*I received an advanced copy from the author and am voluntarily providing my honest review.
I have to say that I think this is my favorite book in this series! Hammer has always intrigued me because there is something about him that just screams secrets that he doesn’t tell others. And he is actually pretty funny, which worked very well with this story and he and Violet. If you haven’t read the other books in this series, you should. This book can be read as a standalone because the author does a great job when it comes to backstory, but I would not recommend it.
Hammer, Hamilton Montgomery (aka Destroyer), has some great one lines in this book that has me laughing hard. He is definitely a dangerous and deadly character (hello … assassin!), but he definitely has hidden depths that I did not expect and he has such a playful side when it comes to Violet. Their relationship is totally awesome and they are sync’d very well with each others characters.
Overall, I was really happy with this book. It completes the story and totally wraps up the whole series with questions being answered and happily ever afters that I really enjoyed. I was pretty impressed with the twists and turns that this book took and how the whole thing played out with the multiple games being run at the same time. This was a really twisty and turny book that had me thinking one thing but I was really happy when it didn’t turn out that way. So, phenomenal read that had characters I totally enjoyed and a storyline that kept me hooked! Two thumbs up from me and happy reading!!!!
4.25 stars–SATISFACTION DELIVERED is the third and final instalment in Marie Harte’s contemporary, adult TRIGGERMAN, INC erotic, romantic suspense series focusing on a group of assassins and contractors who form a secret organization known as the Business. This is assassins Hamilton Montgomery aka Hammer aka the Destroyer, and Violet Leon’s story line. SATISFACTION DELIVERED can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous instalments is revealed where necessary but I recommend reading the series in order for back story and cohesion.
NOTE: SATISFACTION DELIVERED contains graphic scenes of violence that may not be suitable for more sensitive readers.
SOME BACKGROUND: Months earlier an infant boy was abandoned on the steps of Noel ‘Ice’ Cavannagh’s door step hinting that either Ice, Shadow or Hammer may be the father. With the real father’s identity unknown, and the mother killed while on assignment, our trio are in the fight for their lives as someone is desperate to destroy them all.
Told from several third person perspectives including Hammer and Violet SATISFACTION DELIVERED follows the building but acrimonious relationship between ‘Business’ assassins and agents Hamilton Montgomery aka Hammer, and Violet Leon. Hammer has been hunting for Violet since the fall-out of the team’s latest op in Mexico. Believing Violet betrayed them all, Hammer will stop at nothing to take down our story line heroine. But Violet’s secrets run dangerous and deep, secrets that could expose the truth of what happened and why. What ensues is the building relationship between Violet and Hammer, and the potential fall-out as betrayal reaches far deeper and closer to home than anyone could have imagined.
Violet Leon knows that her days may be numbered if Hammer were to discover her whereabouts, and the truth behind her perceived betrayal. Hoping to uncover the truth, Violet goes rogue in an effort to take down the people in charge. Hammer is desperate to locate and stop Violet before she does anymore damage but coming face to face with Violet stirs something deep within our story line hero.
The relationship between Hammer and Violet is an enemies to lovers, sexually erotic romance with a palpable sexual chemistry. From the outset Hammer’s attraction to Violet is immediate, and he isn’t opposed to using their attraction to get what he wants. The $ex scenes are intimate, erotic and intense.
All of the previous story line couples play secondary and supporting characters including Noel ‘Ice’ and Addy, Deacon ‘Shadow’ and Solene, as well as their handler Big Joe. The requisite evil has many faces.
SATISFACTION DELIVERED continues to focus on the search for the truth; to uncover the identity of the person(s) responsible for targeting the agents, and the women they love. Questions are answered; secrets revealed; betrayal is a by-product of getting the job done. The premise is intriguing and engaging; the characters are energetic, strong and dynamic; the romance is seductive and hot.
What a great conclusion to this series! You must read the two previous books in order to fully appreciate this last book. And, it is sad that this is the last one. The story has action, adventure, steamy intimate scenes full of confusing emotions and a few surprises that I didn’t see coming which, of course, makes the story all that more delicious.
Hammer and Vi are so much fun. Their banter, their attraction and their loyalty to a small group of people and a baby make them a perfect pair. As Hammer sees things in “black and white” and Vi recognizes “the gray areas,” what they uncover in their quest to find out who the parentage of the baby is, has you on edge in anticipation as things unfold.
This is a must read for all. I highly recommend this series.
Satisfaction is delivered in SPADES!!! Wow what a satisfying end to this fantastic series! It’s packed with action, twists & turns and answers to ALL our questions! And Hammer, what can I say but he delivers satisfaction…sigh. This is an absolutely fabulous series and I highly recommend it but, start with book 1 Contract Signed to enjoy it to it’s fullest.
Hammer aka Hamilton Aston Montgomery III, agent name Destroyer, is an assassin for The Business, a company that handles contracts for the government and others who need bad guys taken care of. The series focus has been on the mystery surrounding an abandoned baby left on agent Ice, Noel Cavanaugh’s doorstep. From the clues left with the baby boy he determines that he and agents Shadow, Decon Shaw and Hammer are involved. They set out to discover who the parents of this child are and why he was left on Noel’s doorstep. Wow, what a can of worms that cracked open. We get leads to betrayal within the company, treasonous activity and one surprise after another.
Hammer is the last to ferret out leads in this series. He knows Violet Leon pretended to be a nurse to Noel, may be a company agent and probably working for the bad guys. He sets out to crack her secrets while tracking down agent Phantom. Little does he realize they are the same person. He also needs to talk face to face with his handler Big Joe. He gets another major surprise when he finds out who that is. Through all of this he finds himself falling hard for Violet. Boy do they have chemistry! This book is scorching and oh so satisfying.
A voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced readers copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
I’ve really enjoyed this series by Marie Harte. This is my first time reading her and every book was well done. They move very fast, but it has been a joy to read about Ice, Shadow, and Hammer. Each man is so different and complex, but there was pure love watching them fall in love.
Hammer and Vi are a house of cards that fall in this book and it was lovely to watch them find their HEA.
This is a great summer series and you should definitely check them out!
Great conclusion to the series! Mega twisty action with some steam on the side!

For me, this was the best of the three books in the Triggerman cloak and dagger series. So many twists, a Hammer hero with a shrouded background that comes to light and a kick-a$$ female assassin that keeps his blood pumping in between dangerous attempts to pin down a villain threatening Hammer and his friends since the first book. Although there is some explanation of pivotal events in the first two books, I don’t think this story can be fully enjoyed as a standalone. I would recommend reading both previous books, or at least the first, to understand the threat and how Hammer and his mercenary assassin friends got together and dropped in it, so to speak. Violet, the female assassin, makes a reappearance and then becomes a major actor, sort of a D’Artagnan to the Triggermen’s Three Musketeers.
Best elements – fast pace, all of the twists, steamy attraction between Vi and Hammer, well choreographed action sequences and a happy ending with a last surprise kicker in the final paragraphs.
If only the mystery orphan baby that started this adventure had not ended up with such a weird name! Angel, it’s all your fault!
I read a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest review.
Very few people get the best of Hammer and Violet is part of the select few. So now it is time to pay the piper. But will the cost be higher than either expected?
I loved that Ms. Harte ended this series with a bang. Hammer kept himself apart from Noel and Deacon even as the men drew closer. And now we know that Hammer was hiding more than ever. I loved seeing Violet peel back those layers even as it scared her to death. Violet was looking for answers not love. But she found herself finding both and they all led towards Hammer. Ms. Harte gave us twists and turns as she concluded this series. I was surprised sometimes pleasantly sometimes not. But Ms. Harte kept me engaged throughout. I loved seeing how Ms. Harte tied this series and hope that she will return to this world in the future.
Satisfaction Delivered is the 3rd book in the Triggerman, Inc. series and wow! what an exciting way to wrap up a series. Everything that you wanted to know about this series, is answered. Hammer and Violet are the main characters in this story and they just sizzle together. Their chemistry is intense and their relationship is unique and undeniable. They are loads of fun and their witty banter is just perfect. Also, finding out who the baby really belongs to was another plus. There is also drama, angst, twists, turns, action, suspense, romance, and yes- love. Just another sensational story by Marie Harte. I was sad that the series was dunzo. It was a great read with great characters, awesome storylines and witty banter that will have you reading all over again.
My Rating: 4.5 stars *******
Ms Harte has hit a home run once again.
Really didn’t expect so many different players to enter the game as they did. Added to this is humour, action, dilemma’s and real characters that you feel connected too along the way.
The way Hammer and Violet interact is wonderfully entertaining whilst at the same time feeling real.
The differences between how these two spent their younger years is extraordinary but yet both ended up being so similar in outlook and attitude. I did like that they had different ways of thinking about life’s problems.
The story was going along nicely for the first half with the build-up of the relationship between Violet and Hammer but at the same time it felt like the main story was on the back burner and I was wondering how this was going to play out.
Then all of a sudden at the half way mark, my stomach started churning in anticipation and dread and I couldn’t read fast enough to see what happened.
Great how this all played out and what a conglomerate of subterfuge that was happening. Talk about so many levels of double and triple dealing.
The ending with Joe and a surprise woman had my eyes widening. Especially after what happened earlier in the story.
Now that this small trilogy about Noel, Deacon, Montgomery, and the baby has been solved, will Joe get his own story or any of the other characters that we meet in this book.
Glad that Gunner will have good parents instead of a mixed-up woman with a self-destructive pattern and a totally unbalanced psychopath.
I just want to know who did kill Angel?
This is my honest review of this book.
