In Kristen Proby’s newest release, Savor You, this standalone novel takes you back into the delicious world of Fusion for the long awaited story of Mia and Cameron.
Cameron, a drop-dead gorgeous celebrity chef who happens to be Mia’s ex-husband from cooking school, has been selected to be the first chef to face off against Mia in her new TV series. This forces her to confront all of her demons about her self-image in an accelerated rate that leaves her vulnerable, feisty, and ready to carve into someone with one of her precious cooking knives.
One of the brilliant themes I’m noticing about Ms. Proby’s work this year is that she’s facing difficult women’s issues head on and translating them beautifully into realistic stories that pull at your heart strings. Her heroines are incredibly relatable to issues we see woman of today go through; in this case due to Mia being a knock out plus size woman who constantly deals with society’s image of perfect for Cameron.
Keep writing strong, beautiful women who set the world on fire, Ms. Proby and I’m certain your readership will continue to savor them. Just like they will this book!

My Review:
I can see what all the fuss was about. But I was horrified to realize I have lived this long without ever indulging in the hedonistic delight of reading a Kristen Proby book. But I have rectified that error in judgment and am thrilled to report the experience was everything I imagined it would be and more. Her writing was a fun, cleverly amusing, and tasty treat. The storylines were entertaining, well-paced, and a pleasure to engage in. I adored her quirky yet relatable characters and enjoyed their clever banter and wit as much as the sweet and sexy second chance romance. But the delectable descriptions of the food had me salivating and smacking my lips as I read. I may have picked up a pound or ten from her delicious words alone.
Oh Camden, Camden, Camden!!! Wow what a book! Savor you is the final book of the Fusion series by Kristen Proby.
Let me start off and say that I loved Mia and Camden from the first page of this book. Mia is a sassy perfectionist that avoids being touched by most. Professional Chef and part owner of Seduction, a restaurant that is geared toward couples with an aphrodisiac menu created by Mia, is co-owned by Mia’s friends Addie, Riley, Kat and Cami. Together the girls have built a very successful restaurant.
Camden is a celebrity chef that has been working in front of the camera for years. He’s cast for an upcoming series in which he and Mia will compete while making different recipes. The problem?? Well, they have chemistry and a past history that only the two of them know about.
This book was absolutely sensational and may be my favorite Kristin Proby book of all times. It bled romance, family and was just sizzling. The chemistry between this couple is off the charts and I dare you NOT to fall in love with Camden. He is empathetic and patient with Mia and he shows his love for her on every page of this book!
Having Cami, Riley, Kat and Addie- along with their spouses appear in this book is always an added bonus and one thing I love about Kristen’s books. It’s one big happy family in Portland and this book is not to missed. That being said said, I’m sad to see the Fusion series end, but WOW, it went out with an amazing book!!
What a great end of a great series. This book was about second chance love. Ten years ago their marriage didn’t last and now they find themelves working together. Mia and Camden were so young when they were first married. Mia never knew that Camden loved her. She thought he married her because of the baby. But when she found d out about the false positive result she ran. Now 10 years later and she realizes that what she felt for Camden never went away. It’s like they needed this time apart to grow and then finally be together. Their story is so beautiful and Kristen proby tells it I a way that you fall in love along with them. Camden never stopped loving Mia and is was so amazing watching him shoe her how much he loved her. He was nev er good at say g how he felt he always thought actions spoke louder the words. They have such chemistry together. Their physical relationship was off the charts but they were so much more. He was never the type of guy to cuddle but with Mia that’s all he thought about. When he wasn’t with her he missed her. Mia is strong and independent woman. Queen of her kitchen. She is passionate of her. cooking and will not accept anything else of the people who work for her. She allows Camden in where no one else has ever been. He gets her like no one else. Their story will have you glued to each and every word unable to put down. Kristen Proby has a way of grabbing you from the first page and taking you on a journey of a lifetime. Her stories are just that good.

I love the Fusion series, and the time has come to say goodbye to these amazing women who won my heart from the first book of the series, and here we finally have the book of Mia, the most mysterious, shy and controlling this group of five friends. And in this last book of this incredible series, have my preferred type if history: second chances.
Mia is the chef of the restaurant and throughout this series we find that her is a little difficult when it comes to sharing your kitchen, she can have trust issues but most of all she has a heart of gold and worries with those she loves, and after his four best friends have found love, it’s her turn.Camden is a chef famous and who had great success over the years and who comes to town to participate in a culinary show with none other than Mia, which coincidentally is also the one who left him years ago.
Just let me know that the story is suffers second chances that I’m all curious and excited to read the story and certainly Savor You was one of those books that I’ve been wanting to read a good few months and as soon as I put my hand on it I couldn’t leave until to the end.
I think there is no one more perfect and right to Mia that Camden, these two are perfectly matched and I had fun reading these two falling in love again.Provided me with funny moments, romantic and always leave me with a good feeling when reading a book where there’s a well-written story, a pure romance is genuine and fantastics characters.I can’t forget to mention that every time and dialogue that had these five friends together let me with a smile on her face. Friendship, companionship and loyalty of them certainly was one of the points that made me love this series so much.
Savor You is the last book in this series that tells the story of five wonderful friends who decided to go into business together and along the journey we could see the adventures, romances and even difficult moments that they have passed. The perfect end to a fantastic series .
Second-chances. My favorite.
We’ve seen Mia completely immerse herself into being head chef at Seduction. She’s amazing at her job which means, no time for anything or anyone. I love that Mia isn’t perfect. She has doubts about her looks, confidence and questions herself. We all do it.
Re-enter Camden. He’s lovable, sweet, and a man deserving of love.
They literally sizzle. Their history thrown into the wind. I loved this sensual book about loving despite imperfections. Kristen Proby ended this series on the right note

Ahhh… I can’t believe the last Fusion is here! Talk about bittersweet!
That’s right, Mia’s story is finally here and Savor You was the perfect cherry on top of this extraordinary series.
After that explosive revelation at the end of The Beauty of Us, all Kristen Proby fans, like yours truly, have been counting down the days to the release of Mia and Camden’s story, because hot damn, the past of these two is to important, to stay in the past, and when Camden is brought to Mia’s life, all of those memories come rushing back. And what memories they are…
With Camden now in her every day life, it’s impossible for them to resist the incredible attraction they once let loose and when things when they separated, they tried to deny. The chemistry between them truly is sizzling and it’s undeniable.
Mia, the workaholic chef, and big responsible for the huge success that is the girl’s Seduction, has tried to move on with her life even though that event in the past left its mark. Even though she’s secure in herself, specially as a professional, and her image. She is a curvy, sexy and successful renown chef, and she owns it. But at times she reveals a hidden fragility, where comments about her curvy figure affect her, like they would hurt deep down, anyone who is criticized, and I just adored that with Camden, even in the past, she had no doubts that he adored her for who she was, every part of her, he showed her every time they were together. It was even hard for her to let that fully sink in. A lifetime of mean comments and bullies, did that to her, but fortunately she had Camden and all gang to prove her otherwise. Even her brother, Landon, made an amazing point on the subject, lol. 😉
Camden was such a fantastic and swoon worthy hero! Truly the whole package: drop dread handsome, absolutely enchanted by Mia, and so sweet and caring that it was impossible for her to resist. The celebrity chef, had tried to move on from the heartbreak, ten years prior, but just being in Mia’s presence we could see all his feelings for her coming back to surface. I adored that he didn’t try to fight it, and made everything in his power to show Mia, that he was ready to win her back again, holding nothing back, and not allowing their past to stop them to have it all. The only down point in my eyes, was my dreaded ‘have always loved you, never stopped loving’ statement, that I really could go without, and everyone that follows me knows I dislike when it’s clear they moved on, so that statement becomes mute in my eyes, lol. Apart from those statements, their love and devotion in the story was palpable, beyond heartfelt, and I love how they realized that timing really was everything.
Kristen Proby really has a gift of creating the most emotional and realistic love stories and Camden and Mia’s Savor You is exactly that, an emotional journey that shows us the importance of communication, personal growth and timing. These characters makes us see things with different eyes, and reevaluate certain aspects of our every day lives, that’s how powerful Ms. Proby’s words touch us and make us think and feel. Their story touched my heart and I was so rooting for these two to get their much deserved HEA. I adored the full circle aspect of their story, and I couldn’t have asked for a better ending. A second chance at love and life in every way… <3
I’m so so sad to see this brilliant series go. What an amazing series of empowered women! Fusion was the perfect example of Kristen Proby absolutely gifted and epic writing. These five ladies are a group I won’t soon forget, better yet, never! Savor You gave such an amazing closure for all of them and their loved ones, that left me teary eyed with all the beauty and happiness they ended up as their HEA. That epilogue was the PERFECT wrap up for all the Fusion girls! And even more on the bright side, with Ms. Proby announcing her Manhattan series, we have something new to look forward to. A perfect goodbye for an epic series, a true golden – or better yet, diamond – key closure!

M/F Romance – second chance
I have read all of the books in this series and I highly recommend reading them in order. However, if you choose not to, you won’t necessarily be missing out on who everyone is.
Mia is a workaholic. She is head chef at her and her friend’s successful, sexy restaurant. She wants things done to her specifications and is constantly wanting perfection. She also has a lot of insecurities that we see throughout the book. Her past is somewhat of a mystery, but as Mia’s life progresses, you get to catch glimpses of her past. I like how Proby wove the past and present together. When Camden comes back into Mia’s life, Mia has to decide whether or not to take a leap of faith and trust her heart. She has never forgotten Camden and even though they have a complicated history, the chemistry is still very apparent.
Camden is a sexy head chef who has his own TV show. Now he’s been asked to compete against Mia, his long-ago love. Camden has never forgotten Mia – she was sexy, funny, a fabulous chef, and their relationship was easy. Even though Camden was heartbroken in the past, he can’t deny that they still have chemistry.
Camden and Mia fell back in love rather quickly. I liked how Camden was constantly reassuring Mia that she was enough and that she didn’t need to change in order for Camden to like her. I did think that despite Mia’s hang-ups, when it was brought to her attention and the attention of others, it never was truly addressed. She was never quite strong enough to stand up and say, “Stop saying that about me.” I wish that she had been more forward with those people in the story. It felt glossed over.
Overall, Mia and Camden’s book was the perfect conclusion to this series. I will miss it greatly and loved all of the women in this series. I can’t wait to see what Proby has next!
Ruthie –
I love this series – and book five is just as good as all the others, possibly even better. We knew from The Beauty of Us that the cookery TV show was coming, but how it affects Mia is far more than anyone could have expected.
I loved the story from the very first page – and Ms Proby reveals the details and implications of what we need to know in absolutely the perfect order. I cannot emphasise too much how important that is in this novel in particular, because it gives shape to every feeling that we imagine both Mia and Camden are having. That is incredibly powerful as Mia starts to understand what happened 10 years ago, and through talking about it, finally gets how she may have got it wrong. That is not to say that Camden is entirely blameless in the miscommunication stakes either.
There are so many lovely parts to this book – I loved when Mia took him home to her parents’ house for dinner; when she finally told her brother, Landon, about what had happened at culinary school; when Camden shared his Mia folder with her…
Thank you for a treasure of a series, and an epilogue worthy of the successful quintet.
Reviewers on the Wicked Reads Review Team were provided a free copy of Savor You (Fusion #5) by Kristen Proby to read and review.
In true Kristen Proby signature, Savor You is swoony, seductive, and sultry.
At the end of The Beauty of Us, Mia reveals that she’s kept a part of her past a secret. The secret is, Camden Sawyer. But it doesn’t stop there. Since both Mia and Camden are successful in their craft, they are brought to work together. Can they work together and get pass what happened in the past?
Want a hint? Things are about to get HOT in the kitchen.
I loved Savor You! Mia’s passionate attitude meshed well with Camden’s protective, alpha side. The sexy, flirty banter they exchanged just makes you love these characters more. Then again, this series makes you feel as you’re catching up with old friends. Which is why I cried at the end. Savor You is the final installment and I just didn’t want to say goodbye to this amazing circle of friends.
Kristen Proby truly wrapped this series up nicely. So I suggest you grab a comfy chair, pour yourself some wine and be ready to fall in love one more time.
This is my first read by Kristen Proby, and I’m sure I will be reading more of her in the future. I delved into the Fusion series with Savor You, which is the fifth installment. I haven’t read the earlier books and, while there is some character crossover, I didn’t feel too horribly lost or overly curious about the other couples and characters.
Mia Palazzo is an accomplished chef who has opened a restaurant, Seduction, with her best friends. She is passionate about her profession and Seduction, which sometimes comes across as her being a tyrant in the kitchen. Her Gordon Ramsay tendencies aside, Mia has a soft center and the criticism gets to her more than people know. She also did something incredibly stupid when she was 20 years old, which saw her married to her roommate and running out on him a few days after the wedding. Now he is coming back into her life and kitchen in a way that she will be forced to deal with both her future and the past as they learn to work together again.
Camden Sawyer is a celebrity chef moving to Portland to for a cooking competition show starring himself and his ex, the girl that got away. I was impressed that Camden didn’t seem to be holding a grudge against Mia. In fact, he was extremely complimentary and supportive of her. He was more on the beta male side, and had that nice guy feel. I tend to like my heroes to be a little more alpha, but I wouldn’t throw Camden outta bed for eating crackers.
This second chance romance was somewhere between instalove and slow burn. Our couple had history so they had some issues to work through, but the feelings were already there and gave them something to build on. Things also got pretty steamy, and they had lots of fun.
I loved the relationship between Mia and her friends. Their girl outings really made me miss girl talk! They were all very communicative and supportive of each other. I believe the girl crew are heroines in the other books of the series.
This story did have a hard time keeping my attention at times. There was nothing wrong with the writing or plot development… I think it was just the subject matter. I am not really a foodie, though this story did make me hungry! Nor am I particularly interested in chef romances or beta males… so the story was just missing that edge that I usually go for. Otherwise, the writing was good.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book that I received from the publisher, William Morrow Books.
Ohhhh, Mia! You guys, Mia might be my favorite one of all the Fusion girls. It’s no secret that I love heroes who are prickly on the outside and ooey gooey on the inside – but it is a bit of a surprise to me that I can love my heroines like that too! But I did – I loved how multi-faceted she was, how she covered her vulnerability with sharp pointy edges (something I’m well familiar with), and most of all – how big and beautiful her heart was underneath all that edge.
And Camden? There aren’t enough squealy, fangirly words to describe my love for Camden. A charming blend of laid back and staunchly determined, I loved how strong and true he was to Mia. I loved his easy sense of humor, and the way he remained unwilling to buy into drama, even when it was thrown right in his face. I adored this man. But even better? I adored him with Mia. There were moments between the two of them that made me laugh out loud, followed by moments that made me close my eyes with a sigh of satisfaction and a smile so big it hurt my face. They are completely adorable together – heartwarming, sexy, and so much fun to read.
Also – this series has excelled at giving us healthy and positive female friendships and we get to see more of that in Savor You. These girls had me rolling with their very frank, very realistic girl talk. They filled my heart with their genuine care for each other – how they understood each other, and yet pushed each other to be their best selves. Their friendship was truly one of the highlights of the entire series for me, and wrapped up so beautifully in this last book of the series.
I am crazy about this book! I want to flip back to the first page and start reading all over again. The perfect end to a nearly perfect series and I am so glad for all the time I got to spend with these fantastic characters.
I have been anxiously awaiting Mia’s story in the fantastic Fusion series, and I couldn’t wait to dive right into Savor You. After the epic bombshell Mia lobbed at the end of The Beauty of Us, I knew I would be in for an amazing second-chance romance.
I’ve loved Mia from meeting her in the first book of this series. She’s prickly. She’s particular. She’s bossy. She’s feisty. She’s unwilling to compromise. She expects diligence and perfection from those who work for her. She’s not afraid of hard work. But she’s petrified of love.
Camden Sawyer has avoided Mia for ten years. Until he accepts a chance to participate in a chef-to-chef showdown against Mia for a television show. Ten years is a long time. And Camden is all about making up for lost time. If only he could convince Mia to play along. And not just play in the kitchen.
I have to admit that Camden may just be my favorite guy from the series. I loved him and his fierce determination to make Mia see that there’s really life outside the kitchen. That she doesn’t have to control everything. That it’s okay to live and love.
I knew Mia would burrow under my skin and make me love her even more when her full tale was told. And I was right! She did worm her way in—all her defensiveness, and her devotion to her work and her friends made me realize that her steel spine protected a really soft underbelly. One that she didn’t willingly reveal—even to those closest to her.
But there were a couple things that I didn’t like. Things that kept me from fully loving their whole romance. One was the “Mia is fat” storyline. I got it the first couple of times it was mentioned. And yes, Mia’s weight affected her self-esteem, but there were some parts of the story that pushed the boundaries—where her friends didn’t even come to her defense. It seemed odd to me how these little digs played out and didn’t seem true to the friendships she shared.
Another issue I had was with the epilogue. While I loved catching up with the lives of all these amazing women and what was happening in the future, it felt off to me. As if the women were no longer friends, that they didn’t know what was going on with each other. That they’d become merely business partners rather than friends who owned a business together. And that’s the reason this story fell from a 5 star read to a 3.5 star one for me.
I have been eagerly anticipating this book since the end of The Beauty of Us when Mia dropped the bombshell news regarding her history with Camden, and it was worth the wait!
Out of the five friends who opened Seduction, Mia has always been the most emotionally closed off. She is not a touchy- feely person and she often comes across as cold and heartless to some of her employees, but her passion for her job and her life’s work is usually misunderstood. She is driven to make the restaurant a success for both herself and her friends, and she expects everyone who works for her to share her work ethic. Unfortunately she is destined to be disappointed in most of her employees because they do not have the same vested interest in the restaurant’s future. She has shown glimpses of a softer, more emotional side to her friends in the past, and now her whole world is rocked by the return of Camden Sawyer to her life.
Mia and Camden’s history is complicated, but their first attempt at happiness failed thanks to a lack of communication and a bit of immaturity thanks to their young ages at the time. From the minute they are in the same room again, it is clear that they still have plenty of chemistry and that neither of them really ever got over the other. They fall back into an easy flirtatious banter during the filming of the TV show and it soon becomes clear that they work together well on many different levels. They bring out the best in each other as Camden reminds her to lighten up and Mia forces him to embrace his feelings rather than assuming his actions speak louder than words.
Savor You is a wonderful second chance romance and a perfect ending to the series. It is sweet, sexy, steamy and funny, and Mia and Camden are great together! The author provides us with a look into the future for the whole group via the epilogue too. I am going to miss this group, but I am thinking we just may see glimpses of them again in a new series 😉
This is a great read and another wonderful addition to a fabulous series by Kristen Proby. Mia and Camden are meant to be together. But better tripe ten second chances. Mia and Camden went to school together and then end up doing a tv show together but they need to deal with their past. Kristen Proby takes you on a journey of love and trust and the friendships of the whole group of these friends. What happens when it’s hard to say that you love someone.
I could not but this book down and was extremely sad this is the last edition in this series.
My favorite part of Savor You was everything!!! This story captured my attention just by reading the prologue. Kristen Proby is an evil genius with words and after reading the prologue, I was like I guess I won’t be getting any sleep tonight! I spent all day reading this book and just loving this story! This books was the perfect missing link to the Fusion series. This story was beautifully written and the words just flew off the page. I loved every minute of it. My favorite part was the food and being jealous that I did not have any pie to eat with this book. I love pie! *Dear Kristen this book needs to come with a PIE warning…please read with PIE and WINE! When it came to the end I was sad. I loved this series and sadly there are no more books left for me to read! *cries* I am seriously left with a book hangover and a little hangry for PIE. This book left me wanting more of Mia and Camden and wanting to taste all the delicious dessert! The part I love most was how I could relate to this book because I too like Mia love dessert and I too like Mia have had trouble with my weight and I am too no size two. I enjoy food just like Mia and food is what she loves. She is passionate about her work and is a perfectionist. Mia despite her insecurities is a bad ass and I want to be just like her, strong, independent, stubborn, feisty and a excellent pie maker. LOL This book is amazing, I highly recommend this book for anyone that loves a good steamy love story. This book is pure seduction and I savored every minute.
Kristen Proby is one of my favorite authors. I just love her books. I won an early copy of Savor You and it made my whole year.
Camden Sawyer had love once, and then he lost it, and now he wants it back… the day he let Mia Palazzo slip quietly out of his life is a day that has haunted him for the last ten years. He has never fully understood why she walked away, but she did, and now that they are going to be dueling chefs on a cooking show he plans to use the reunion to not only get some answers, but also maybe get his girl back too. They use to be an unstoppable pair in the bedroom and in the kitchen, question is can they relight the flame that fizzled out so many years ago?
Mia Palazzo walked away from the man she loved ten years ago, and she has regretted her decision everyday since, but when you love someone and they don’t return the sentiment it’s hard to stick around and hope it will eventually take hold. So, she has buried herself in her work, and has always had a dream of running her own kitchen, creating her own unique menu, and becoming a success in the culinary world, and with a lot of hard work, sweat and a few tears she has managed to achieve it. But with all her newfound success she still feels like something might be missing… love! As she watches all of her friends find love and create new lives with their spouses, she can’t help but feel a little envious, she would like to have that someday too, problem is Mr. Right just hasn’t come along… or has he?
Between the pages of Savor You readers will be introduced to two lovelorn souls who left love slip through their fingertips ten years ago, and now fate is giving them a second chance to rediscover what they missed out on the first go around. And of course their little reunion doesn’t happen easily, there are lots of hurdles for them to overcome, heated discussions to take place, and of course some steamy little bedroom sessions to help sort everything out…. and all I can say is be prepared to have your world rocked!! I have thoroughly enjoyed meeting each one of the ladies in this series and their sexy soul mates and I have to say I am sad to see it end… but with that being said I can also say Ms. Proby ended things perfectly and saved the best heroine for last, Mia’s story was definitely my favorite!! If you like fierce heroines then I highly recommend you check out this series, each book comes equipped with an amazing female character that will inspire some serious girl power, and of course the alpha’s that managed to steal their hearts are pretty damn amazing too!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this title.
“I’m not going to rush this. I want to explore you a bit.”
For those of you who have waited patiently, or not so patiently, for Mia’s happily ever after, the wait if finally over! SAVOR YOU is here and it does NOT disappoint! In fact, it blew FAR past any expectation I had, and let me tell you, my expectations were sky high because I absolutely ADORE this series! Proby combines all my favorite things: food, sex, banter, and romance, and put it in a heartfelt, sweet, funny, and ADDICTIVE romance, giving us book five in her swoon-worthy contemporary romance series, FUSION.
I can’t even begin to tell you how much I loved these characters! I mean, Mia Palazzo is ALL OF US! She’s feisty, hilarious, and loyal. She says what’s on her mind and doesn’t give a shit what anyone else thinks. She will do ANYTHING for her friends and even though she might rub people the wrong way, it makes her completely genuine. Camden Sawyer is Mia’s PERFECT match! I fell HARD for both of them and I just know that YOU will too!
Full of hilarity, passion, and scorching hot love scenes, this second chance romance is one that every single romance reader will want on their shelves and in their hearts!
Strong women, tempting men and tasty romance. Savor You is a smorgasbord of emotion. Proby turns on the seduction with the women of Fusion. This time around the mysterious Mia is faced with a past she can’t forget. Mia is used to being in control. Her life revolves around her friends, family and her kitchen. So what happens when the man who makes her lose all sense of control, shows up and throws her need for organization into chaos? SPARKS!! The past has come back to haunt her and her heart may not survive the blow? For Camden, Mia is the one that got away. For Mia, Camden is the man she can’t forget. Fall in love with the sisterhood, family and romance, that only Kristen Proby can deliver. Sexy, sassy and sensational.
WOW…. what an amazing ending to such a great series! I love this series so much because these women are so relatable. Mia is a sassy, headstrong beautiful curvy woman who kicks butt in the kitchen but meets her match with her former flame. Camden is a sexy, laid back gorgeous celebrity chef who will be working with Mia iin a cooking competition show. The chemistry between these two definitely heats up the kitchen and the pages of the book you won’t be able to put down! Prepare to be seduced, captivated and enraptured with another Kristen Proby 5-star MUST read!
ARC – I voluntarily offered to review this book with no obligations and my opinions are honest
Mia is a control freak in the kitchen.
Long ago, she had thought that she had lost the love of her life.
Long ago, Camden had thought that he had lost the love of his lfe.
Now, both of them has a shoot at a second chance.
Will they take it?
Will they give each other a chance?
The storytelling + the character’s build were awesome!
It has all the ingredients that you need for a great book!
