RARE: Rescue and Retrieval Extractions -they took on the missions that no one else wanted and did not stop until the job was done After a mission gone horribly wrong, Storm Alexander finds herself a prisoner of RARE’s sworn enemy…The General. She has always been a warrior, one to stand up for what she believes in, but one thing is for certain. If she does not find a way to escape soon, she may … escape soon, she may not live long enough to fight again. Just when Storm thinks she cannot continue, his voice whispers through her mind. Don’t give up, my mate.
Steele Maddox used to be one of the General’s most trusted soldiers, until he made one crucial mistake. Now he lives in captivity, tortured and experimented on daily. He stays strong and endures the hell he has found himself in for two reasons, and two reasons only; until he catches her scent.
Time is running out, and a decision must be made. Will Steele and Storm fight for one another? Will Steele choose to save Storm, or will he stay in hell to keep his loved ones safe?
Dawn Sullivan’s RARE Series and White River Wolves Series are intertwined, and meant to be read in the following order:
Nico’s Heart (RARE)
Phoenix’s Fate (RARE)
Josie’s Miracle (White River Wolves)
Trace’s Temptation (RARE)
Slade’s Desire (White River Wolves)
Saving Storm (RARE)
Angel’s Destiny (RARE)
Janie’s Salvation (White River Wolves)
more
Angel and most of those from RARE are in healing mode from the last fight with the General’s goons. How could one of their own be taken?
Well the monster has Storm. Jinx is doing all he can but it may not be enough and who is speaking to Storm in her head? A few on the team do not trust Jinx. Angel just can’t get over that her Ex whom she thought dead is not and that her children with him Jade and Jinx were alive and one now was mated to one of her teammates.
Can the team finally take down the general?
Storm has so much to think on and first and foremost was getting free until she senses something in her head while being held captive.
It can’t be can it? Steele knows who Storm is to him and he will do all it takes to save her.
I loved the previous books in this series and the author did not disappoint with this one. We find out so much more and there is much more to come. We get action, romance and strength of family and surprises galore. And sorry but yes we get a cliffhanger.
I love this series.
This is another fast paced, romantic suspense with wonderful characters and a intriguing storyline.
I liked how this book shows different sides or reasons for choices that are made. I know that a some people don’t have any love for Steele, but you have to look at the big picture…why did he make the choices he made? I enjoyed this book, learning more about Angel’s ex, the father of her children, and why he was involved with the General in the first place. Jinx is pretty much the same… you know why he does what he does, you have compassion for him and are rooting for him, for him to find his one, his mate, his happily ever after. Poor Storm, though… I cried! Storm being tortured the way she was… I don’t want to give too much away, so I’ll just end with saying that this book flowed well with the others and I would definitely recommend it!
Saving Storm was well worth the wait. One thing I love about Mrs Sullivan is her books are never predictable. This one kept me o my feet. Storm is someone I wish I could be. This is a must read..
A series that is filled with suspense and one that continues to keep you on your toes. Being help prisoner and experimented on is probably not the time to meet your mate for the first time. But that’s what happens to Steele when the General kidnaps Storm a member of the RARE group. Totally fell in love with their characters, their interactions and the way they work together. Can’t wait for more in this series.
So only a few months ago I started reading this series by Dawn Sullivan. And honestly, I’m sorry I waited and frustrated I started now LMAO!!! This series (with White River Wolves series mixed in) has to be some of my most favorite reads so far. The ability that the author has of telling a story, keeping you hooked and making you fall in love with each character – even if they didn’t seem likable before (Steele). But that is where these series just hold me captive. You find out so much about each character as you follow their journey that you become emotionally attached to them (Yes, even though they are fake LOL). They are well developed and life like that it’s truly hard to believe that they aren’t real, in all honesty.
Storm and Steele’s story is no different than any of the 7 books (2 series remember; RARE and White River Wolves) so far. Only in some aspects it was more heart stopping than the last. I can’t even tell you the pain I felt for both of these characters as they fought through the torment that the General put them through and then they put themselves through to ‘save’ the other. My heart was racing through this whole story and my mind continues to go over the rollercoaster of emotions that the author just carried me through.
She has easily climbed the charts into my favorite authors list… Even in the top 10. Even if paranormal is not your thing… You don’t want to miss out on this series. I’m glad that I gave it a chance (instead of judging it on past paranormal that I’ve read and not liked). Each book is better than the last and each time you are left in more pieces, though some of them have mended by the end of the book. The author leaves you hanging on the next characters and leaves you anxiously wanting the next.
