Quinn Adams is a firefighter who doesn’t have the time, or desire, for a relationship. He’s seen too much to believe in fairy tales. Paige Harrington is a kindergarten teacher who believes life should be filled with adventure, including love, despite tragedy in her past. The two share a chemistry that sets both of their hearts on fire. Will Paige be able to convince Quinn that love can save them … them both?

Had a hard time really finding my groove with this book… Quinn is so indecisive and Paige seems too Pollyanna-like to really take seriously at times. However, great writing by Kimberley O’Malley once again written a great addition to the Windsor Falls series.
This is the 4th book in the Windsor Falls series that I’ve read. I had no idea what to expect from the 4th book. I loved this story as much as the others. It was an easy read and difficult to put down. This book is a definite tear jerker and sad. I liked the character pairs. They were perfect combos. Amy & AJ and Paige & Quinn. As much as this book was Paige & Quinn’s story. It was also about Amy & AJ. I needed lots of Kleenex when reading about the undoing of AJ & Amy. It was hard to read through the tears. In the end through everything Quinn figures out what he wants in life. Paige just happens to be it.
I have really enjoyed this series. Quin and Paige were two great characters in this story and as much as Quinn didn’t want a relationship and him being a firefighter was a nice touch to the story. This was a page turner for me with all the emotions I felt well reading this story.
I loved Quinn. He was a good all-around guy. He just lets the past prevent him from being happy and committed. Paige is girl-next-door sweet and happens to get a little crush on the man who rescues her and keeps her calm in a stressful situation. Their relationship is fun, flirty and casual. It’s a fun read. I loved the main characters and the cast of “family.” There were a myriad of emotion that made the characters relatable.
I have read all of the Windsor Falls books and Quinn and Paige’s story is definitely one of my favorites in this series.
Quinn is a firefighter who has sworn he never wants to get married or have children because when he was younger his father who was also a firefighter died while on the job. He doesn’t want the same thing that happened to him and his mother because of his fathers death.
Paige is a teacher who lost both of her parents in a car accident when she was a little girl but so desperately tries to live each day to the fullest. Paige meets Quinn when she herself is in a car accident and is injured and scared. For Quinn there’s just something about Paige that he can’t stop thinking about in spite of his vow to never get into a “committed” relationship. Even though he warned her about his rule and that he wouldn’t fall in love Paige begins to fall and soon so does Quinn.
There were so many struggles and tragedies that I was ugly crying! This was such a fantastic read and I can’t wait for more from Kimberley and WindsorFalls.
Quinn is a firefighter who avoids emotional entanglements at all costs. He rescues Paige one night and he can’t seem to shake her off of his mind. He also flips houses for a living, so when she needs some help with her old house, he is happy to help her …in more than one way! Paige tried not to get attached to the emotional unavailable Quinn, but she just couldn’t help herself. He can’t seem to keep away from Paige, although he doesn’t ever want to get married…what if he doesn’t come home from a fire? If you like a little angst, and definite push/pull in your books, then this book is for you. As with all of this Author’s books, there is quick resolution at the very end…some may feel it Is rushed, but if you have read the other books in the series you know this the author’s style. All in all a good read.
Lovely story, firefighter and teacher. Obstacles, problems, to overcome in order to find love, peace and a future. Well written, developed characters, I just fell in love with the story. Can’t wait to read more. Recommended.
I really enjoyed this book. It’s now my favorite in this series. I loved that Paige brought a lightness to Quinn’s life. They were just meant to be together.
Welcome to Windsor Fall where love is in the air. Or is it? In this installment we get to meet Quinn, a local fireman has seen families broken apart by the devastation of having a fireman in the house. He has vowed to not be any part of that. He spends his time renovating and flipping houses when he is not working. But on a call one morning, he meets an accident victim that could change his thoughts. But can he let that happen?
Paige Harrington is a local kindergarten teacher. Her job keeps her busy and she loves what she does. She’s not lucky with men. They want a warm body, she wants someone who wants her for who she is. Convinced that doesn’t exist, she throws herself into work and her studies until a storm and an accident one morning on the way to school change her mind. Quinn kept her comfortable while waiting for an ambulance and she can’t seem to put the fireman out of her mind. She soon finds out they have major chemistry but too much thinking blocking their path.
I am truly enjoying this series. The characters fight through their personal battles to find what they are looking for. It may be frustrating at times, but Kimberley O’Malley has a way of making you cheer at the end. Thank you Kimberley O’Malley for keeping us going in Windsor Falls. I can’t wait for the next installment.
Quinn Adams is a firefighter who meets a woman named Paige at the scene of an accident and can’t get her out of his mind. But Quinn doesn’t do relationships since his father was a firefighter who was killed in the line of duty and he saw what his mom had to go through.
Paige Harrington is a kindergarten teacher and is best friends with Amy Windsor. Paige isn’t too interested in a long term relationship but knows she wants to find someone who loves her for the right reasons and lets her be herself.
When Quinn and Paige meet up again after the accident they have immediate chemistry but every time they get close Quinn pushes Paige away. When Paige receives flowers from a mystery man Quinn must decide if her is finally ready to let Paige in. Then the unthinkable happens and Quinn must reevaluate everything.
This was a great book about our defenses and when you finally need to let them down.
I liked Quinn but I was definitely frustrated at his personal views on relationships but I did understand why he had his guard up. He was loyal to those around him and had a great friendship with his best friend Andrew Jackson who had the complete opposite view as him.
I thought Paige was a great character and I loved how independent she was. I understood why she was mad about the “men” in her life deciding what was best for her and not letting her think for herself. I was surprised at how the mystery man was initially and then it made me laugh at how he just wasn’t comprehending about how he didn’t get it.
I was definitely frustrated at how Quinn treated Paige but I love how she was supported by her friends.
My heart was definitely broken towards the end of the book but I was glad how everything fell into place.
KIMBERLEY O’MALLEY DID IT AGAIN!! SAVING QUINN is Such an Emotional Rollercoaster Ride of Raw Emotions with the characters themselves plus friendships!! I was Laughing out loud and hurting at the same time!!! This Book is NOT for the Faint of Hearts because it deals with sensitive subjects and caution when relationships are concerned. This Whole Town of Windsor Falls and characters throughout this series, Overall keeps me on my toes and put into Their World from the moment I started Reading the their stories!! I’m NOT going to Put any Spoilers because this Book is Beautifully written and it has All the Feels you can ask for AND MORE!!! I Guarantee you will Need some Tissues handy because SAVING QUINN will have you from the Very beginning and Melting your Heart strings!!! A MUST READ BOOK!!! HANDS DOWNS!!
An emotional and heartfelt read that had me from page one. I really enjoyed this story and Paige and Quinn’s journey. A page turner for sure.
Loved the way this author brought real life to the story. If any of you have lived the life of men or women that risks their life everyday on the job. You will relate to the thinking of this author and the way she told the story about the struggle to let anyone in. I loved how the story read really smoothly and that you could follow and feel what the characters were feeling.
Loved yet another couple in this series. Even though the I wanted to smack around Quinn some times, I was still cheering them on. I was devastated for Amy. That broke my heart. Love all the emotions though!
I think so far, this is my favorite book in the series. What an emotional roller-coaster! Quinn is a firefighter who doesn’t want a relationship because of his dad dying in the line of duty. Paige was a teacher who started falling for Quinn after she got in an accident and he ended up being on the scene & then brought her stuff to her in the hospital. They both start falling for each other even though she knows he’s rules. You won’t be disappointed when reading this. and if you’re a crier, then you’ll cry like I did. But it was still a great book!
Really sweet romance with an emotional twist and some suspense thrown in. Nice easy read, keeps the reader’s attention. This book had less interaction with previous main characters than previous books, but introduced new characters with lots of potential for new books.
Awesome read very emotional and realistic . You definitely will get all the feels, this book had me on a emotional roller coaster
This is book 4 in the Windsor Falls book series. You don’t need the first three to read the series. They are all stand alones but you do hear about the othe characters. This story is about Quinn and Paige. Quinn is a an alpha male firefighter. He knows what he wants in a relationship, nothing. He has his rules and he lets the ladies know right up front. Paige is a kindergarten teacher in Windsor Falls. She meets Quinn when he keeps her calm when she was in an accident. Sparks are flying with these 2. But with Quinns hangups it won’t go anywhere. I loved this story. Kimberley O’Mallet didnt disappoint in this book. I cant wait for book 5.
O’Malley has written another fabulous book. Quinn and Paige will make you want see them fall in love. It takes a relationship that is one of convience to overcoming obstacles to get together. I loved the book, but wished the ending was slightly different. However, I believe the author left it that way for another book in this series. Love the series and can’t wait to read the next one.
Just the absolute best story. Everything I like to read about and more. Such a great story I will read again and again. A keeper!!
