He bought me, but not to touch or taste. He bought me to save me, and to atone for past sins.Handsome and mysterious, he swoops in to offer me a new life, but this is no knight in shining armor. He’s cold, hardened by his past. But there’s an inferno underneath the ice, I can feel the heat each time he looks at me—each time he gives in to the desire between us.No matter how much I push to unleash … much I push to unleash the fire in his eyes, he shoves back harder each time. He’s merciless with his cruel words, telling me how naive I am, how little I know of the world.
But I’m stronger than he thinks.
When we face down our demons from the past, I’ll prove which one of us was in need of saving, and which one of us is the savior.

Holy jesusssss. This was a hot book. The beginning immediately sucked me in! I was hooked and within a few hours of trying to sneak innl reading i was already halfway! I quickly devoured Erik and Alexandra’s story once my kids were in bed. So, so good. My heart ached for both of them but in the end they found love and happiness. I might have squealed because we get to see a few people from past books in this world. But i super excited to where we were left off with and i can’t wait! Its gonna be so amazing!
Oh- what to say about this book….. it’s quite the amazing book. I love Fiona Coke’s writing so much. I love how she develops a story and takes readers on a journey.
This is one messed up journey. Alexandra needs money, she had a tough upbringing and decides to sell her virginity for money. Erik is the total Alpha A-hole who buys her.
From there is complex, beautiful, heartbreaking story develops. The lengths that Erik goes to protect those he loves is insane. And the lengths he goes to push people away makes him feel like such the bad guy…. but is he really?????
Alexandra is given a chance to a new different life and she takes it all in while Erik is just being Erik.
I don’t want to give spoilers away because even with an alpha A- hole and an age gap and some really crazy stuff this story is beautiful. It addresses real life issues that people do suffer through. It addresses how someone tries to protect themself but when they are honest with themselves and others- it’s an amazing story.
The supporting characters are fabulous. I loved how Carina is brought in and now can’t wait for Ian’s book next. Go read this book now!
~Books & Magic Shop Review~
Fiona Cole has never let me down with a new release! I absolutely loved this book! It was the perfect recipe of a romance novel right up my alley: angtsy, swoony, very very passionate. This book is FIERY, the relationship that blooms over trials and tribulations that both Alexandra and Erik go through is everything you need from a romance novel. They persevere rather than giving up which makes this relationship all the more worth it to read about.
Alexandra is in complete destitution when she decides to sell her virginity on a website online. Erik, feeling guilty from childhood circumstance, makes it his life’s mission do to whatever he can to save desperate people, like Alexandra, from resorting to these tactics for money. He buys her. Their relationship grows and faces hurdles. Lines blur between love and principles.
Alexandra and Erik are ELECTRIC! You won’t regret reading this taboo treat!
I received this arc from Foreword PR and Marketing and am voluntarily leaving this review
Oh. Em. Gee. This book. Has the biggest and baddest Alpha Asshole in this history of Alpha Assholes, but you just can’t help but fall in love with him. At 50% in I was ready to launch my Kindle but by the end I loved him so much!!
The way the author manages to win you over and help you understand Erik and his motivation is pure genius. She shows him for all his flaws and allows you the luxury of the whole range of emotions with this character. By the time you’ve fallen for him you wonder how you ever disliked him so much.
As for Alexandra, her naïveté is both her charm and her weakness. She so desperately wants a hero, something good to atone for the crappy first nineteen years of her life. She sees glimpses of that in Erik time and again, right before he snatches it away.
Her strength is her determination, her willingness to keep forgiving Erik and her pursuit of a better life. All this makes you wonder just who the Savior in this story is.
This is a masterful tale of love and loss and atonement and forgiveness. It’s about doing the wrong things for the right reasons and about learning to live with the consequences of your actions. It’s quite wonderful.
Savior was an intense steamy slow burn story that grabbed me from the start. This is a story about two individuals who end up saving each other in two entirely different way.
The chemistry between Erik and Alexandra was intense from the moment they met and just kept building thereafter no matter how much Erik tries to stop it.
The story was sad and angsty with hints of some dark elements. Yes there was a male characters who was a jerk for half the book but you will love him anyway. Yes there was a female character who was poor but she was rich in character and you will love her determination.
Age-gap romance, steamy scenes, and a some amusing banter made this story a page-turner you will definitely enjoy. The underlying sub-plot will have you at the edge of your seat and the ending will peak your interest and have you excited for the next book in the series.
Savior was a fantastic read. I loved it and I would highly recommend.
5 SEXY HOT STARS!! This story will have you turning pages with all the sexy hot phenomenal storytelling, by this author. Erik is that guy with the dirty talking, sexiness and a complete jerk, but you can’t get enough of him. Alexandra is beautiful, hard working and looking for money. Their story has all the elements of age-gap, a sexy jerk and so much more to get a 5 star review from me. Make sure to 1-Click this book, it is worth the money and time.
This has to be my favorite Fiona Cole book yet. It fully consisted of all the ingredients I love: angst, steamy times, swoon worthy moments, combative banter, gorgeous alpha male and too hot for her own good female. I was pulled in as soon as I read the first chapter. My heart broke for Alexandra and the unfortunate circumstances she had to deal with. The poor girl couldn’t catch a break. Desperate times call for desperate measures sometimes and Alexandra did what she had to do. In swoops this hot, frustrating man Erik to the rescue, with good intentions but the worst attitude ever. I found myself wanting to put him on time out a few too many times throughout this book. These two went through it and at times was a bit hard but they learned from each other and made each other better along the way. Did I mention the sexy times? Whew!!! Fiona Cole was unafraid to tackle the subject matter in this book and allowed the reader to experience her words though it may have been a bit uneasy at times but she made it better in the end. Savior is a story of overcoming obstacles, dealing with life altering moments and triumph all at once. I’d highly recommend giving this book a read you’ll thank me later.
DREAMY’S REVIEW
Age gap.
Cold, alphahole hero with a good heart.
Innocent, strong, lovable heroine with sass.
A decision out of desperation.
A risk that was worth it.
“He bought me not to touch or taste. He bought me to save me, and to atone for past sins.”
Fiona Cole is one of my unicorn authors and what I adore about her the most is that when she delves into a subject, SHE REALLY GOES IN.
She doesn’t shy away or sugar coat it. And even if the subject matter is touchy or not talked much about, she goes about it beautifully. I’m continually enthralled by Cole’s writing! She keeps me engaged and turning the pages and needing MORE!
With that being said, Erik and Alexandra have truly captured my heart!
*****
Erik is THE alphahole. THE anti-hero/hero. A tortured man with a heavy past… One that he can’t escape. He tries to do right by it and save those who get stuck in the dark, greedy, and sick situation.
“The things I could do to you.”
I loved him more and more as the story progressed. Layer by layer, you saw the core of who Erik is and his intentions. He is definitely one of my favorite alphaholes, EVER!
Alexandra is the sassy virgin. She’s not your average virgin, she comes with some fire. And I loved that about her! She’s damaged, but who isn’t? She’s in desperate need of a way out, an escape. And she was willing to give it up at the right price.
These two, oh these two.
“You’re my greatest risk.”
Alexandra and Erik together was electric, explosive, magnetic, fiery, and SO HOT! No one and I mean, NO ONE writes steamy af scenes like Fiona Cole. Whenever her hero and heroines get together. . . YOU. GET. SUCKED. IN.
I was entranced by their connection, captivated by their development, and hot and bothered by their filthy times!
“He saved me that night from myself and I’d spend the rest of my life loving the man who bought me.”
*****
Savior is one of my favorite reads of 2019, hands down!
The emotions you go through as you read, how well she writes complex characters with intriguing backstories, a well thought out and developed plot, the tough subjects that are handled beautifully, steamy AF scenes, and so much more are the reasons exactly why Fiona Cole is a one-click author for me!
One of my unicorn authors!
If you haven’t read a book by her, STOP WHAT YOU’RE DOING A PICK UP SAVIOR NOW! You will not be disappointed!!
Five SAVE ME dreamy stars:
”’You are my greatest risk.’”
I shouldn’t be surprised with the fact that I don’t even know where to start with this review. That seems to be a theme when it comes to Fiona Cole’s books and my reviews for her.
Savior was BEYOND amazing. It’s unlike anything out there right now while having everything you could possibly want in a taboo read. You go into books like this expecting to have read something similar before because it’s been done before right? Wrong. SO wrong. Fiona Cole is her own damn genre simply because while you may think these books have “been done before”, no one will ever be able to do Fiona Cole books. Ever. Savior is prime example of that.
The thrill, the taboo-ness of it all, the expected and unexpected are on more levels of holy shit and everything more than you could imagine, it’s just ALL there. Erik and Alexandra are definitely one of the best couples I’ve read about. A virgin who takes no shit and the DEFINITION of Alpha Male? Just all the yes. Their love journey was one I enjoyed immensely and will revisit countless times just like all the other books in this amazing series.
Geezus. This book was dirty. If you love a dirty talking male character with a bit of an alpha-hole on the side, with a touch of age-gap thrown in, then this book is for you. Erik’s character is hot, then cold, but in the scope of the books theme it worked really well. His care and understanding of Alexandra was equal parts admirable, endearing, and sexy. I couldn’t help but fall for his characters fierce way of dealing with his lust for Alexandra. Becoming her “savior” helps to transform his life as well as her life. It’s a bit of a slow-burn dark romance. But it’s not extremely dark, it just has some dark aspects to it. At it’s heart, this story is about redemption and growth, and I loved every second of reading it.
Erik, Erik, Erik
Yes, he did some things I was not happy with, that made me ragey and want to throw my Kindle. But at the end of it all, it was impossible not to fall in love with this sexy, alpha a$$hole. One minute I wanted to throat punch him and in the next minute I wanted to climb him like a tree. Erik had so many beautiful qualities, he just keep them all tucked away until the ideal woman that is Alexandra came along.
Alexandra is an extremely tough young woman, having gone through more heartache in her short life than some have to endure in a lifetime. She’s resilient and determined to find the happiness she once had as a young child. Let’s not forget she can be pretty bad ass when she stands up to Erik.
Fiona does a great job of pulling you into their world, you feel their struggles and vulnerability. You will be engaged and intrigued by Erik and Alexandra. The reason why/how they meet is sad, yet binds them together in a way neither could have imagined. Their chemistry is hot and oh so forbidden, but that makes their journey sooooooooooo juicy
4.5 stars this book was for me. HOLY just WOW!!!! I wasn’t really sure what I was getting into with this books as I try to go in blind sometimes as I did here. It’s got a little something for everyone if you don’t mind an age gap, and trust me I don’t mind at all. Alexandra and Erik come from two different worlds and have seen different things, but they both have a strong need to help and save people at the core of who they are. Erik is a complete A-hole, but I found myself totally in love with him once you know the reasons, he really is trying to do the right thing but going about it all wrong. Alexandra is just striving for a better life and in desperation makes a bad decision that might end up being the best thing she ever did. I adored the characters in this book and the strong sense of family that everyone has. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader coy of this book for an honest review.
Effing wowsers on the sexy with substance scale! Savior is a story about two unlikely people coming together to…well…save each other, albeit in different ways. Our main guy Erik is fighting hard to redeem himself in his own eyes for tragic events that have occurred in his past. He takes the blame unnecessarily and to get through, he has built a wall around his heart to prevent him from getting too close to anything real. Alexandra is desperate to make it out of her horrible life situation, causing her to make a very dangerous choice. Once she is ‘saved’ she is weary to accept her new circumstances thinking it’s too good to be true. Of course Erik constantly pushing her away just as they get close certainly doesn’t help matters. The two main characters are both fighters, and their interactions while angry have actual depth. And their interactions while happy…so hot and so dirty! LOL. I’ve just briefly touched on the characters and I don’t want to get too spoiler-ish, but Savior has an attention holding plot immersed in the terrifying and devastating world of human sex trafficking. The writing goes beyond a romance with real heartbreaking struggles within. Fiona keeps giving us the goods in her Voyeur world and I’m absolutely here for it. 5 savory stars for Savior!
3.5 stars
“”The truth is, Princess, I won’t be any softer. I’ll take what you offer and love every cry you let free. The only difference is that I’ll make you like it and beg for more.””
To be honest with you, I was pretty excited reading Savior and I truly enjoyed it. It was easy with a nice pace and the right amount of alpha, dark and sexy with a tough and easy to love heroine. Erik’s and Alexandra’s sexual chemistry crackles through the chapters and their sexual encounters never fail to disappoint.
However, something was missing for me. It’s like their physical attraction was much more dominant than the emotional connection. And I wished we would see a little more of that. Specially with an age-gap backstory, the emotional connection is pretty important for me.
”She was a light that still managed to shine through whatever darkness she faced.”
Despite their age difference and Erik with his alpha/caveman behaviour and the lacking of a deeper emotional connection, the story itself is captivating and keeps you turning the pages.
Overall, Savior is a fun and sexy story with a dark twist, that will keep you entertained from the first chapter to the last.
”He saved me that night from myself and I’d spend the rest of my life loving the man who bought me.”
Fiona Cole captured my attention immediately with Alexandra and Erik and their forbidden, age gap push and pull! I really liked Alexandra and empathized for her and her situation. She was desperate and that led her to make a decision, although wary about, but nonetheless something she felt she had to do. She was bold, sassy yet sweet, determined, opinionated and genuine and she cared about people. She came from poverty and life circumstances that led her to the place where Eric showed up. Ah, Eric, my opinion swayed back-and-forth about him from admiring his determination and caring side to wanting to shake some sense into him! He was experienced and could be cold and closed off but Alexandra knew what she wanted! I really loved their bantering! She held her own. This is one of my favorites from Fiona!
If you love a slow but with an Alpha male who is an asshole in the beginning, then this is a book for you. I went from loving what Eric was doing in the beginning to saying what an asshole and wanting to junmp into the book and kick him in his junk.
Alexandra and Eric meet when she is desperate to make money and give up the one thing she still holds precious to her. He is the knight that tries to save those who seem lost the their families and world in the world of human trafficking. Eventhough he usually is not so involved with the cases this one is different for him and he is not sure what to do at first. Alex is hesitant with Eric because he seems to be offering her all of her dreams but she thinks it is too good to be true.
I loved this book and can’t wait for the next one as it will be very interesting with that ending.
For the few first part, I wanna kill Erik. He is massive childish as toward Alex. But then he prove him self worthy for my lust
Love the steamy scenes.
Love the action parts.
Love the simple plot line but dark and scary theme the author bring.
Love how the author write the angst of sisterhood between Alex and Leah.
And the ending… I laugh so hard seeing Ian face. Can’t wait for Ian story. He will be next, right?
5 “Greatest Risk” Stars!!!
*sigh* I honestly don’t even know where to begin. This story overwhelmed me in the best way. It had me on the edge of my seat, gripping anything I could grab my hands on anticipating what would happen next. Once I started reading I couldn’t for the life of me stop. I was entranced, the only thing on my mind were Alexandra and Erik. I didn’t care about anything else, just them.
Desperate times call for desperate measures. And for Alexandra that means selling her virginity on the internet. If there was any other way she’d be right on that, but there isn’t and time is of the essence for how desperate and in dire need she is. She has no idea what she’s doing and how dangerous it is, and if it wasn’t for Erik saving her, who knows in what state Alexandra could’ve and possibly would’ve been left in.
Erik Brandt has made it his life mission after a tragic incident in his life to do everything possible to save women from the hands of monsters. And yes, he strides in in all his knight and shining armor, but he’s the ultimate alpha-hole. And OMFG there were countless times I wanted to hate him, but at every turn there he was giving me all those swoony moments that made it hard not to love him.
Alexandra and Erik have a connection that is so powerful. It’s everything magnetic and fiery. Their attraction is undeniable, but Erik does everything to push Alexandra away. He’s brash and at times downright cruel. Though Alexandra doesn’t cower, she puts Erik in his place and I freaking loved it. She showed bravery and especially an abundance of sass which had me fist pumping and yelling “YES GIRL!” And I just couldn’t get enough of the explosive and scorching hot moments with Erik and Alexandra. *fans self” But there’s something to be said that it was more than just physical attraction between Alexandra and Erik, they have this emotional connection that is skin deep and so much more. And it was truly beautiful and heartfelt.
Savior mesmerized me. It took me on the most exhilarating, tumultuous and emotional ride. I was overwhelmed with feeling. I was angry and ragey at times and lost my breath a few times as well. I inhaled this book and its story, as soon as I started reading there was no way I was stopping until I reached the end. Fiona has a way with words, and my gosh this book is no different, she captures you and you can’t help but be hypnotized. Another winner by Ms. Cole. Oh, and WTF with that epilogue? I gasped so loud, I can’t even. I am so freaking ready for the next book, I NEED IT NOW!

Fiona Cole
Savior combined many of my favorite things into one hot, dirty, angsty package. Age-Gap, check. Angsty, check. Alpha-hole that I wanted to throat punch, check. Steamy AF, double check!! This book had me hooked from the beginning. Alexandra is desperate for money. Even though she has a job, she is struggling and searching for a way out of her dead end life. She has no one to rely on and give her support. She dreams of bigger things and decides to sell the one thing she has of value. Erik is a man tortured by his past. Circumstances beyond his control have left him feeling both guilty and angry. In order to help soothe his soul and right past wrongs he tries to help those who are struggling. The seedy underworld of the internet and sex slavery are the perfect backdrop for this gritty read. A chance meeting by Alexandra and Erik bring both of their worlds crashing down in ways neither expected. Their connection is electric, but she is looking for something that he feels he simply can’t give her. “Don’t romanticize this. Don’t romanticize me. I’m not some hero you dreamed about fucking you slowly.” While their story is far from a fairytale, can there be a happily ever?
