The island took everything from me.It won’t take her. They created a monster.A savage. They’re about to see exactly what that means.Because Harper Lake is mine.Savage Love is the conclusion of The Savage Island duet, and must be read after Savage Dom.
Savage Love: A Dark Romance Savage Island Duet Book Two
By Jane Henry
While I enjoyed this book I found it a bit rushed compared to the first book. There was still chemistry, desires yet it felt some how mellower less all consuming. There was plenty of suspense, action, twists and revenge. I just wished things were wrapped up better. For instance Harper promised to find Lila and help her yet that never happened. Why they were on the island in the first place was far fetched to say the least. (That he thought he could get away with people dying for some experiment.)What happened to all the scientists who knew what was going on?
Cy and Harper’s journey was emotional, captivating, intense at times and I did love how strong she was when she was separated from him. In one part she’s thinking:
I will fight for him. For us.
Our love is a savage love, unbound by typical conventions, forged in the fires of trauma and circumstance. And savage love prevails. It doesn’t quit. It doesn’t give up. It doesn’t cower in the face of what it faces. Savage love holds on with tenacity and courage and doesn’t let anything destroy it.
Once again I enjoyed it just not as much as the first book.

Savage Love
A Dark Romance (Savage Island, Book 2)
By: Jane Henry
Narrated by: D. C. Cole
This second book in the Savage Island Duet is everything I love about Jane Henry’s style! Wonderful characters, hot alphas, & thrilling suspense kept me completely intrigued..Picking up where we left off at the end of Savage Dom, Cy and Harper know they are being watched and are looking for the last couple of cameras. But there are so many questions that come up if they do. Will they be rescued? Who brought them to the island and why? And most importantly, will their relationship survive in the real world? Henry delivers suspense, passion and a twist which blew my mind! Harper is not only smart and beautiful, but is able to think on her feet and navigate her way through situations with courage. Cy is the one you want by your side. He is loyal and protective and never gives up. It’s high intensity and suspense, steamy passion and a story that kept me intrigued til the very end!
The perfect storyteller was cast for this. DC Cole is amazing, bringing each character to life. He emulates each scene so we feel like we are right there, experiencing the island and their relationship. His voice for Cy will have you swooning and his draw into the suspense is exciting. He gave us a fantastic performance.
Intelligent second/last part of the short series. This one as a little different but it had all the ingredients for an erotic thriller romance. Great entertaining read. Jane Henry has delivered again

This is book 2 in the Savage Island duet & it picks up right from where book 1 ended, so don’t even think about reading this without having already finished book1. Cy & Harper make it off the island, but not together. With each of them feeling the reality of the bond that they have, they each work to return to the other. Make no mistake, this was a thrilling conclusion. However, I feel that it missed a few perfect opportunities that left me feeling a bit let down. I would have liked to know more of the motivation behind the big WHY? The book very quickly touched on the impact that paparazzi/social media/crowd mentality have on people who are determined by be ‘newsworthy’ which seemed to overly simplify the reality.

Let me start off by saying that I loved this duet! So much goes on in this book that your head will spin! The mystery and intrigue behind why Cy and Harper are on this island made me read this in one sitting. When Cy and Harper finally get off the island, they are elated, but is it really over? Too many things come to light and they don’t trust anyone. When they are separated, Cy will do anything to find Harper as he knows she is his one true love. The love between them is heart melting! As you read, you find out so many reasons as to why they came to be, and your mind will be blown! I don’t want to say anymore to spoil it for anyone, but trust me when I say you need to read this duet! Truly magnificent!

As you can see this is book 2 in the duet so if you haven’t read Savage Dom you will need to or you will be lost! Now if you read Savage Dom you know that Cy and Harper are stranded on the island but know that they are part of a larger picture. In Savage Love you are going to find out how they were manipulated to be stranded there together. If you think that I am going to tell you then you are wrong, wrong, wrong! I will say that Savage Love is going to answer all of your questions, leave you hot and bothered and keep you turning the page until the end. Like the first book, it is told from dual POV and is not for the faint of heart.

We’re back on the island with Cy & Harper for the continuation/conclusion of their story. Things between the two are more deep, more intense now. They are a complete duo, working together as if they were meant for each other. And let me tell you, that only becomes more intense and even deeper as you get into this book, but I don’t want to tell you what happens or how. I’m big on not telling you the whole story in my review, and here is one of those times where I feel the less I give away the better it is for you. Suffice it to say, I love these two! Their strength & resilience, their love and need for each other, and their fierceness and protectiveness. And things are still very hot and steamy . Loved this duet!! It’s a must read!!!

PHENOMENAL ROMANCE and a total MUST-READ!!
SAVAGE LOVE, the highly anticipated conclusion to the SAVAGE ISLAND DUET is absolutely stellar! Delving deeper into the conspiracy of a madman who funded the “experiment’ which forced Cy to forget most of what he knew prior to waking on the island, SAVAGE LOVE takes readers on the convoluted journey he must take once his “rescue” takes place. More importantly to Cy, is who and where is Harper, the woman from the island who captured his heart? For Harper, leaving the island is as confusing as her being left there. Separated from Cy she finds herself in the clutches of the same people and on the same cruise ship which stranded her on that horrible island! She trusts no one and quickly concludes that she must use the courage and self-reliance she learned on the island to find her brother Daniel and Cy – the man from the island who captured her heart. However, the person(s) or forces who stranded them on the island are still holding the power. Will Cy and Harper find each other? Will they be able to stay together, despite their differences, if they do find each other? How is Harper’s brother Daniel? The answer to all of these answers and more can be found in SAVAGE LOVE.
In SAVAGE LOVE, the level of suspense remains high, author Henry’s prose continues to be descriptive, sumptuous, and easy to read, and the conclusion of this story will blow your mind! Again, I read it until I fell asleep, then woke with my glasses on and my Kindle in my lap! Of course, I kept reading and rode the emotional roller-coaster as Harper and Cy did their best to survive the dire straits in which they continued to find themselves. I promise, just like the first part of this duet, SAVAGE LOVE is so full of romantic suspense, it’s difficult – if not impossible – to put down. So, again, as I nearly lost my mind with the suspense the romance kept me grounded. Combined, The Savage Island Books 1 & 2 are so riveting I ignored my Fitbit yelling at me to move . . . but I couldn’t move . . . had ta’ read ONE. MORE. CHAPTER! SAVAGE LOVE is the perfect mix of darkness, romance, suspense, mystery, adventure, and kink. It’s a total testament to author Jane Henry’s writing skills that she has woven those together so wondrously, so magnificently that readers will fly through this easy-to-read novel and return to real life dazed and wondering why so much time has passed? It is a true sign that a book is GREAT when readers consume a story so “quickly” that they lose track of time and everything else. I volunteered to read SAVAGE DOM and SAVAGE LOVE. I also purchased a copy of both novels to put in the FAVORITES collection on my Kindle. My HONEST and VOLUNTARY review is 5+STARS but I so wish I could award more!! SAVAGE LOVE is GREAT reading, and I STRONGLY suggest that you purchase your copy of SAVAGE LOVE today! Happy pages!

Amazing Ending!
What an amazing ending to Cy and Harper’s emotional rollercoaster ride of a relationship. These two have grown closer physically and emotionally so much so that nothing will stop them from finding the truth and being together forever. They are strong, fierce and highly protective of one another. Questions are finally answered for them and it’s time to move to the next stage of their lives.
This story was absolutely amazing, intense and utterly thrilling. It’s one wild and bumpy ride, which I absolutely loved from beginning to end.

This book carried the whole mindflip from the first one over into this one. There were a lot of things that I didn’t expect to happen, and I was like wooooow.
Harper and Cy are still going through some things. And they aren’t necessarily nice things. They do make plans so that they will never get separated if they make it off the island, but you know, things happen, so who knows?
Harper is still very smart and I think that she became a little more confident because of Cy. He was able to impart some of his strength to her and boost her confidence. Not that she wasn’t all that un-confident before, but you know what I mean.
I think that Cy learned things from Harper too, ike how to look at things in a different way. They both had very different views on life, which were complementary, but still different.
I do think that they work really well together, and they just about read each other’s minds, which can be a good thing or a bad thing. I also think that they are going to go far.

Jane Henry’s Savage Love is the stunning conclusion to the Savage duet and it progresses much faster than the first book and much happens as all the pieces finally fall into place—why they were there, the purpose, who took them, etc. And what’s worse, Harper and Cy must come to terms with whether their love is real or is it as manufactured as the island. Once again, I loved the suspense. While it wasn’t as much of an edge of your seat as Savage Dom, it was still a compelling read and I was eager to push through to the end. For me, the Duet of stories was quite satisfying to read and I enjoyed both stories equally.

Oh the twists and turns this book takes. Cy and Harper fight to get back to “civilization”, fight even harder to get back to one another. Who is behind this deception and why were they chosen. I loved the premise, the book was well executed, and these two characters are among the strongest I’ve read. I loved the way they fight to make sure the other realizes the passion and commitment they have for each other goes far beyond the island. A great duet!! Well done.
I received an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.

I actually liked this one better!
Cy and Harper were stronger together and the loose ends were tied up. The scenes between them were sweeter but Cy is still a Savage and let’s her know, lol.
I really hope we get more like this. I could so see a spin off happening when another megalomaniac thinks he could do the same thing……I see a whole group of Cy like men saving the world in their unique Savage ways!! Woot, just loved it.

What a fantastic ending Cy and Harper are fierce and nothing will stop these two from finding out the truth of the island and who is doing it.
What an intense original story that I couldn’t put down with so many questions and we get all the answers in this one that will leave you not even believing this could happen. The passion and feelings are very strong between these two opposites do attract.

This is the conclusion of Harper and Cy’s romance that began in Savage Dom and yes, that book must be read first for complete understanding and to get the full story. You can expect plenty more tension, mindboggling twists, adventure, drama, suspense, raw emotions, turmoil and steam. I thought that this was a really epic duet of reads. I was hooked from the start and was kept on the edge of my seat right up until the end.

Cy and Harper are stranded together on a beautiful, uninhabited, desolate island with white sand, surrounded by the turquoise-green waters of the ocean. But, why are they on this island? Is this some type of a test? Who could have concocted such a plan? Will they be able to survive? Will their love continue to blossom and thrive?
This story is filled with survival techniques, adventure, personal growth, compromise and love. Is there anything they can do to escape? What will happen to their love and their lives if they do leave the island? Will they feel the same way in the real world that they felt on the island, or will their love disappear? What devious motivation instigated this whole conundrum? Will trust overcome manipulation? Read this story to discover the outcome.

It also puts things into perspective and makes us appreciate all the little things again.

This was a goo following to the the first book. The twists where there, the characters passion for getting payback and the love. It was all there, but I kinda felt like it was really rushed. It jumped from one scene to the next and while it wasn’t bad, it just seemed really rushed.
Overall, I didn’t enjoy this one as much as I did the first book in the duet. I felt like things weren’t wrapped up the way they should have been, and I was left feeling unfulfilled. I will still watch for other books by this author because she has a great imagination but I hope in the future things are more resolved. 3 stars #2OCCJD
PS- I am adding that while this duet is being labeled dark, it was a light dark. A little bit of death, a small scene in the first that could deal with trigger, but honestly not something that I personally would consider dark. It’s more of a thriller romance.
