Struggled a bit through this book and if it wasn’t an ARC that I had committed to reading I would’ve have stopped and just shelved it.
Found it quite repetitive and wordy. The chapters were drawn out as if the author needed to get a certain word count. There are only so many times you can read: I wish I knew. Because if I knew. Then I would have known that I knew. So then I would have known.
Just a tedious read.

I have read many of Kelli Walker’s books and enjoyed each one of them. Maybe it is because of the high expectations I have, built from my past experiences with her books, that I feel a little let down with this story. For some reason, it seems to lack something and does not convey as well as her previous books that I read.

A nice quick sexy read. A bit slow out of the chute, but it picks up! I’m not sure I would use savage as a description, but Marc was definitely hot! Maybe it meant his actions were savage not his manners/bedroom skills. Vanessa was a good fit for him if not a bit high strung.
And above all else, we get our HEA!

Great book about a guy and a girl who briefly meet and can’t seem to forget the memory of their brief time together even though they did not think they would meet again. Imagine their surprise when Marc comes across a picture of Vanessa on a dating website. He invites her to be his date to attend his brother’s upcoming wedding and find out that she is already coming since the bride is her close cousin. Sparks fly between the two when they meet up again after he fly’s from America to London, England where the ceremony and festivities are being held. I felt the storyline and character development was a little slower than some of Kelli Walker’s books but I am still glad that I read it and encourage others to do the same.
I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest and totally voluntary review.
A secretly sweet savage billionaire
Savage Billionaire by Kelli Walker is a well written romance with engaging characters and sweet, yet also steamy relationship.
While Marc and Vanessa embark on a whirlwind romance with steamy seduction and developing an emotional connection, they fail to communicate about their feelings. This leads to assumptions, and we all know exactly what happens when one assumes.
Overall, this well written romance is a fun read with interesting characters that I found myself invested in for their HEA. Marc and Vanessa get their HEA plus a little bit extra too.

Kelli Walker has written a 5-star book that is an intriguing read that will grab you from the first page.
Vanessa meets Marc when she bumps into him while shopping. He is in London to help his brother with his wedding plans. There is an instant attraction between the two but they do nothing about it. A few months later Marc is looking on a dating site and he sees Vanessa’s profile. He sends her a message and she answers. They talk for a while and he asks her if she would go to a wedding that he has to attend. She tells him that she has to attend the wedding anyway because the bride is her cousin Leslie. Marc buts a restaurant while he is in London and now he needs someone to oversee all the properties he now has so he offers Vanessa the job. Vanessa has worked for Marc for a while now and things have been going great for them until Vanessa gets some news that puts their relationship in a downhill spiral. She has no idea how Marc would take the news so she doesn’t tell him. She doesn’t know how he feels about her and it is stressing her out to the point of her not knowing what to do, so she runs.
Can Vanessa get past being scared and tell Marc her news or will she leave until she can face him?
Can Marc get to Vanessa in time and find out what has upset her so much that she would run away, or will he lose her?
This book was a wonderful read and I would recommend it to anyone.

Good, but slow to begin
I usually like this author’s stories, but this time I found the story slow to begin. Admittedly, it’s romantic, but it didn’t do it to me and there was only one twist.
The story is quite predictable and very cute, dotted with some hot sex scenes.
Marc has already met Vanessa accidentally by coliding her in a shop, and for a few minutes they had sympathized. They meet several months later via an application and Marc needs a date to go to the wedding of his brother, and he asks Vanessa to accompany him. The latter understands then that it is about the marriage of her cousin and this coincidence as well as their first fortuitous encounter, push them to give themselves a chance and to discover each other.
