We forgive murderers, not pedophiles. Not since Lionel Shriver brought us We Need to Talk About Kevin has a writer delved into the complexities of a disturbed mother/son relationship. Until now. Meet Noah—an A-honor roll student, award-winning swimmer, and small-town star destined for greatness. There weren’t any signs that something was wrong until the day he confesses to molesting little girls … confesses to molesting little girls during swim team practice. He’s sentenced to eighteen months in a juvenile sexual rehabilitation center.
His mother, Adrianne, refuses to turn her back on him despite his horrific crimes, but her husband won’t allow Noah back into their home. In a series of shocking and shattering revelations, Adrianne is forced to make the hardest decision of her life. Just how far will she go to protect her son?
Saving Noah challenges everything you think you know about teenage sexual offenders. It will keep you up at night long after you’ve read the last page, questioning beliefs you once thought were true.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was well written and it is a book that will stay with me for a very long time. Loved it!
Poor writing, disappointing characters, implausible scenarios.
great read
This was a tragic story with heart- rendering family crises that make you really think! I found myself empathizing with all the characters, each living their own special Hell! A page turner of personal pain and the ultimate decision making extremes. I couldn’t put it down but I didn’t want to know what came next. The title is perfect! Highly recommend!
Very unusual topic. Never thought I’d be sympathetic toward a pedophile, but this story is able to just about do it. Well done.
Difficult topic covered realistically from the the emotional impact of a family.
very good book although the end was troubling to me
Once you start, you can’t put it down. Life can be so tragic.
A book which can change your mind on a subject that is very controversial. The author is skilled at her craft, because she gives the story all sides. It is a masterpiece!
Absolutely wonderful book. Heartbreaking and thought provoking.
I couldn’t put this one down! It was painful to imagine myself in this woman’s situation and to try to figure out what, if anything else, could have been done.
Enjoyed this book! Extremely thought provoking. No one knows what they would do unless they were in the actual situation.
A twist at the end is sad and also scary.
Don’t think I could read it again too gut wrenching. Certainly made me look at pediphilia from a whole different standpoint. Sad and tragic.
Although this was a fairly dark story I stayed with it to the end. I found it informative & sad.
Makes you re-examine how you things
Noah was a model high school student until he confessed to sexually molesting little girls in a swim class he taught. What happens to him and his family after he confessed makes for a very good read.
read this in one sitting could not put it down. So many mixed emotions wonderfully written
Okay, but predictable
This was my first book by this author and I’m reading the rest. The subject matter is taboo (pedophilia) but she handles it in such a way that you are really rooting for Noah and his family. It’s also a story about family and one mother’s lover for her son and the lengths that she will go for her son. If you’re not scared off by the subject matter I would highly recommend this book to anyone. It’s fast paced and I absolutely did not see the ending coming. This will be a book that I remember for a long time (which means the author wrote something that really touched me). Highly recommend!
