4 stars for Savage Royals by Callie Rose. This is book 1 in the Boys of Oak Prep series. This is a reverse harem bully romance. 16 year old Talia has lived a rough life. Her mom died and she was left with he abusive Dad. When he dies she has to go live with her rich grand parents. This means she is now going to a new prep school . Talia is tough, strong and feisty. I love that she fights for herself and never lets anyone walk all over her. She meets the Princes, Mason, Finn, Elias, and Cole. These boys make her life a living hell. They actually used to know each other when they were younger. Now Talia has a lot of questions and soon she seems to be falling for the Princes. The ending in this book was a huge shock. I cried for Talia. Talia has already suffered so much and then to go through all of this. It end in a cliffy so be ready.
I’m actually not sure what brought me to this book, but I started reading it and couldn’t put it down. I loved it. The story is so complex and full of twists and surprises. It’s so terrible and amazing. It’s tear-jerking, heart-stopping, and gut-wrenching. I immediately jumped into book 2 and finished both within a night. I loved it.
Talia (The MFC) has lost both of her parents & shes just found out that she has family around. Namely her grandparents & they want her to live with them. Shes gets a massive culture-shock when she finds out they are rich and have a different way of life to what shes used to. Not knowing her grandparents, having no friends & then having to join an elitist school you would think would bring its own challenges. Which it does. One being four rich, entitled guys Cole, Mason, Finn & Elijah who near enough run the school. I wont give away the plot but its one hell of a book!!. Wow that cliffhanger is goody. Loved Talia but im hoping she gives as good as she gets in the next book? Omg this book was flaming amazing!!!
Ugh I’m such a sucker for bully romance.
This one broke me at the end. My heart hurts for Talia. The guys….I just can’t believe what they did. I can’t wait to see what happens next!
I’m a sucker for bully books. I love reverse harems. Add them together, and I’m sunk. With that in mind, Savage Royals was one of my most anticipated releases for the year and HOLY. SMOKES. it did not disappoint. Simply put, it was an unputdownable five star read that left me desperate for the next installment.
It was everything! Omg this book wrecked me with everything it had. It was so dang good that I did not put down and had to know what was coming next. Althought the ending completely shokced me and I was not expecting that! Now I definitely need book 2 like right now to find out how she gets them back!
Great story line although this seems to have glaringly similar incidents and characters’ traits from a different book that I’ve read.
That’s the pros – you get to read a new good book.
The cons – if you’ve read the other book, it’s impossible not to compare them together.
At least this really have a great story line. Incidents may have similarities but it’s different from where the story will go.
I’m still reading the next book once it out though.
