Someone was watching her. Evie gripped her keys and glanced around.
Across the alley, a pair of luminous green eyes stared at her from the shadows.
Her heart kicked into a gallop. “Jace? Is that you?”
Please let it be him.
He stepped out of the shadows. She blew out a breath. It was Jace.
He crossed the alley in a few long, loose strides. An atavistic tremor went down her spine. This was the real Jace—and he was nothing like the injured, feverish victim of last week. No, this man was dark. Powerful. Raw-boned. A panther in a T-shirt and jeans.
She squared her shoulders and lifted her chin, because damn it, she’d saved the man’s life. She refused to let him spook her.
He stopped a few feet away. “Hello, Evie.”
He was bigger than she remembered, but then, last week he’d been hunched over nursing his injuries. Now she realized he was a good half foot taller than her with the lean, hard build of a soldier. Another shiver went down her spine—but this one had nothing to do with fear.
THE FADA.
Shapeshifters created during Dionysus’s infamous bacchanals.
They’re dark, ruthless, untamed—and when they love, it’s forever.

It was ok but again it wasn’t one I couldn’t put down.
It was enjoyable
I enjoyed this book. It wasn’t a can’t put it down book, but it was a want to keep reading to see what’s going to happen next book.
I do think readers should read the other series that tie into this series just to understand everything more clearly ( the fae, human and fads interactions) and also to get the stories on some of the characters already mated that the reader may meet in this book. (As well as to get a good grasp on events leading up to this book).
Can be read as a standalone, but reader needs to take their time to follow along with everything ( events, characters, etc)
Jace needs a soft side again. Evie needs a man to lean on and help with Kyler. Between the two of them they go on a very dangerous adventure that will lead to the best thing they could ever hope for. Love.
A bit predictable but an interesting read and story line.
Very original but believable
This is a great paranormal story. Loved the interaction between the characters.
HEA with an underlining story.
It did start a little slow but picked up quickly to the point I did not put it down until the last page.
World building was great , full of suspense , steamy romance, and great twists.
I would recommend this book to adults who love paranormal, suspenseful romance books.
I lost interest around 3rd or 4th chapter.. To many fae things going on. I’ve never read about so many of them, just got bored with the repetitive descriptions of them.. I quit it and deleted it
The book was a page turner. I liked the characters and how they have each other’s back. How the characters brought out each other’s strengths. Good read.
Was interesting. Different take on shifters. If you like shifter stories with romance this is a good book.
I loved it!
Gave up after reaching 40%. Just didn’t care anymore about the characters/plot.
