Loving yourself is the first step on the road to healing.Welcome to Seattle, the Emerald City and home to The Single Dads of Seattle. Ten sexy single fathers who play poker every Saturday night, have each other’s backs, love their children without quarter, and hope to one day find love again. This is Mitch’s story …Single dad of Seattle, Mitch Benson can’t move, can’t blink, can’t think, let … move, can’t blink, can’t think, let alone do his job and photograph the woman on stage. Every fiber of his body wakes up when Paige McPherson starts to dance. She pours out her heart, bares her grief and pain for the world to see–the same grief and pain that has ruled his every waking moment since his wife passed and left him to raise their daughter alone. Paige is dancing his truth, and in that moment, Mitch knows his life is going to change.
Paige never thought she’d notice a man again, but there’s no ignoring Mitch–or the message in the photographs he takes. Learning to dance has reignited her passion for life and shattered the protective shell she’s built around her heart. That’s not good–no matter what anyone else says, it’s her fault she lost her son, and while she’s on the healing path, it’s a long journey and one she’s determined to take alone.
Mitch knows Paige thinks she doesn’t deserve a second chance at love, but he can’t bear to back away from the one woman who makes him feel alive again. He’s willing to fight for their future, whatever it takes.
Paige can’t deny her attraction for Mitch, but moving forward means betraying her past. Now she’s faced with a new dilemma–quit her job as the head pastry chef at a very prestigious Seattle restaurant and strike off on her own, or stay working for the boss from hell. Paige isn’t sure she’s ready for all the changes. Can the single dad save her in time? Or will grief and indecision swallow her whole?
**Note: This book can be read as a standalone. It includes lots of steamy scenes, cursing, and of course as with all my books, this has an HEA and no cliffhanger or cheating. If you like single dads who take charge, this book is for you.

These books just keep getting better! Mitch and Paige are a match made in heaven! Mitch is captivated by Paige and cannot take his eyes off of her. He knows what she has been through but cannot keep his distance. Paige is trying her best to heal and has lost confidence in herself. A single mother who has seemingly lost herself. Mitch takes all of those insecurities and grief and turns it into something beautiful. A man with his own hurt and loss, daughters who are best friends, and a love that cannot be denied! Another fantastic addition to the single dads world! I can’t wait for the next one!
Saved by the Single Dad by Whitley Cox. This book is part of a series, but each story can be read as a standalone. But characters from other stories in this series are weaved into each story, some people may prefer to start from book one just to keep up with who is who. There is a lot of drama, personal conflicts, pain, and passion in this story and it made it very heartfelt. I liked the characters I thought they were strong in their own right but together they were fierce and loving. Great story and I will continue to read more in series. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Paige has a painful past and she is trying to pick up the pieces and move forward with her life. She believes that she is destined to do it on her own and the only outlet for her pain is dancing.
Mitch has endured a tragic loss of his own but he has handled it completely different. Rather than closing himself off he has put everything he has into his daughter.
From the moment that he sees Paige he senses a kindred spirit and wants to help her start living again. Will they be able to help each other heal or is the pain of their pasts too much to overcome?
This is a heartbreaking and heartwarming story about loss, love, family and new beginnings.
The book is a good romantic comedy read. The story has a good story line. The characters are good, and they have good chemistry. The story is an enjoyable emotional, and heartwarming romance read.

5 star review of Saved By The Single Dad (The Single Dads of Seattle #3) by Whitley Cox
This series has fast become one of my favourite series. Having read the first couple of books in the series, I was excited to read Mitch and Paige’s story. I love single parent books and this has fast become one of my go to genres.
Saved By The Single Dad is my favourite so far. What an emotional roller coaster of a read this book was. I cannot remember the last time I wanted a couple to get their happily ever after as I did Mitch and Paige.
I knew going in to this story that my emotions were going to be all over the place but wow,
Whitley Cox, really ticked all the boxes on this one.
Paige has closed herself off from life, having lost so much, she has no plans to fall in love, whilst Mitch is immediately attracted to the beautiful pastry chef.
However neither Mitch or Paige can ignore the smouldering chemistry and feelings that sizzle between them.
Can Mitch convince Paige to take a leap of faith? Will the tragedies of their pasts be to hard to overcome? Can their blossoming love bring together these two lost and lonely souls?
There were times when I laughed and times where I cried. It will make you swoon and I think you will be hard pressed not to fall in love with all of the characters.
I loved that we see the other members of the club. The camaraderie and friendships amongst the men is awesome. Their banter had me laughing so much at times as did the antics of Mira and the other children.
Saved by the Single Dad is not only a story about overcoming loss, of working through ones grief, it is a story of friendship, of taking a leap of faith and taking a chance on love.
This series is fast becoming my one of my favourite reads of 2019, I love everything about every book I have read so far. This author writes beautifully written love stories about a group of men who have stolen my heart, I’m captivated by everyone of them and as soon as I finish one book I’m ready for the next. This book has all the feels I want and expect in a great read and this author covered the emotional side of miscarriage with compassion and it’s a story that touched me on so many levels.
Mitch and Paige are perfect for each other but can Mitch make Paige see the woman he see’s when he looks at her and can he make her see the strong brave woman he knows she is but more importantly can Paige accept everything Mitch has to offer…….
An emotional, steamy read that captivated me from the first page to the last line, it was great not only reading about Mitch and Paige but also catching up with the single dads from Seattle, it was great joining the poker night for some fun and I can’t wait to see who’s story is next. This series is a must read for single dad and all romance lovers.
I gotta say for a romance dealing with the heavy subjects of Saved by the Single Dad, it was a joyful read. I know that sounds a bit disconcerting but Mitch is such an upbeat guy, even with his loss. Once he spots Paige, he wants to get close to her. He shows her with every word and gesture how amazing she is to him. Paige is dealing with the aftermath of some terrible losses and dancing is something she can do as a creative outlet. It is really helping but she is still very wary when Mitch shows his interest. She can’t see herself the way he does but she takes a chance. Their story is truly a beautiful tale of two people who are meant to be together. They balance and compliment each other and it is amazing to have a front row seat to their lives. Ms Cox has a great talent for breathing life into real characters that steal you heart. I cannot wait to see more of the Single Dads of Seattle!
The story between Mitch & Paige is heart gripping. Mitch is a single dad struggling to raise his daughter while grieving over the loss of his wife when he meets his friend Adam’s ex Paige & he’s knocked off feet. With all that Mitch has gone thru since the loss of his wife he’s taken off guard by his instant attraction to Paige who he pursues. Paige is also hesitantly attracted to Mitch but because she doesn’t think she deserves a second chance. Struggling with the losses of so many miscarriages that she blames herself for she can’t let herself love again. Mitch doesn’t give up & helps Paige start to love herself again, helping her deal with those losses & understand she’s not to blame. This love story grips your heart, makes you cry as you follow Paige’s heartbreak over her lost babies, you cry with her as she reveals her deepest, darkest fears & you rejoice as she dares to love again & follow her dreams. This is a wonderful, moving, & well written story. The chemistry between Mitch & Paige jumps off the pages & keeps you turning the pages. The Single Dad Series is Amazing & Saved by the Single Dad is one of top hits in this series. I absolutely loved this book!
4 1/2 stars
Be aware that this book hits on emotional situations that could activate emotional triggers ** multiple miscarriage**
This is book 3 of the series, but can be read as a stand alone. I have not read the previous books, but have plans to go back and read them.
I loved this book. It got really deep into the mindset of emotional distress of both men and women in emotional situations. It really tugged on the heart strings and made my heart ache. It took me on an emotional roller coaster ride and it was so worth the time it took to read this.
However, I hope this goes through a good beta read, I caught many small errors throughout this book, even a wrong name used at one point.
Written as a 3rd person, multi pov with a HEA ending. Strong characters, awesome description to detail, fantastic story line, and engaging dialogue. All in all, a fantastic read.
Would I recommend this book? Yes
Would I read more from this author? Yes

The third book in the Single Dads of Seattle, this story picks up right where the second book bout Adam and Violet left off. Mitchel, we know as the widowed brother of ballerina Violet, who is living with Violet to help him rear his motherless six-year-old daughter. Paige is Adam’s ex-wife, who has suffered deep depression after numerous miscarriages and then the stillbirth of their son. Yet when these two meet they become the hope and strength each needs to overcome grief enough to move on. The Saturday night single dads’ poker compadres are great friends to Mitchel and Paige has her parents and co-workers as supporters and friends. But there are many villains and ghosts to come to terms with. Will they share their vulnerabilities? Will they let themselves be saved by the other? I laughed a lot and shed plenty of tears. Recommended reading!
This series by Whitley Cox is absolutely wonderful. I fully advise reading these books in order. The series follows a different single dad, from the group of Seattle single dads, as the men overcome their past to move on to finding true love. This is book 3 and Mitch’s story.
Loss of any kind can change ones life and that loss has affected Mitch and Paige in debilitating ways. They have both lost love ones and are still in the stages of healing. Neither of them expected to find love and move on, but together they find a new future. This author really has written an emotional book that guides us through the stages of grief and the baby steps it takes to move forward and make new life goals. I love how this grief did not just affect the main two characters, but other secondary characters too. You will really feel the emotions of all the characters in this book and actually in the whole series. I love this group of guys and the realistic story lines that we can all relate to in some way. Plus, there are some very detailed sexy scenes that just add to the story. Excited for the next book
Wow! What a fantastic story!
This book is Paige and Mitch’s story. It’s full of loss, heartbreak and the journey back to regaining their life. It was a very emotional story! It drew me in and kept me reading until the end! I didn’t want it to end! I love the Single Dads of Seattle series! I know we’ll be hearing more from Paige and Mitch in future books!
This book is one of those hidden gems in my opinion. I was expecting a book where they see each other and hit it off right away. With a great deal of hot steamy sexy times. That the hero was into having control. Well, he is but not the way I thought. What I got was something more. They have great chemistry and attraction. I also got heavy drama and angst with a little girl that makes you fall in love with her.

Saved By The Single Dad is the prize winner in this series to date. The author takes you on a multitude of emotions that at times will have your heart just about bursting out of your chest. As Mitch and Paige burrow their way deep under your skin you will feel the heartache that these two have suffered from their losses. Paige is a character that you will admire, respect and be inspired by. Mitch is a man not seeking out love but embraces it all the same when it stares him right in the face. Their story is emotional, inspirational, empowering and poignant. A story that will make you laugh, cry and everything in between. These two light up the pages even in the darkest of times. If it is passion and a soul-stirring story you are looking for, then your search is over.
Mitch and Paige are practically related…his sister is dating her ex. They have both faced trauma and loss. Perhaps they can find something in the ashes to give to each other. Learn that the bad things life throws at you don’t mean you failed, but that you made it through. I enjoyed this read and will read the next one.

If you have read the other two books before this one
you will already on Paige’s story of her lost .
Paige is still filling the lost of all the losses she has had
and still taking it slow with her daughter.
Mitch was absolutely hooked the first time he saw her.
Mitch was taking photos of his sister dance school students
dancing in the park when Paige had a solo performance of a beginner
student when she was dancing she was putting all of herself .
That’s is how Mitch and Paige met it was not smooth sailing to there
relationship. Just is I thought I new how the story was going to end there
was a twist thrown in .
This is a absolutely beautifully told story of lost and coming alive again.

So loved this story and it’s emotions! The story pulls you in and you feel every bit of angst and emotions! I can’t wait for the next one in the series!
This was really good. I have to say that I had to cry reading this book. It was so heartfelt and heart wrenching too. I read when you read her story, you see and possibly understand why she was the was. It took a person that experienced tramatic loss to pull her in the right direction. She especially deserved happiness after all that she had been through. Mitch learned a lot from her. You can be strong and still 0retend that things are okay. He wasn’t okay with his wife’s and childrens death at all. You can’t fake it til you make it with that type of burden. They helped each other so much. In the end, it was what they needed to grow together.

Absolutely loved this book! Mitch and Paige had me hooked from the very beginning. He was so patient with her trying to show her how courageous she is and how she can be loved by him. I also like how the single dads are always there to lend a hand when needed.
Whitley is my favorite new writer! I can’t get enough of her books!
This is a story about loss, devastation and the willingness and support to fight back and regain your life. Both Paige and Mitch have gone through terrible losses and while Mitch used the love he had for his daughter to survive, unfortunately Paige walked away from hers with feeling of self hatred. But fighting back is worth the hard work and the two find a special bond and inner strength to pick up the pieces and allow love in their hearts. Apart they are broken but together they have a new beginning. This story had me wiping tears from my eyes numerous times. With heart warming characters Whitley Cox allows the reader to feel both the highs of highs and the lows of lows. This might just be my favorite couple so far in the series.
