“Outstanding—starts with a bang and gets tenser and tenser. Say Nothing shows Parks is a quality writer at the top of his form.”—Lee Child“Terrific book. Truly terrific. Tension throughout and tears at the end.”—Sue Grafton Judge Scott Sampson doesn’t brag about having a perfect life, but the evidence is clear: A prestigious job. A loving marriage. A pair of healthy children. Then a phone call … pair of healthy children. Then a phone call begins every parent’s most chilling nightmare. Scott’s six-year-old twins, Sam and Emma, have been taken. The judge must rule exactly as instructed in a drug case he is about to hear. If he refuses, the consequences for the children will be dire.
For Scott and his wife, Alison, the kidnapper’s call is only the beginning of a twisting, gut-churning ordeal of blackmail, deceit, and terror. Through it all, they will stop at nothing to get their children back, no matter the cost to themselves…or to each other.
“Complications and twists build to an unexpected climax that is both perfect and gut-wrenching.”—Library Journal (starred review)
“Grips the reader from the get-go and doesn’t let up until the final twist.”—Associated Press

I absolutely fell in love with these characters and their storyline! It was so fast paced and I could NOT put it down until I was finished. Bravo Brad Parks! Amazing…simply amazing.
Suspense throughout the book. Had no clue the book would end this way
If there were a 6 star this book would get it. One of the best reads ever.
Gripping.
I really liked this book. It had an original plot and was very realistic! Great characters. I am an avid reader so when something catches my attention, I must read the book. This book started with a bang and just kept pounding! The plot twists had me guessing who the bad guys were, but I never guessed until it was revealed! Way to go! This is why I like thrillers, for the thrills!
This book had very good character development, with several edge your seats, twists and turns. All the subplots are tied in with the main plot. The reader’s attention is kept with fresh hints and questions up until the end. The writing is easy to read sparing the reader of lengthy and tedious descriptors. Definitely, a book worth reading.
Good well-developed story. Captures your attention immediately!
This is a grand slam of a book! High quality writing, plottong, pacing and characterization. You can’t go wrong with Brad Parks.
Great book! The young twins of a federal judge are kidnapped then he starts getting messages ordering him how to rule on specific cases in exchange for their safety. Will he violate the oath he took as a judge and make the rulings requested and if he does can he on long enough before he’s removed from the bench to make the final ruling necessary to save the second twin?
Which case is so important? Who’s behind the kidnapping? Who stands to gain by the final ruling he’ll be ordered to deliver? And will the kidnappers hold up their end of the bargain if he holds up his? Does he have any aces up his sleeve? He doesn’t know whom he can trust; everyone seems to give him reasons to doubt them, even those closest to him. Talk about tension, this book delivers!
When I hit the halfway mark I was so invested I went into the closet with my kindle and didn’t stop reading until I was done–at that point, I was in tears. What a story!
Fast paced and surprising at every turn.
5 stars. Have recommended it to my fellow nook readers
It was great. I really enjoyed reading it
Loved this book. I couldn’t put it down.
This is a page turner from the opening on. Parks has an easy to read style but his prose is packed with suspense and surprises. This is a great read.
Completely unpredictable and challenging to predict how I would respond to the treachery!
Excellent book! Enjoyed it!
It wastwisted and I did not expect the ending
I couldn’t put it down. The ending was a total surprise.
A strong entry by popular author. Parks knows how to twist a plot, and hit all those emotional buttons to keep a reader reading. However, some of his rationalizations were weak or uninformed and the book on the whole was about five chapters too long.
SAY NOTHING is tremendously satisfying, packed with engaging characters and surprising plot twists and a furious build of tension until its gut-wrenching pay-off.
