Bishop’s Snowy Leap1.Sawyer2.Chandler3.Wesley4.Gunner5.Dwayne6.QuincyRaven Addington was happy with her life the way it was. She and her daughter, Molly, were doing just fine on their own, despite what her mother had to say about it. Merriam, Raven’s mother, never had anything nice to say about anything, so why should now be any different.Sawyer Bishop had turned in his notice at the police … had turned in his notice at the police force. No matter how bad he needed the money, he wasn’t about to let a hot-headed partner make him a mark for an early grave. His parents needed his help on the farm, so he was happy to leave the force.
Sawyer was supposed to be on desk duty, but they were shorthanded, so he took the call that came in from the 911 dispatch. It would be his last, and then he would be a poor but free man.
When Sawyer arrived on the scene, it was bad. The poor woman had been beaten until she was unrecognizable and barely breathing. Although he didn’t know her personally, he knew Raven Addington was extremely wealthy, and that bothered him more than he cared to admit. Being a Bengal tiger, he knew from her scent that she was his mate. Her station in life was so far above his, he didn’t think it was going to work. But when she coded in the hospital, he had to make a quick decision and hope it wouldn’t come back to bite him in the ass later.

I’m a little late to the party with this series but I enjoyed ‘Sawyer’, the first book in ‘Bishop’s Snowy Leap’. Sawyer Bishop is working his last day at the police department before returning home to help his parents when a call comes in that he needs to go out on. Raven Addington had been attacked in the parking lot of the business she owned and was left bleeding profusely from her head. As soon as Sawyer arrives, he recognizes immediately that Raven is his mate. The plot runs deep in this storyline and some of the revelations were surprising, to say the least. Sawyer and Raven were perfect for each other and Raven’s daughter Molly was just the frosting on the cake. This was such a great story and I can’t wait to read ‘Chandler’ next.
. Great first book in fantastic series
Sawyer and Raven’s story was okay for me. I got a bit annoyed reading constantly about how Sawyer didn’t think he was good enough for Raven, just because she had money. This is a story line that is a constant in many books and it just gets on my nerves.
Sawyer Bishop is ready for a change. After working in the police force away from his family and constantly getting stuck with the new guys who seem to have no regards for their lives, much less his own, he’s done. Besides his family needs his help more on the farm more than anything. But on his last shift he answers a 911 dispatch that will change how he thought his life was going to go once he left the police force.
Raven Addington is happy with how her life is. She has a grandmother who loves her for who she is and her daughter is smart and healthy. Even though Raven’s mother believes she’s soiled the Addington name by having a child out of wedlock, Raven couldn’t care less. When Raven is attacked after leaving work one night, her life gets turned upside down when she’s confronted by Sawyer Bishop and informed she’s his mate.
Raven doesn’t need a man, but the thought of not having Sawyer seems to hurt Raven even more. Plus he seems to have no problems sticking up to her mom and protecting Molly (Raven’s daughter) when Raven’s mother tries to talk down to them. But how far is Merriam willing to go to “protect” the Addington name and her position?
