He bought me, but not to touch or taste. He bought me to save me, and to atone for past sins.Handsome and mysterious, he swoops in to offer me a new life, but this is no knight in shining armor. He’s cold, hardened by his past. But there’s an inferno underneath the ice, I can feel the heat each time he looks at me—each time he gives in to the desire between us.No matter how much I push to unleash … much I push to unleash the fire in his eyes, he shoves back harder each time. He’s merciless with his cruel words, telling me how naive I am, how little I know of the world.
But I’m stronger than he thinks.
When we face down our demons from the past, I’ll prove which one of us was in need of saving, and which one of us is the savior.

Holy Shiiiit! I swear every book from Fiona is hotter and dirtier than the last, and I love it! Erik and Alexandra are super hot together, although she should have kneed him in the balls more than once. He is such an asshole… but a sweet asshole. Also, I share Alex’s girl crush on Carina. She’s just so fucking hot in every way.
As a native of Cincinnati I love that I can read these books and recognize places from the world I interact with everyday, but this one took it a step further with the subject matter (I won’t say what cause it’s spoilerish) but let’s just say it’s a real issue that exists here. Thank you Fiona for bringing this city to life with your words, the good and the bad.
PS: I’ll bribe you with Holtman’s if you give me Drew’s story
Erik and Alexandra
I don’t go for books that do the whole sell your virginity thing. I don’t do human trafficking books. This is NOT those kind of books. The world Fiona Cole has created keeps sucking me back in, craving more stories to satisfy me. I’ve been stuck in a reading rut but this captured my attention easily. Erik is not a nice, sweet hero. Erik is the guy you stick up your finger to multiple times a day. He’s such a meany you can’t believe you’ll find yourself still rooting for him at the end of the book. Alexandra was a strong female that I enjoyed reading about. Did I want her to challenge Erik’s manwhore ways a little more? Sure, but I didn’t mind the drama was focused on other, bigger issues. Erik is redeemable and Alexandra is the girl you want to read about. I loved their story and can’t wait for the next in the series. I will recommend this book and will probably reread the series soon. It’s that good!
Fiona Cole has done it again; gosh Savior had me on the edge of my seat. The tension, the sexual tension, everything was amazing.
This was a story about a woman who hasn’t had it easy, she works so hard yet never seems to catch a break. So she is told about a job where a guy would pay a lot of money to have in order for something in return. She is completely out of option so when she decides to go for it, the last thing she expected was to meet Erik. Erik is someone who doesn’t show emotions nor want to know people. So when Alexandra comes into her life the last thing he expected was to fall for her.
This was an amazing book; I was hooked from the blurb and couldn’t put the book down. Get ready to fall head over heels for Erik.
If like your temperature turned up, some angst, throw in some suspense and an alpha male…this book is for you. Alexandra may be naive, but definitely not a walkover. I loved the way she stood up and threw things in his face.
Alexandra is a nineteen old girl, living on a shoestring. With no living parent and a sister who’s a junkie, with her useless boyfriend feeding on any crumb of goodness she had left. No idea how she’ll buy groceries or survive she decides to sell herself on the internet. She’s seen people go for huge figures of money and decides this is going to be the kick along she needs to greener pasture.
Erik is thirty one, partner in an IT company and likes to sample women. Seizing the opportunity to take control when a young woman comes on the market. Alexandra is in awe of his looks and happy he’s not an old man or a slob. Erik is not quite as pleased as she is with the situation though. It takes a huge amount of determination to not take advantage of the naive girl.
He takes her under her wing, offers her everything she could possibly want. As someone who has never had anything she is extremely grateful although she is waiting for someone to pull the rug from beneath feet. Erik’s trying to fight his desire and the sweet little temptress. Although the a$$hole gets confused as to what he wants along the way.
I don’t even know where to start!! Not many people can make you fall in love with the biggest a**hole like Fiona Cole can. This girl writes some seriously hot, filthy talking characters that you love to hate and hate that you love! And that ending! Gah!!
Terrible and unfortunate circumstances have led both Erik and Alexandra down a dark path where they meet. One is there fighting for survival. The other to rescue.
Erik takes jerk to the maximum level. But he’s not all bite. He has his moments throughout the story where you see a softer side of him. A side that cares. It’s juuuuust enough to have you falling for him even though everything in you is screaming for you to hate him.
“I’m not the man you think I am.” “Maybe you’re not the man you think you are.”
And Alex? I don’t think I’ve met a girl quite as brave and strong yet so naive. She’s got a lot to learn. Good thing she has Erik to teach her.
“You are my greatest risk.”
Savior is the third book after Voyeur and The Lovers but can totally be read as a standalone!
Age-gap romance? Suree…. Savior is suspense romance with yummy sexy male… The story was simple yet the topic is serious.. It kept me going and Alex was a girl with a rough past. Sexy encounters.. A naive young girl.. I love the overall drama about it 🙂
Fiona Cole does not disappoint readers with her newest release, Savior and I am absolutely in awe by the author’s phenomenal storytelling ability and character development. This story managed to consume every part of my being and left me completely breathless as I inhaled her words.
Erik and Alexandra’s chemistry sent my heart into overdrive and I am still struggling to get my emotions under control after devouring this beautifully raw and slow burning romance. These two had some super intense and angsty moments throughout and they have got to be one of my favorite Fiona Cole couple to date. The steamy passion that they have for one another is extremely evident and they sure kept us on our toes for most of the story. Oh and did I mention their hilarious banter, which was definitely amusing to see unfold.
If you enjoyed Voyeur and Lovers as much as I did, then you are going to FREAKING adore Savior, which brings us back to this crazy fun world! I mean what could be wrong with an age gap forbidden romance about a sweet and innocent girl who decides to sell her virginity online to the highest bidder?! NOTHING THAT IS!!! I cannot wait to see what Fiona Cole comes up with next and I just know that I am going to LOVE it!
What’s starts off under the most taboo of circumstances (selling your virginity to the highest bidder) that turns into a great story between Alexandra and Erik. The author did an amazing job providing back story to both of these characters and in just the right dosage at the right time to offer the reader the full story and keeps the reader captured and attached to the characters. I really loved the push and pull between Alexandra and Erik. I loved how timid Alexandra really was at points she didn’t let Erik get away with anything.
This book packs it all in with the emotions, tension and the uh-oh something is about to happen factor.
it was amazing
Alexandra was a 19 year old who has been given a rough start in life, her parents splitting up and the father taking both Leah and Alexandra to live in Ireland. Their mother was a drug addict and slowly dragged Leah down a dark path after their fathers death, that Alexandra couldn’t drag her from, desperate to earn enough money to survive. Until she felt that she had hit rock bottom, looking on the computer in the local library to find ways to earn money the only thing if value she has was herself, stumbling on the dark websites she comes across a website where she sell her virginity for $10 thousand dollars. What she didn’t expect was for a man to buy her and not want her virginity. Erik couldn’t let this one go. Read to discover how being brought by Erik proved to be her saviour. A highly captivating read with amazing sexual chemistry even after Erik’s cruel treatment Alexandra’s heart saw through his behaviour.
SPEECHLESS!! JUST SPEECHLESS!! SAVOIR by Fiona Cola was such a Rollercoaster ride of Emotional distress and Heartwreching Aching Pains! Beautifully Written and into a World of the UNKNOWN Darkness of the Cyber World. Like playing Cat and Mouse but Evilness lurking in the corners.
The characters grab you from the Very Beginning of Savior and never a Dull moment page after page which I devoured it in ONE Sitting!! I will say this my Favorite Story from Fiona even though Erik pissed me off! But he feels responsible for what happened in his past that he doesn’t want a Repeat as he is trying to help out navie Alexandra. And Oh! My! The chemistry between the two characters are Off the Charts Hot and Entertaining at the same time you want to Throw your Tablet across the room!
Not to Spoil anything for you since there is So much Adventure and Passion that Have you guessing what’s going to happen next. But I will warn you, there are some dark things going on that will Leave you Speechless!
Definitely A Must Read Book with its Dark and Entertaining secrets!!
This storyline really intrigued me and I couldn’t stop reading! Alexandra finds herself in an extremely tough situation and stumbles upon a desperate way out. Thankfully, Erik has committed himself to rescuing girls in a somewhat similar situation, but noticing this situation is different and treats it as such. The instant attraction and denial between the two is amusing to read along with the witty banter back and forth regarding said denial. Erik breaks all his rules for Alexandra and eventually they succumb to their feelings and attraction. What I really liked about this book is that it highlighted that people don’t change and sometimes you can’t save people especially when they don’t want to be, like Alex’s sister. The situation she puts Alex in had me invested in the story and rooting for Erik to save the day yet again. Thankfully, this is a story with a HEA, for Erik and Alex as a couple as well as Alex in getting her life back and onto a normal track. Hoping there’s a next book involving Erik’s sister or his business partners!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Sweet Holy Hell. This author can write some steamy angst. This has been one of my most anticipated books of 2019 and after reading it I can definitely say that it deserved to be there.
One of my favorite things about this author is that she is not afraid to discuss subjects that are hard to read about. What I thought this story was going to be about due to the blurb was entirely different than how it turned out. I figured it would be a taboo romance. It was SO much more than that. Just like it is important to not judge a book by its cover don’t assume to know what the book is about just based off the blurb. The subject matter was heartbreaking. the underlying backstory was sad and made me want to know more about the characters involved and how it still affects them today. Not as much Erik, because the author explained that remarkably but the family and in particular Hannah. (I really hope eventually her story is told.)
The characters were intense. Erik had his moments that I questioned why I liked him because he said and acted in some pretty questionable ways. However, his motives were always good even if he went about it wrong. Alex. It was hard to remember how young she was because she seemed so mature in so many ways. Feisty and strongwilled. I liked her. I felt for her. The secondary characters were also amazing. I really wanted to know more about Ian and Jared. It was also nice to see Carina(from The Lovers) make an appearance in the story. I absolutely loved her and desperately wanted to see more of her after her story had ended.
Sadly, the backstory of this story is something that breaks my heart, especially as it becomes more and more common. It is one area that I wish just stayed in fiction instead of being a growing problem. That being said, the author covered it with grace and care. I loved the idea of Haven and the purpose behind it all that much more because of the reason it was worked into the story (not that I wish that Haven needed to exist at all).
Again, hands down another hit from this author. She truly gets better with every book. I highly recommend this book. Off topic, YAY for Ian’s story next and can I just say that the ending?!?! HOLY TITFIRE.
Fiona Cole definitely knows how to bring on the heat in anything she publishes. Savior is another angsty, steamy, and down right delicious story. Erik and Alexandra’s relationship was instantaneous, but Erick did everything he could to stay away from her, which included some pretty cruel actions. The heat stayed high and completely in front of you throughout the story, leaving me hanging on the edge so often. I think it dipped a little toward the ending, which makes this more of a 4.5 read for me. This is the first story in a while that I’ve wanted to absolutely punch the hero though. Be prepared to be throwing your kindle in a rage due to his actions! But definitely another steamy story not to be missed.
Wow what a book! This one will defiantly have your heart pumping with adrenaline. Erik has such a hard exterior but his reasoning for it is understandable and heartbreaking. This story will make you laugh with the bickering and banter and have you crying with the hurt you can feel in the words.
Everything by Fiona is absolutely fantastic!
It started with Voyeur (my top read of 2018) and continued with Lovers and now we have Savior.
Erik is a grade A a-hole and Alexandra is as green as they come.
Through the book we learn why Erik is the way he is and why he does what he does.
There are so many emotions this book takes you through sometimes several on a page.
I have said before but I will read everything Fiona writes, it is all so deliciously naughty!
Holy hotness!! Once again, Fiona Cole has written an incredible story that I couldn’t put down. Absolutely loved the chemistry between Erik and Alexandra. Didn’t matter the age difference between them, or the fact that she was a virgin, those two just had that instant spark and connection that they wouldn’t be able to ignore. Erik sure gave it a shot, as he was a complete a*hole to Alexandra for quite sometime while he was trying to deny his attraction to her. But, after one particularly traumatic experience……both of them knew they couldn’t fight it any longer.
I do have to say that one of my favorite parts was the little easter egg that she included in the story. Brought me back to the first time I read one of her stories and it absolutely made me smile!
And that lead in to Carina’s story?? Oh yes please!! I cannot wait to see how that all plays out!!
Virginity for sale, cocky jerk who needs to be throat punched with a deep down do-gooder heart, sexual tension and angst, what’s not to like? Alexandra finds herself in a bind, that kind where she needs money ASAP and doesn’t have anything to offer worth a decent price besides her virginity. Erik spots the ad and goes in for the sale, but not because he wants to claim her for himself, but to spare her the distress and pain of being snatched up by someone much less savory given her innocence and how he knows firsthand that people are cruel. But that’s all Erik can offer her – a safe place to start over. A relationship or anything of the kind with him is not available on the table whatsoever. And this is where the dance between them ratchets up because Erik keeps a close eye on Alexandra while she provokes him and then he retaliates in return. What he does to push her away would work on any woman because it’s a total turn off. I liked both of the characters, but their emotional connection could’ve been built up more although I liked the conflict warring within Erik. As for Alexandra, she was still fresh to the independent adult scene so some of her immaturity matched her age. There’s a slight suspense and dark edge to this story, which added to the seriousness of the tone to keep things in perspective for the characters. I liked where things concluded and I’m definitely interested in the next story that Fiona Cole has brewing based on the revelation at the end for some other characters.
Oh. My. God. This book!! It is incredible!! I wish I could give it more than 5 stars!! Gah!! This is way more than your normal virgin for sale story. It’s about second chances at life. It’s about allowing yourself to love. Erik and Alexandra’s story is messy, intense and raw. It’s perfect, even when Erik is such an a$$hole. It all makes sense, even if it’s a little f’d up, when you know the whole story. Everyone needs a Savior in their life and Fiona Cole has served us up the perfect one.
5 !!!
Hello age-gap, angst, and alpha male! Savior gave me all of the tropes that I love to read about! I was blown away (as usual) by Fiona’s ability to write such emotionally charged stories that make you feel all the feelings.
Alex and Erik are two tortured souls, destined to be together. Alex is struggling to make enough money to make ends meet, and is caught up with her sister and sister’s boyfriend who are both into drugs. She decides to sell her virginity for $10,000 to get out of the hole. Enter Erik. He bought her, but not to take her virginity. He wanted to save her…in order to avenge for his past that he feels so guilty about. Throughout this book, I felt the chemistry (it was off the effing charts!), the angst, and the passion. I was so mad at times for Erik continuously pushing Alex away, but knew he had his reasons. In the end, they saved each other, which is probably my favorite aspect of this book <3 Overall, this was nothing short of AMAZING, as is every Fiona book.
Never before have I wanted to throat punch a guy as much as I did Erik!! If I could have put my hands through my kindle into his little world I would have tried to shake some sense into him!! I get why he was acting that way, and one could even argue there was justifications but still I hated him at times. What a jerk!! I am so glad he redeemed himself in the end, and aren’t those some of our favorite characters!
Alexandra is a very naive and sheltered girl for all that she has seen and dealt with. I loved seeing her come into her own, gaining confidence and really blossoming.
This book is full of sexual tension, a dash of angst and a whole lot of emotions from one end to the other!!
