Loving yourself is the first step on the road to healing.Welcome to Seattle, the Emerald City and home to The Single Dads of Seattle. Ten sexy single fathers who play poker every Saturday night, have each other’s backs, love their children without quarter, and hope to one day find love again. This is Mitch’s story …Single dad of Seattle, Mitch Benson can’t move, can’t blink, can’t think, let … move, can’t blink, can’t think, let alone do his job and photograph the woman on stage. Every fiber of his body wakes up when Paige McPherson starts to dance. She pours out her heart, bares her grief and pain for the world to see–the same grief and pain that has ruled his every waking moment since his wife passed and left him to raise their daughter alone. Paige is dancing his truth, and in that moment, Mitch knows his life is going to change.
Paige never thought she’d notice a man again, but there’s no ignoring Mitch–or the message in the photographs he takes. Learning to dance has reignited her passion for life and shattered the protective shell she’s built around her heart. That’s not good–no matter what anyone else says, it’s her fault she lost her son, and while she’s on the healing path, it’s a long journey and one she’s determined to take alone.
Mitch knows Paige thinks she doesn’t deserve a second chance at love, but he can’t bear to back away from the one woman who makes him feel alive again. He’s willing to fight for their future, whatever it takes.
Paige can’t deny her attraction for Mitch, but moving forward means betraying her past. Now she’s faced with a new dilemma–quit her job as the head pastry chef at a very prestigious Seattle restaurant and strike off on her own, or stay working for the boss from hell. Paige isn’t sure she’s ready for all the changes. Can the single dad save her in time? Or will grief and indecision swallow her whole?
**Note: This book can be read as a standalone. It includes lots of steamy scenes, cursing, and of course as with all my books, this has an HEA and no cliffhanger or cheating. If you like single dads who take charge, this book is for you.

Awesome Story & Narration Heartfelt & Riveting!
Saved by the Single Dad
The Single Dads of Seattle, Book 3
By: Whitley Cox
Narrated by: Matt Hicks, Stella Hunter
Whitely Cox continues to wow me with another fabulous addition to her “Single Dads of Seattle” series, a series of standalone books, each one featuring a different single dad from a group of men who bonded and hangout together, play cards, share thoughts and have fun. This third book is Mitch Benson and Paige McPherson’s story, they met in the previous book, “Dancing with the Single Dad” which is Adam and Violet’s story, Mitch is Violet’s brother and Paige is Adam’s ex-wife. Mitch and Violet have a great sibling bond, they help each other and have each other’s back, both are starting their lives over in Seattle, we saw Violet open her dance studio and in this book we see Mitch flourish and come in to his own as well. While photographing the dance event in town, he found his muse, Paige. But Paige was still dealing with her own personal struggles and wanted nothing to do with him or his idea. Mitch had his own struggles, but he hid them well, he also did not give up on Paige and when a nightmare from her past comes back in her life, she has more issues to deal with. But it turns out that gave her the push to do something she always dreamed of doing. It was great to see her come into her own as well. This book quickly became my favorite of the series, I just loved how everything played out, it is a beautifully plotted story with plenty of drama, heartfelt emotions, a touch of angst, humor and some wonderful hot and passionate romance. As always, the children, Jayda and Mira, were adorable. Whitley Cox, thank you for another amazing story and emotional rollercoaster ride, I loved every minute of it.
And for the wonderful narration, Matt Hicks and Stella Hunter were the perfect cast to bring these character and their story to life. They had a complete understanding of the characters they portrayed, gave each a voice that suit their character’s persona to a tee, sounding believable in every role they played and just as I pictured the characters to sound. You could hear how much heart they put into their work as they captured all the characters’ emotions and projected them into their performance. They set the perfect tone for the story and their pacing was spot on, both handled the witty dialogue with ease. These talented narrators are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for this fabulous listen.

Audiobook Review: Saved by the Single Dad (The Single Dads of Seattle # 3) by Whitley Cox, Narrated by Matt Hicks & Stella Hunter
Cox is a whiz of the heart and it shines brightly in every story she writes. With sprinklings of humor and an abundance of emotion Saved by the Single Dad is an inward examination of love from every angle. Mitch and Paige take you through love at it’s most heartbreaking and hope at it’s most beautiful. It’s not always easy to watch but Hicks and Hunter turn it into a profound experience.
Wow..Often with Series the writers fall into a predictable story line, but this was not the case.
Very well written, and a page turner for sure.
Didn’t have the ending I expected, but still has a HEA. Paige & Mitch make an incredible couple, bringing out the best in both of them.
Just when you think you know how this story will end it changes, or at least it did for me. What I loved is it touches on some very emotional issues that SO many women face…and often others don’t understand. Brought tears to my eyes several times!
Definitely worth the read!
This is the third book in The Single Dads of Seattle Series. I like Single Dad Romance! This is a series of interconnected standalone stories, with intertwined characters. Mitch and Paige’s story is sweet, sexy, and heartwarming. I like the banter, and the humor in this story. Stella Hunter and Matt Hicks did an amazing job with the narration. I enjoyed it. #ALC #PinkFlamingoProductions #AudiobookObsession
This is a standalone book in a series with a sweet HEA. Each audiobook in this series is even better than the last. I absolutely love how Whitley Cox has created such a unique and engaging series. The characters are easy to relate to and fall in love with. Mitch Benson and Paige McPherson are an exciting and steamy couple. Their story was sweet, passionate, and poignant. I laughed, I cried, I blushed. I just can’t get enough of this amazing series!
Matt Hicks and Stella Hunter were cast perfectly for their roles. Their timing, tones, pitch, and pace were perfect. This story was so sweet and emotional, and the narrators really brought that to life. I could feel that they were emotionally connected to the story, making it that much more meaningful. I highly recommend the audiobook version of this book! Thank you to Pink Flamingo Productions for gifting me this great audiobook in exchange for an honest review.

This is my first listen by this author and this series. I believe it is the third book in the series. Mitch is so amazing. Paige and Mitch just click and they both have been through some hard times. I love how the story reflects divorced parents in the various ways of real life. There are some that can be friends and co-raise their kids and the others not so much. This is just a really sad, sweet and feel good by the end type story. The narrators do an amazing job as well.

I liked this audiobook so much more than I expected. It is a stand alone, and if you haven’t listened to others in the series it might be better to start with this one so you won’t have any preconceived notions about Paige (the h). And then go back and start from the beginning of the series because the first one is still my favorite.
First off, the title doesn’t sound like my thing. I prefer strong heroines and would be much more likely to go for something called “Saved by the Single Mom”. The actual events of the story didn’t make the h seem helpless, so don’t rule it out because of the title.
I was also really hesitant–and I mean REALLY hesitant– about the h being the brother in law’s ex-wife given the circumstances of her divorce (disclosed earlier in the series). The storyline somehow made the relationship seem acceptable, and I appreciated the dueling banjo references.
So why did I listen to the book when I wasn’t sure I’d like it? Because I like the series and really want to make it to Liam’s story AND (even more important) it’s narrated by the fabulous team of Matt Hicks and Stella Hunter. The two of them did an excellent job with the narration and onomatopoeia added some extra fun to the audiobook. I’m so glad that I took a chance and listened to it.

Paige and Mitch
This is another great story in this series. I love that not only are we reading about single dad’s but the kids are actually included quite a bit in each story. Mitch is suffering from the the loss of his wife and Paige is going through depression and is also divorced. A chance encounter puts her right in his line of sight, as he is a photographer. Neither of these two are ready for a relationship, however since he took her picture he cant stop thinking about her.
****There may be some triggers here in regards to depression, pregnancy issues and bully encounter. I am not trigger sensitive so it was just great story content for me. ****
I would recommend this story and can’t wait to continue the series. Narration was mostly great however the male narrator who has a fantastic! lead character voice I didn’t care for his secondary characters. I would love to hear both of them again. Sisters Spotlight
Saved by the Single Dad
The Single Dads of Seattle Book 3
By Whitley Cox
Narrated by Stella Hunter & Matt Hicks
Single dads are a genre I can easily get lost in and Whitley Cox’s Single Dads of Seattle is a pleasure to listen to. Each book is original and entertaining. This one features Paige and Mitch. We had met Paige previously, and had a little background of her life. It’s been tough for her, and she is slowly finding her way back. The one thing she truly loves is cooking, and while she works as a pastry chef, she has bigger dreams. Working at the restaurant for her nemesis definitely wears on her. Mitch has taken notice of Paige and does his best to catch her attention. When there is a family emergency, Mitch is there for her, not only as she loses her job, but as she worries about her daughter. Could this gesture be the beginning of a new relationship? Cox weaves relevant issues into her books, and I love that she includes realistic situations. It’s refreshing since many times they effect more people than we realize. But the story while realistic is not heavy. She incorporates humor, and warm hearted love in keeping the story easy to listen to. We even get cameos from other single dads we have met before! It’s a great listen and this series is addictive.
Stella Hunter is a favorite of mine and I love the feel she gives to Paige. There are many layers to her and Hunter is a master at giving us each one separately. She drives with warmth and emotion and truly makes Paige real. Matt Hicks is new to me and I love the richness of his voice. It’s comforting like Mitch, and makes a good fit for his character. I enjoyed this and can’t wait to hear book 4!

What’s not to like about this story? Paige is struggling with some totally beyond her control life situations and Mitch is there to help pull her through the darkness. Having a fantastic network of friends and family as well she manages to put her past behind her and move forward with Mitch for them to get their HEA.

This book was gripping, well written & the chemistry between the characters sizzled throughout this wonderful read.
Well done Whitley. I look forward to more!
Whitley is the queen at delivering emotional heart-wrenching stories that will have you aching for more! With each story I read in the Single Dads of Seattle Series, I fall even more in love with her writing and this mixed matched group of dads finding their matches. This is a series of standalones, so you don’t have to read the first two books to understand this one. But I will always recommend reading standalones that intertwine because it offers more insight into the supporting characters and sometimes the main ones too.
I was super excited to read this story because the heroine is the Ex-Wife of the hero in the previous book in this series, Dancing with the Single Dad. It was so refreshing to see a couple that has parted ways each finds their happiness.
Paige is still trying to pick the pieces up of her previous life after the loss of her son. Mitch is still getting over the death of his wife. When these two are brought together by their daughters, they instantly feel a connection. Where Mitch is determined to show Paige he likes her, Paige is afraid to pursue anything. Will she take a chance on Mitch? These characters have gone through so much and their journey is beautiful.
This story delved into the really real topic of miscarriage and how it can impact a person. I have said it already, but I love that Whitley is not afraid to write about hard struggles that so many people face but are afraid to write/talk about. Each book in this series tackles hardship and each time it creates awareness and understanding. And it will honestly have you falling in love with her stories and characters.
Saved by the Single Dad is 100% my favorite book in the series thus far. As the series progresses, the heroes get hotter and the heroines become more complex. I also liked it a lot because as the series progresses we are able to learn more about the previous couples. And with this being a ten book series, I can’t wait to see what’s coming next!
Saved by the Single Dad, the third book in Whitley Cox’s Single Dads of Seattle series, is the story of Mitch and Paige. Both have suffered great losses, and manage to find some happiness with each other. I loved how Mitch managed to help Paige see herself as worthy. I look forward to more in this series!
The third in The Single Dads series is here and I hope everyone has their tissues ready, you are going to need them.
When I first read the blurb about this being Paige’s book, I was unsure or not if I was going to enjoy it. Well I was a dummy for doubting the greatness that is Whitley Cox.
Paige is in a world of pain, pain that comes from the loss of children and although she is on the road to recovery she first must learn to love herself again.
Mitch is not only a single dad, but also a widower, still recovering over the loss of his wife. With a camera attached to his hand, Mitch captures moment after moment of Paige as she uses dance as a way to deal with her grief. Paige becomes his muse, and the pull between them is hard for either to deny.
After drama, Paige gives in to the emotions Mitch causes in her, but with the condition that he understand she is not what he thinks she is.
Beautiful.
Mitch and Paige are a story I never thought I would ugly cry over, but you can bet your monthly book budget that’s what I did. Get ready to have your soul shredded, you emotions to run wild and your heart to be made whole again by the end. This is by far my most favorite so far in this series.
I’ve read several books written by Whitley Cox; she has done a great job at writing a good book; she is becoming one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of books her books.
The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.
I loved the chemistry between the characters.

The passion behind the pain and love of each character is reflected all throughout the book just like in the previous book with Mitch’s sister Violet. The strength that both Paige and Mitch achieved with the growing feelings between each other and their little girls is so beautiful that it could really be relationship goals without appl the heartaches they all had to endure in the book!

This story grabbed me and sucked me in. I couldn’t put it down: I think because if reached me on a personal level and really brought hope to my heart. It amazing to read a book that is so ‘real’ and touches on real emotions. So worth a read!
This book is full of sweet moments! I loved the characters and love the way the story unfolds. The characters are realistic and you will fall in love with them.

I enjoyed this new “Single Dads of Seattle” story! Great characters and wonderful story-line! The plot and characters really pull at your heartstrings. Mitch and Paige are so perfect for each other. He is a single dad who tragically lost his wife and unborn children. She also has lost so much and thinks she does not deserve love. Can both of the these two get over their past and be with each other. All this story is a touch emotional it is also fun, steamy, sexy and just all over a great read! The hummingbird bit was a great added touch. I love every bit of it from the beginning until the very end.
The book is a good romance story to read. It’s very well written and has a good story line.
The characters are good, and they have good chemistry. Both of them went thru a lot in their life. Will they open up to new love?
The story is an enjoyable emotional, and heartwarming romance read.
