The Montgomery Ink saga continues in a seductive romance where a runaway bride and two best friends might just take the chance of a lifetime.Ethan Montgomery thought he had his life figured out until the moment he and his best friend met a woman in a wedding dress drinking wine out of a paper bag. He might work too many hours and always seems to put his family and friends first. Still, when he … when he finally opens up to Holland and Lincoln, he may just get everything he’s ever wanted.
Holland Yeaton made a horrible mistake, and running out on her wedding seemed like the only thing to do at the time. Taking the next step of her life on her own won’t be easy, but now she has two sexy and bearded strangers to help her figure out exactly what she desires.
Lincoln McClard has loved his best friend for as long as he can remember. Only he’s never dared to do anything about it. Instead, he puts all of his sexual frustration into his art. As soon as he meets Holland, he realizes exactly why he waited for Ethan and what has been missing all along.
However, it’s not only the three of them in this tangled and steamy relationship. And if they aren’t careful, it won’t only be their feelings that get hurt…and broken.

This was a great story right from the beginning. I really loved Ethan and Lincoln and their feelings for each other that they didn’t want to share with the other and then they came across Holland, who had her own issues, but there was an instant connection made between the three of them. Watching them try to maneuver this new friendship/relationship was interesting to watch especially when they are all driven people especially with Ethan and Lincoln and their demanding careers, but with a hiccup or two, they seem to be making it work. All I’m going to say about Damien is I’m sorry he hurt so many people, but I’m glad he got what he deserved and can’t hurt anyone anymore. My other favorite part of this book was Ethan’s family and especially his mother who was so supportive of this new relationship. I really loved how this ended for Ethan, Lincoln and Holland. I’m hoping we get to see how these three are in future books in this series. My favorite line from this story is, ‘Ethan had always been his rock, his compass, but Holland…she was their lighthouse, the one who illuminated where they needed to go’.
4.5 Stars
Another good installment in the Montgomery series. Ethan and Lincoln are so great together and Holland balances them out perfectly, not to mention how good they are for her.
Sated in ink is the second book in the Montgomery ink: Boulder series. This is Ethan Montgomery’s story. He has been in love with his best friend Lincoln forever, but would never chance their friendship. When runaway bride Holland comes into their lives everything changes. Can this trio make a relationship work?
Loved this amazing beautiful intense emotional broken heartstopping love story of Ethan Link and holland
Grabbed my heart
love this series
love the Montgomerys
ready for more of this trio
It takes a lot to be in a triad, a throuple, a threesome, or whatever you want to call it. But the story was amazingly told by Carrie Ann Ryan. Ethan and Lincoln have been best friends forever and though they have feelings for each, have not voiced them for fear of what the other might say.
In comes Holland, whom they befriend at a park, while wearing a wedding dress. She is what they have been missing and the key for the guys to open up to each other.
These characters are funny, they are humble, they are lovable but also make mistakes. That’s one thing I really enjoy about Carrie Ann’s books, they are also human beings. All three of them have so much to give, if they don’t let their emotions overrule them. There was so much tension and I couldn’t turn the page fast enough to find out what was going to happen.
I just want the Montgomery’s to continue forever and ever!
You know that saying two’s company, three’s a crowd well in Sated In Ink it is more like two doesn’t quite meet the mix but three is the absolute fix. A broken hearted bride sits on a park bench and along come two best friends, no this isn’t the opening to a joke but the start of possibly something quite amazing. As heartbreak, doubt, priorities and jilted lovers come into play Ethan, Lincoln and Holland will need to fight for their love. An emotional story that will take your heart on a roller coaster ride. A love story that will at times frustrate you with their actions but will ultimately have you enchanted by their love.
I received a free copy of this book from the author.
Sated in Ink is a menage with two men and a woman. These stories are some of my favorites to read. The main issue I had with this story is the communication between characters. They constantly say they’re going to stay open and talk but never do!
Otherwise this story read quickly and you have an eclectic group of characters. One is a scientist, one is an artist and the other is a small business owner. Talk about opposites attracting.
If you like contemporary romances with a little bit of spice then you’re in luck with this book. Let me know what you think when you’re done.
Ethan, Lincoln, and Holland’s story is the continuation of Montgomery Ink; Boulder. Each of the Books in this branch of spin offs has started off at a wedding, this one includes a run away bride. Most will see this is a ménage MMF book and think “oh sexy times” but it’s so much more than that. The story, from 2 friends running on the park fighting feelings for each other all the way to all three of them figuring out how this new relationship works flows so smoothly and organically that you can’t help but love every second.
Being back in the Montgomery world is so amazing and we continue it with such a fabulous trio Ethan, Lincoln, and Holland. Their emotional and steamy journey will have you glued to the pages. Sizzling chemistry and high impact relationship makes for a must read romance read. I can’t wait for the next story in this must read series that doesn’t disappoint.
Hot Hot Hot! Once I started reading this book, I didn’t want to stop. Carrie Ann Ryan is an amazing author and I would recommend any of her books.
Right from the start…Carrie Ann Ryan will pull on your heart strings when Holland goes through heartbreak and betrayal all on the day she has dreamed of. Sated in Ink is about courage. It is about having the strength being what you need to be to start living life to the fullest. That is where Lincoln and Ethan come into the picture.
Because there is always “What society deems appropriate” bit, these characters work through a lot of turmoil through their need for each other. But I loved every minute. Ethan has a lot of doubt, but Holland gives him the strength and eventually he lets go. Lincoln was just as amazing with Ethan and Holland. But don’t let that fool you. There is a lot of angst, tears, and trials before they can try to reach for a HEA.
Sated in Ink built excitement and contentment. I never got bored and wanted so much more at the end. Great story from the heart!
Sated in Ink brings us back to the Montgomery family in Boulder, CO. This is a wonderful love story about Ethan, his best friend Lincoln, and Holland. What these three endure during their relationship goes to show that all couples (or throuples) have the same issues when learning to navigate each other. Carrie Ann Ryan once again puts her readers through the emotional ringer with this story, and I loved every minute.
This is the 2nd book in this amazing series and is Holland, Ethan and Lincoln’s stories. When Ethan and his best friend Lincoln come across runaway bride, they realise that that their lives are now complete. This is a well written entertaining and addictive page turner which had me totally captivated throughout, and I cannot wait to read more in this epic series. I highly recommend for all.
A MFM love story that had me wrapped up from beginning to end. I love when authors explore polyamory. And it’s not just about the sex. Don’t get me wrong, she put some amazing and very, well done sexy scenes in there too. Everything just flowed perfectly. The emotions, the struggles, the angst…it all had me swooning hard over this book!
We’re in the world of the Montgomery’s, and it’s Ethan’s story. He has silently loved his best friend Lincoln for years, but is too afraid to say anything, destined to keep their relationship no matter what. Unbeknownst to Ethan, Lincoln silently feels the same way, secretly in love and too afraid to ruin the friendship. While jogging, they come across a woman sitting in the park, in a wedding dress, looking a little lost. Being the caring amazing men that they are, they stop to check on her, and take her for coffee. Holland, wedding dress wearer, is having a rough day, but opens up just a tad to the two very handsome, sweet and amazing men who stopped to check on her. What started out as a moment of kindness turns into a new friendship, that turns into so much more. There are many ups and downs, but you can’t help but see the love from everyone
I am loving this spin off series from Carrie Ann Ryan, these Montgomery’s <3<3
This one was my favourite from the series so far! It was seriously hot!! made me all hot and bothered.
Ethan has been in love with his best friend Lincoln for years and he has felt the same but its not until they meet Holland that they feel like that can act on it as she is their missing link.
Holland has just run out on her wedding after finding her groom in a compromising position with her sister. Shes heartbroken and that's when she meets the 2 hottie's she finds her true home if she allows them in. I can understand her being hesitant to let someone into her heart again.
Ethan and Lincoln are super hot and I honestly wouldn't mind being in the middle of their hot sandwich.
Once I started this I devoured it in an afternoon and I am looking forward to seeing what happens with this series and I can't wait for Brystol's story.
This author sets the bar for smoking hot, sensual menage romance! There is so many feelings, and emotions packed into this book, I just could not put it down! This trio has an absolute connection that there is no getting past, and I just knew they’d be perfect together!
Ethan and Lincoln are best friends. With feelings for each other. That they don’t acknowledge. And Holland is a girl that has been hurt by a relationship. She isn’t sure she wants to live that life anymore. But she is down for some fun! But the more time they spend together, the more they realize just how perfect that connection is. But there is just so much standing in the way of their happiness.
This book was a roller coaster of emotion. And I was holding out hope that they’d find their way to that amazing HEA that I knew was waiting for them. I had my doubts, knew the odds were stacked against them. But their story is one of hope, second chances, family, and reaching for happiness! It was everything I was hoping for them, an so much more!
Another great book in the Montgomery Ink Boulder series! I loved Lincoln, Ethan, and Holland’s story. It was not only a good mmf book, but in general just a great story. I can’t wait for the next book in the series.
Fantastic! I absolutely LOVED this story! Lincoln, Ethan, and Holland are beautiful together. Now I have to read ALL of Ryan’s Ink stories! Mad love.
“Sated In Ink” is my first read by Carrie Ann Ryan and by way of introduction to her work, it most definitely leaves a lasting impression. As a huge fan of MM romances The blurb to this book caught my attention. In it we meet Ethan and Lincoln. Both are openly bisexual and have been best friends since childhood. They are however, in denial. Madly in love with each other but hiding it from one another for fear of ruining their friendship. Enter Holland, a beautifully broken women they “run” into at the park in her wedding dress after finding her fiancé in a compromising position. The three hit it off immediately and their attraction to one another runs deep. Complicated much? Yes, but in a very good way. Holland is exactly what both men need to complete themselves and each other. Watching these three get together despite all the obstacles standing in their way makes for one helluva a wonderful HEA. TBR and enjoy and if you’re like me and a Carrie Ann Ryan newbie, you’ll be TBRing the rest of her fantastic books in this interconnected series as well. (I read an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review.)
