Savannah Breeze is the story of BeBe Loudermilk, a Southern belle who’d dearly like to get back at the handsome, two-faced con man who swindled out of everything she owns except for a broken-down 1950s-era motel on Tybee Island. Joining BeBe on a revenge-inspired road trip south to Fort Lauderdale is her junking friend Weezie, the heroine of Blues, and a car-full of lovable misfits. Readers with a taste for the novels of Fannie Flagg, Jennifer Crusie, Adriana Trigiani, and Emily Giffin—not to mention Rebecca Wells and Sweet Potato Queens queen Jill Conner Browne—will adore this delightful take on the New South and one woman’s discovery of what’s really important in life.

MKA never disappoints. It isn’t summer until I have read my new MKA book.
just read the first few chapters just to know what it’s about, and if you’re Not into home decorating(this goes on and on and on) then just skip to about chapter 50, everything in between is just pointless, repetitive boring crap. Too many ‘I seriously doubt it’ moments and holes in the story. The ‘revenge’ is a boring, drivel let down. Got this …
A fun romp through Tybee Island and Florida. Cute characters. Somewhat predictable and the good guys win in the end.
This book started off beautifully and I had high hopes for it, as with all Mary Kay’s books! As always, Andrews (aka Hogan/Trochek) serves up a clever, well-written story that had me literally laughing outloud at points. The characters are well-drawn and realistic, and the true romances are heartwarming. But in Chapter 35, Bebe says “,,,,I’m …
I have read almost everything Mary Kay Andrews has written and this book did not disappoint. I thoroughly enjoyed reading the adventures of BeBe, Weezie, Harry and Grandpa. There are some laugh out loud moments in the book with a predictable plot twist that fit right in with the feel of the book.
I loved that it has a bit of romance, but no …
Good, easy beach read
I LOVED THIS BOOK.
Good summer read!
Mary Kay Andrews has a talent for developing relatable characters, even when they do crazy unbelievable things. Savannah Breeze is a great read for relaxing “me time.”
I must say I am impressed with an author who can keep so many little plot twists and turns straight! And there were lots of them in this book!
Bebe Loudermilk’s life in Savannah is going fine until she falls victim to a con man who takes everything from her. As she works to rebuild her life, she also makes plans to get revenge on the con man. …

Great beach read full of entertaining characters. The plot has been used before, but was enjoyable nonetheless.
A great Southern fun book.
Fun read
One of my favorite authors, gives me a delightful escape from the stress and threat of this summer’s life in pandemic. Realistic characters in a beautiful setting are added to somewhat unpredictable conflict with the genre’s guaranteed happy ending. Wonderful escapism!
Weezie & BeBe are at it again, lots of fun.
Mark Kay Andrews books are always interesting they entertain you and keep you interested through the entire book. Her characters are so good that you hate to end a book and lose these friends.
Fun. Just right for summer reading
