One perfect kiss just turned my upside down world right again. I might as well have “Divorced” tattooed to my forehead. The last time I was single, my brother and his best friend were still teenage twerps who couldn’t drive let alone drink. The joke’s on me. Ryan grew up hot. And his perfect kiss just saved my life.Teasing eyes. Tempting lips. Muscles that could stop traffic. No wonder he’s a soap … life.
Teasing eyes. Tempting lips. Muscles that could stop traffic.
No wonder he’s a soap opera star.
My voluptuous curves melted against his hard abs, and the next thing I knew, I was pregnant.
My little brother’s gonna murder him, but only if he finds out.
I’ve never been good at keeping secrets, and Ryan’s doing all he can to pry this new one out of me.
What happens if I tell?
The only thing worse than losing my family would be losing him.
Has love always been a four letter word?

A well written book with an interesting story line. The characters are strong and the story flows quickly and smoothly. I enjoyed reading this story.

I liked Gwen and Ryan’s storyline but there were a few issues with grammar that made it a little hard to keep up. Also Ryan was a little immature. Overall it was a good book. I liked it even more on the second read through. I thought the secondary characters brought depth to the story but there were times I wanted to punch Gwen’s family, or some of them anyway.

This is a hot, steamy older woman/younger man, brother’s best friend Valentine’s Day romance. Gwen and Ryan have known each other for years and he’s always had a thing for her. Now that she’s back home after her divorce he’s not letting her get away again. This is a sweet and steamy story and I loved the chemistry between Gwen and Ryan. This was my first book by this author and I look forward to reading more by her in the future.
Gwen just came back home after 12 years living in San Francisco. She had married her high school sweetheart Craig, but it was not a good marriage. He degraded and abused her, but she had her own restaurant and bakery that helped her live through it all. She knew he cheated and after getting evidence she got the divorce. Then she sold her restaurant and bakery and at 30 yrs old she moved back home. She is estranged from her brother Tommy, but his best friend Ryan wants her. Ryan has wanted Gwen since he was 12 yrs old. He is 25 yrs old now and he plans to have her. This is a great story with funny bits and very serious subject matter too. The chemistry between Gwen and Ryan is steaming hot, hot, hot!!! This has a very happy ending.

Gwen is getting over a bad marriage so she is trying to get herself together. Ryan finally sees his time to make it with Gwen who he has been crushing on since he was about 12. These two had chemistry but they both needed a reality check. There is quite a bit going on, even without the complication of a baby or their age difference (which wasn’t that big of a deal). At times I found Ryan immature yet other times he could step up to the plate and be the man. At times I felt this story just dropped information that would have been helpful, especially between Ryan and Gwen. Loved the premise of this story but too many gaps had me wishing for better interaction and hashing out a few more issues.
