Book 5 of the Crystal KingdomThrough magic gone totally wrong, Wren and her cousins wind up on Gecire, sister dimension to the Crystal Kingdom. Wren McClure, journalist by day, romance writer by night, has a hard time facing the world’s ever-increasing responsibilities. Her life is already pretty messy. She doesn’t have time to think of falling in love, but she has no say in matters of her heart. … matters of her heart. Not when a big, sexy shifter decides she’s his.
Xenos Woodsky, alpha of the Gnoleon fae, has endured over three hundred years of self-induced solitude for a mistake that killed many in his tribe. When his mate portals into his reclusive life, he’s forced into taking action. It’s time to return to his people. It’s time to claim the woman he wants.
Old enemies come back and the tribe is forced to move. They need everyone’s help, especially Xenos. Xenos has to decide if he’s going to face up for past actions with his people and save the day, or lose his mate and his tribe.

I really enjoy this series. I’d really enjoy it more if the author actually got a proofreader. If I’m going to pay almost $5 for an ebook I expect it to be darn near perfect, as far as no missing words or repeated words right after each other and formatting.
Enough of that I did enjoy the characters and the story line. If you can get past the grammatical errors then you’ll enjoy it also.
Loved it
Wren, along with her two cousins, attempt to use magic to return to Earth from the Crystal Kingdom, but instead end up on Gecire. There she meets Xenos, the self-exiled alpha (leader) of the Gnolean Fae – her shapeshifting mate.
Savage King is a fast-paced, can’t put down story. Before I knew it, I was at the climax of the book, and was ready to scream because I didn’t want it to end! Only knowing that there are two more stories to come in the series kept me from crying that it was over, I loved it so much!
Savage King is the 5th installment of Milly Taiden’s Crystal Kingdom series, and begins a new adventure in a different dimension, hence the subtitle New Worlds. Reading the first four books in the series will introduce you to some characters mentioned, but is not necessary to enjoy this story.

I enjoyed the other books in this series, but for some reason I had a hard time getting into this book. It didn’t hold my attention and. I found myself skipping around the pages. Other readers liked it so please, read and judge for yourself.
I enjoy this author so I’ll definitely give the next book a try.
I received an advance copy of this book from the author via Bookfunnel. My thoughts and opinions are my own and without bias or favor.
A really enjoyable book. Great story, fantastic characters, plenty of action & sexy scenes. This was really easy to read.

Whoa, and I thought this series could get no better I was so wrong. After reading this next installment I am glad that I was wrong I love Wren and Xenos they were perfect for each other, I never expected this series to continue once the original women found mates but I am so glad it did. I cannot wait for the next story.
Ok first of all, let me just say that I would read the previous books before reading this one or you may be lost! I didn’t realize that it was part of a series and went back read the previous books and then restarted this one because I didn’t understand some of the things that were talked about. With that being said, this book is definitely well worth a read! There is laughter (lots of laughter that got me some weird looks from my family LOL), romance, and as always with this author-great characters! It is very fast paced and will keep you reading from start to finish. My only issue was that I felt like it was a cliff-hanger instead of a story with a complete ending. Now I don’t know if that means the next book in this series will pick up where this one left off, but I hope it does to some degree. But even with that, definitely worth reading in my opinion!
A must read! I love to read books from Milly Taiden. Savage King is the fifth book in The Crystal Kingdom series. This story is about Wren and Xenos. Xenos, alpha of the Gnoleon fae, has endured over three hundred years of self-induced solitude over a mistake that killed many in his tribe. Wren and her cousins have popped through a portal on their way back to Earth after a surprise visit to their relatives. All of these books are full of excitement and adventure in totally different worlds. It can be read as a stand-alone but you can understand the background better if you have read the other books in the series. Another awesome book from Milly Taiden. Can’t wait to read more from this series. Keep up the amazing work Milly!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND reading ALL of Milly Taiden books. You will not be disappointed in them. I know I wasn’t. They kept me in intrigued in each and every story.

Book 5 in Crystal Kingdom by Milly Taiden
Wren is a cousin of the original characters at the start of the book series. She’s a secret romance writer but is a journalist in her day job.
Wren and her cousin go to Crystal Kingdom to see her family something goes terribly wrong and they get separated.
Xeno is a recluse he thinks his people hate him and he’s stayed in shifter form for a long time but that all changes when he meets Wren.
I was worried when I read blurb for the next book in series after we got past the original characters were different characters introduced but as always I should never second guess MT. this has become one of my favourite series
If you love this book/series definitely check out PDA series.
This book will catch you and set your reader on fire. Awesome story and definitely deserves more than five stars. The action in this story is so exciting until the very end and it will definitely keep you guessing. Great start to this series.

This is Book 5 in the Crystal Kingdom. It can be read as a stand-alone but you can understand the background better if you have read the other books in the series. I really enjoyed reading this one. Wren and her cousins have had the magic stones go wacky on them and they didn’t make it back to Earth like they were supposed to have gone. Wren is a journalist by day and a romance writer by night and all she can think of is some of the stupid moves that her characters have made in her books, like the scary horror movies where the dumb girls all get killed. Then they meet up with Xenos, the tiger who then changes into a man. Yep, this is just like the books that Wren likes to read and write. There’s a lot of things going on that keeps your interest in the storyline. There’s danger, magic, new people to meet and hard decisions to make all in one story. What more can you ask for, right? I can’t wait to see what happens in the next book! I voluntarily read and reviewed this book that I received from BookSprout.
Another really amazing and completely addicting book in this fantastic series. Each book just gets better and I love it all. These characters are so, so great and I just couldn’t put down at all. Cant wait for more.
Author Milly Taiden continues to give us more and more fun and romance with Wren McClure and her cousins as they explore another world or dimension from Earth. This book for me is a bit harder to follow that most of Milly Taiden’s books so it was a slower read for me. I did like the book know that. Wren McClure has to communicate using hand signals with Xenos Woodsky who happens to be a fae the Alpha himself. I will let you read this to get all the info but let’s just say he is a shifter, she is human and Yep she is his mate. Make sure to save time for this one.
The story line was terrific, the character work was fantastic and the book had a good flow to it. Milly Taiden has given us another great addition to the series and a book which kept me hooked from beginning to end.

Wren and her cousins have popped through a portal on their way back to Earth after a surprise visit to their relatives. Shame the magic went awry and they have now landed in an entirely different dimension!
Zenos has been shadowing the girls for a time before he reveals his presence. Well, his human form anyway. Wren is going to get more than her PNR loving little heart can stand when she realises that the books she writes are about to come to life.
Unnecessary guilt, hot-sizzling passion and feisty females!
Fabulously FABULOUS fabulousness in Milly Taiden’s latest masterpiece of The Cry Kingdom series.
Highly recommend to all.
I love the Crystal Kingdom series. The connection to the previous books makes the story line continue. You can’t help but cheer on the main characters to a happy ever after.
As always Milly’s series are captivated and enjoyable. Can’t wait for the next in the series.
Xenos, alpha of the Gnoleon fae, has endured over three hundred years of self-induced solitude for a mistake that killed many in his tribe. It’s time to claim the woman he wants and who will help him save his people for the evil that is coming. Old enemies come back and the tribe is forced to move. Xenos has to decide if he’s going to face up for past actions with his people and save the day, or lose his mate and his tribe.
This author keeps you into the magical world of Fae and human. The 5th book in this series is a great edition to the ever growing kingdom’s.
Another three cousins open portal and end up in place they shouldn’t. That’s it till Wren meets Xenos. He knows, she is his mate and the person to show him, how to fix thing, he did wrong.
First book in a new series.
Great story. Loved it.
Incredible book. Loved the romance and the witty comments made by the three cousins in this book. Cracked me up. I love a book with intrigue and humor. Wren saw what she wanted and that was Xenos and she made sure he knew. What a great blending of characters and world building! Eagerly anticipating the next installment in this series.
