Wonderful, fun, and captivating book. I love Saxon so much 🙂
Leigh had been working on the underwater project and found out that her boss had been funneling money from the project and saying the work was his and making it look like she ha s done wrong. So she took the machine down. Saxon had been in hibernation when he felt his mate wake him in his pod because she was in distress. Then when he saved her all heck broke loose. In the process of trying to convince Leigh that she was his mate and that she needed to go back to his planet with him they had to fight an army of evil men under her boss that would stop at nothing to get him or her or the there from his planet that were with him seeking their mates. Interesting and exciting read

This Book 1 in the Shared Survival Series is an exceptionally-written story with amazing characters that are strong, powerful and arrogant. These characters are well crafted and you feel as if you know them and feel their emotions. She wanted to design and pilot underwater craft to explore the deepest depths of the ocean. When something goes wrong, her calls for help awake the alien from the planet of Revaris, who had come to Earth to find a mate and has been in an induced sleep after his travel pod malfunctioned. This story has action, adventure, twists, turns, chemistry and love. This is a must read story in a great series by an amazing Author

The writing and editing of this novel was super clean, with few if any typos that I caught in the ARC version of the manuscript. The world building was okay, though I found it very disappointing that the overwhelming majority of this novel took place on contemporary Earth instead of an alien world. The characterization was pretty rough, with the heroine being entirely unlikeable due to a combination of rank incompetence and dumb impulsivity. Also, the heroine and writing overall was super vulgar with a lot of potty humor, which did not appeal to me at all. I have a subtle, dry sense of humor, and so a lot of the jokes in this novel made me cringe instead of laugh. The development of the romantic relationship was okay, but I felt sorry for the hero being stuck with this heroine for life. The plot and pacing was quite exciting, and if I had been more emotionally invested in these characters probably would have been quite interesting. There was little angst in this novel and very high stakes, which is typically one of my preferred narrative structures for a romance novel. This novel used the Fated Mates trope and a variation on the Mars Needs Women trope. The plot and pacing rated four stars. The world building rated three stars. The characterization and development of the romantic relationship rated two stars. The combined score of this novel is therefore three stars. This novel ends on a Happy Ever After ending instead of a cliffhanger, which I would normally consider a big plus, but I felt sorry that the hero was stuck with this woman for life. I would recommend this novel to readers who enjoy sci-fi romances largely set on contemporary Earth, and who don’t mind potty humor. I do not plan on buying a keeper copy of this novel, and I am not sure I will read anything else by this author.

Leigh wanted to design and pilot underwater craft to explore the deepest depths of the ocean. When something goes wrong, her calls for help awake the alien, Saxon, from the planet of Revaris, who had come to Earth to find a mate and has been in an induced sleep after his travel pod malfunctioned.
The connection between Leigh and Saxon is immediate. But when they reach land, someone wants them – dead or alive – and they must fight together to find freedom and time for their HEA.
I liked the fast-paced action scenes, but the cat stuff was just weird. The story line was good and I liked the characters. Will they escape from the danger they find themselves in? Will they return to Revaris, Saxon’s home planet? Grab your copy and enjoy how the story unfolds.
This is a great sci-fi romance! I enjoyed reading it… It has romance and adventure, with wonderful new characters.. Can’t wait to hear their stories!

Good book for the start of a new series. There is adventure, action, mystery, and romance. The main characters had an instant connection and I liked that a lot. There is turmoil as when they make it on land they run into someone who wants them dead or alive. You need to read to find out if they make it out alive and if Saxon ever hears from his home planet Revaris again. Will his people come searching for him? Waiting for next book.
