I had to wonder about my sanity when I was coerced to try out for a reality TV show called “If the Shoe Fits.” That should have been my first warning. My second warning should have been when I was the only girl whose foot actually fit the shoe amongst all of the stunning beauties. There wasn’t a third warning. Just my friend’s glee when she tapped me on the head with a magic wand and I was … wand and I was transported into a fairy tale castle and came face to face with three of the most handsome men on which I’d ever laid eyes.
You might think that would be a fairy tale come true for a down-and-out waitress like me. But you’d think wrong, because as soon as I was introduced to the Queen, she accused me of high treason.
My Princes broke me out of the castle and now we’re on the run, hunted by the Queen’s guards and horrifying magical abominations.
They told me I was the only one strong enough to bring magic back to their dying kingdom, but I can’t even light a candle. They told me I was their Fated Mate, but I don’t feel any bond. They told me they were all mine, but how could three stunning men want me?
And now, my Princes have been taken. I have no magic – and I’m the only one who can save them from the terrible wrath of the Queen.
They put their faith in the wrong girl. I should have heeded the first warning.

Saved By The Princes by Charmaine Ross is an interesting retelling of the Cinderella fairy tale. The world building is excellent and the characters are well developed and interesting. Great beginning to this adventure — trying on a glass slipper. There is a lot going on — magic drama, suspense, action, and of course an evil stepmother witch of the three princes (Drizen, Henry, Tasius) instead of Cindamyn/Cindy (Cinderella). It is a fun and enjoyable read. Received a free copy from Booksprout and this is my voluntary review.
I received this ARC from the author thru booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. I enjoyed reading about Cindy and her princes. She thought she was just a simple waitress, little did she know she was to save a kingdom. This story had good characters and storyline. It had excitment, mystery, and love with her three men. They work to protect Cindy and help fight the evil queen. If rh is your type of genre, then you will enjoy this book! I look forward to reading more from Charmaine.

Saved by the Princes is a Cinderella-cum-Snow White RH that I would describe dirty, with a touch of froofy romance.
I mean–all the gag-worthy ‘Our Chosen, we have finally found you. We will worship you for the next thousand years and then the thousand years after that, if it would be your pleasure.’ That is a quote and froofy.
For some, that sugary romantical stuff is swoony, dreamy, heart fluttering satisfying, I like earthier feral heroes over the poetic sort.
Cindamyn is one of the working poor. She has two jobs, a few pennies in her savings account, and a bestie that keeps her from filling the laps of demanding customers with piping hot coffee. She was a system raised kid with a dismal future. Until her best friend ropes her into trying out for reality show featuring three hotties, a glass slipper, and a line of contestants who look better than she in all ways.
One of the issues I have with this book is Cindy’s characterization. There is a reason for it given further in the book, but she is that annoyingly insecure person who shuts down more knowledgable people and then calls them delusional.
I HATE IT.
I HATE THAT IN A HEROINE.
‘Of all the stupid, irresponsible, half-witted, selfless, thoughtful things to do.’ That quote would be sweet, were it not for the fact that it is from Cindy and echoing most of my issues regarding her–minus thoughtful.
But the redeeming parts of this book are that the world-building is great, and the smutty parts are excellent.
I like the princes when purple prose isn’t coming out of their mouths. They are unique from one another, and their dirty talk is on point. The plot is a revision of the fairytale where they have the evil stepmother, and Cindy is the one that needs to save them from the oppressive power of the Queen.
I am not sure if I will go out of my way to read more books of Charmaine Ross because the formal declaration of the heroes is not my taste. It makes my eyes roll so hard it gives me a headache. But this is something I think many others will enjoy.

This was an interesting story in a well built world. Good characters and some steamy scenes though the negativity of the female lead was grating at times it was all part of the plot.

Charmaine Ross can always be relied upon to deliver a story action-packed with twists and turns that leave you wanting more. What more could anyone want than three handsome princes? It plays upon everyone’s fantasies – a Cinderella transition and a feisty heroine who meets the challenges the wicked queen throws in her direction. Who wouldn’t do that, knowing the rewards that wait at the end?
