and she soon finds herself looking into other case and deaths, cases the police believe she is making up. Can she convince the police to take her seriously before another life is lost. With the storm of the century on it way and a complicated home life to deal with Dan she prove the boy she doesn’t know is innocent?
I liked the narrator and thought she did a good job of building up the tension and suspense this story needs.
I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
The first half of this book was terribly slow, and there was even some clumsy language. When it picked up though, it really picked up! Eva Rae figured out what the killer was doing and the book began rolling at breakneck speed! I’m glad I stuck with it. I have enjoyed this series and will keep reading it.
Eva Rae delivered again! Quite a bunch of unexpected twists and turns in this book. Amazing how Willow Rose dealt with the Chad/Matt dilemma. Sure didn’t see that one coming!
I did enjoy this book, just not as much as the previous book in the series. The characters are believable. Some of the initial assumptions by Eva Rae in her profile of the killer seemed confusing at first but after that point it is very consistent. I’d like to see Eva Rae show more backbone in her personal life though. I’m looking forward to the next book. Well done Willow.
