Savage Royals is straight up Savage. (I’ve always wanted to say that and sound like I know what I’m talking about!) The term bully can’t even touch the shenanigans seen in these pages. Mob mentality, bullying, and down right evil.
I am not sure when I got complacent but I absolutely did. I am paying for it too. Callie Rose is all about the twist and I forgot that. I have no intention of forgetting it again! Please, please, let karma do its job!

Savage Royals: Boys of Oak Prep, Book One was a great read by Callie Rose. Talia is just trying to keep her head down and survive until graduation. Unfortunately “the princes” have other plans for her. The princes are four boys that always get what and who they want. They all seem to hate Talia due to their bullying of her, but they want her. I enjoyed reading this book and can’t wait to read more by Callie Rose.
the story is really good. Talia has a crappy home life and when her dad passes away she not sure an upgrade to wealthy grandparents she’s never met is an up grade. She is sent to prep school where the princes are less then welcoming. The beginning of the bullying is a bit slow. Things start to change and then it gets all crazy. I didn’t see some of that coming. Actually I didn’t see a lot of that coming and your heart just breaks for Talia. Because really….. but that ending. Man I am dying to know what happens and it’s 1am. If the next book was available to download I would have dived right in!!
Boys of Oak Park Prep Book One.
After Talia finds her father dead in their living room, leaving her an orphan, Child Protective Services discovers that her maternal grandparents are, in fact, alive and want her to live with them. Moving from Idaho to California is a huge change, but going to Oak Park Prep instead of a public school is a much bigger challenge. Mason, Finn, Elijah, and Cole, otherwise known as The Princes, immediately decide that she is to be the focus of their high school bullying. They rope the entire student body into harassing Talia, and they don’t have to lift a finger. After a particularly frustrating prank, Talia finally snaps and tells Mason, the leader, how she really feels.
If you’re looking for a high school story where nothing is as it seems, this is the book for you! Beware-there is a cliffhanger, so you will want to have the second and third books ready to go.

Wow. Just wow.
I’m not a big fan of bully romances having lived through bullying in school myself but this story is amazing.
Talia is strong. I loved her.
This does end in a cliffhanger and I cannot wait for the next book!

This book is not at all what I thought when I first started and I was so surprised with the direction it took. Holy cow, what a book. I need to know what happens next!
I was hooked from the beginning of this story to omg end. Money, power, control and privilege is the perks for the Princes, of Oak Park Prep school, but Talia the new girl is faced with revenge, hatred and lies in the form of being bullied. Like I said in my first sentence there is an omg end and it’s a cliffhanger, which I have to get listening to ASAP with Kasi Hollowell letting me what happens next.

This was my first Callie Rose’s book, and won’t be my last. This is the first book in the Boys of Oak Park Prep Series, an amazing Reverse Harem and High School Bully Romance. Talia, and the Princes, Mason, Finn, Elias, and Cole, are wonderful and intriguing dark characters. Talia is young, beautiful, broken, but strong. The Princes are so dark and intriguing! The secondary characters are intriguing, and they have an important part in this story. The storyline is well written, captivating and intriguing, filled with angst, and mystery. I never saw that cliffhanger coming!! Now, I can’t wait to listen to the next book in the Series, Defiant Princess. Kasi Hollowell is a new narrator to me. She has a beautiful voice, and a great male voice. All voices were easy to distinguish. I enjoyed it and I highly recommend it.
Hum… well this was just average for me. The plot is there, if not overdone and underwhelming. The characters are standard and one dementional, and the ending was beyond predictable. I ended up skimming about half the book because the way the author wrote it didn’t work for me. The book was lackluster, had I connected to the characters it would have been a better book. I also felt no connection between the characters, everything was just too easy.
Talia was living in Idaho with her Alcoholic, abusive father. Her mom died when she was young. At 16 she worked at a diner to help pay the bills. One night when she came home from work , she found her father dead. She called 911 . When the authorities found out she was only 16, they told her she needed to go into foster care. Her caseworker found out she had very wealthy grandparents living in California that would take her in. She was reluctant at first, Talia decided it was better to be with family than with strangers. But her abuse didnt stop. Going to her new private school was hell. Being the new girl, she was bullied by the 4 Boys known as the Royals. Anything they said the students would follow. One day things changed. The Royals started to be nice to her. The bullying stopped. But why? Did they have an ulterior motive?
This story shows how strong a person Talia is. She wouldnt let them get to her. She came with nothing , she can leave with nothing. This ends with a cliffhanger waiting to see what happens next. Kasi Hollowell narration flows smoothly from one character to the next. She shows all the emotions throughout the story. audiobookobsessionreview
I am a big fan of RH and Bull romances, and I did really enjoy these read. However, I did kind of see the end coming, so I wasn’t as shocked as I hoped I would be when I go to the twist. That being said, I can not wait until the next one. I need to know what Talia’s mom really did and why the guys are so threated by Talia.
I would like to give the narration 4.5 stars. My only complaint about the narration is that I couldn’t the tell guys apart from just their voices, though I understand that’s tough when there are several of the same age/background. Other than that it was very well done.
There are many things that I didn’t like about the story itself. For example, I would have preferred if the characters were older than 16. I was disappointed to see friendships put on the back burner even when the Talia was aware that it was happening. I didn’t like the boys behavior towards other people at any point in the book, and it made them generally unlikable characters. Fortunately, with it being the first book in the series, it seemed to be more about Talia and not about romantic relationships.
That being said, I still rated the story a 4 because despite all those things, I wanted to keep listening to hear what happened next. I would actually still like to hear what happens next in the trilogy, even though I don’t like any of the guys.

I was not expecting to be drawn into this story so much!! I hadn’t read it with all the controversy but I am so glad I could listen to it. I am happy I gave it a chance because it didn’t disappoint! I am eagerly waiting to start book 2 and will probably just read book 3 since its not on audio yet because I think my heart is gonna burst if I don’t find out what happens!
I enjoyed the story and the reason I couldn’t give it 5 stars because of some of the scenes. It was a well written story, but I was bullied in middle and high school and some of the scenes triggered me. Nothing against the author, just personally I had a tough time. Also, sometimes I felt disconnected with the MC (not a lot but enough to take me out of the story) but its a solid 4 stars! I will say I was super disappointed in her close gf peacing out and not even giving her a chance. I loved how bubbly she was but she just cut and ran and didn’t even give Talia a chance to redeem herself. I also will say I wasn’t happy to see how Talia let loose with the princes, but with high school and this prep school, its normal to see some of that. That’s how we grow and it makes for a more relatable story. I will say I fell in love with these boys but I don’t know if they can be redeemed in my eyes. Callie Rose has a tall order to convince me otherwise. I will say I fell hardest for Finn and Cole. I think Elijah will get more of a role in book 2 and I think Mason will have to do the most redemption.
For the narration, Kasi did a phenomenal job. I loved her voices (male and female) and her inflections and perspective/approach really enhanced the story. Definitely will be adding more books by her to my to be listened list! I thought her snobbery tone for the grandparents was spot on and her bubbliness for Leah was fantastic. I had to give her 5 stars because I loved listening and I can be pretty picky hahaha.
If you are into bully stories, definitely give this one a shot. If you have any triggers, just going in that this one to me is not a light one (might be different for others). I am definitely going to continue to listen because I need to see how they even think about groveling after the horribleness they pulled at the end of Savage Royals.

I really enjoyed the narration by Kasi Hollowell, she brought all the characters to life beautifully and I could focus on the story without worrying about the voices.
My goodness me. I just. I can’t. Everything I want to say is a spoiler. Beyond that words have kinda failed me. It always feels wrong to say I’ve enjoyed a bully story, but I’ve really enjoyed this one. I loved to hate the characters and I got sucked in completely. I was on tenterhooks all the way through trying to work out the angle….now I need the next book!
Fantastic Story & Narration Mind Blowing!
Savage Royals: A Reverse Harem High School Bully Romance
Boys of Oak Park Prep, Book 1
By: Callie Rose
Narrated by: Kasi Hollowell
Ok, so bullies really piss me off, but after hearing rave reviews about how great the story and narration was I had to listen and I must say I am very happy I did. Callie Rose has a wonderful writing style, she grabbed my attention and my heart right from the start and held it to the end. Her characters are complex and continue to develop, I just know there is much more to each and every one of them. I adored Talia, her strength and tenacity. I also love the whole idea of the royals, the princes Mason, Finn, Elijah, and Cole. The popular boys who rule Oak Park Prep and the kings of bullying. Heck there is no shortage of bullies in that school. I was cursing them out in my head, I may have verbalized a few out loud too. I loved this twisted story and how every thing played out, all the drama, the angst, the hot romance and the mind blowing twist at the end. I can’t wait to see what comes next, I am team Talia all the way! Callie Rose, thank you for this great story and the emotional rollercoaster ride.
I listened to the Audible edition, Kasi Hollowell is a wonderful narrator and voice performer. She brings these characters to life, gives each their own distinct voice and personality and attitude. She does a great job covering both male and female roles, making it easy to follow the story and who is who. She is great with projecting the emotions of the characters and the drama of the story into her performance. She is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for this great listen

This is the first book of Callie’s that I have read and it definitely won’t be my last. It was absolutely fantastic. I could not stop listening. It is raw and emotional. I cannot wait to dive into the second book Defiant Princess.

I am losing my ever-loving mind while I write this. First off, this book is like crack! I was completely addicted the whole way through. I couldn’t stop listening. When I wasn’t listening, it was all i could think about… how long until I can listen again.. Hmm, will anyone miss me if i go hide in a closet for an hour? From the very beginning we are pulled in by these amazing characters. They are flawed… oh how they are flawed. Yet you want to love them anyway. They are so different, distinct, unique. And pure Evil! Yet they suck you in anyway! Honestly, I was so invested in this story, head over heals, write off the world obsessed. Callie made a forever fan of me with her wonderful writing, characters and vision.
On top of the amazing story is a world class narration! I had never heard this narrator before. I listen to A LOT of audio and feel I have a pretty good understanding of what makes a great narrator. Kasi has it all in spades! Her voice is so easy to listen to. Sweet, clear, yet she can dish the sass with the best of them. She did a fantastic job of giving each character distinct voices and personalities. Her male voice was perfect which a lot of female narrators struggle with. I absolutely loved every bit of her performance. I plan to listen to much more of her in the future!

* AUDIOBOOK REVIEW *
I can’t say that I loved the story because it was too cruel it was very intriguing and I couldn’t stop listening even when I wanted to.
No unnecessary descriptions of surroundings
Good amount of dialogues
Sensual and sweet but also very cruel and raw
The main character is well developed in to a realistic version of a teenager on her way in to becoming a women.
The other characters is too hidden in secrets to get a real read on but occasionally I glimpse their good side and see hope in this story.
This is book 1 of a trilogy so naturally it’s a cliffhanger. Maybe I would have been more comfortable with listening to them all before reviewing because I’m mostly frustrated now. And I seriously have to get a hold of the other books.
Narrator:
Clear pronunciation and read with feelings
I have never read a “bully” romance before, I’m not sure if I will like them but this author made me love hers. I fell in love with ALL the characters! The author took me through all the emotions. The narrator had me hooked with her voice and the passion she infused the entire story. I was so addicted to the book, I actually stayed up all night reading the entire series. This story was strong and beautiful. Awesome audiobook!

Savage Royals, the 1st book in the Boys of Oak Park Prep trilogy, was a hard core bully romance and my first Callie Rose novel. This reverse harem story was well written with suspense and drama and it will take you on an emotional roller coaster ride. The story ended with a cliff hanger and will leave you anxious for the next book. While I did enjoy this story I felt that the h was a bit gullible and should not have trusted the H so easily.
The audible version of this novel was narrated by Kasi Hollowell. She did a fantastic job with the narration and really brought the story to life. I enjoyed listening to her narration of this tale.
