Reading a book by Carrie Ann Ryan gives you all of the feels and Sated in Ink is AMAZING!! Ethan and Lincoln have been best friends since grade school until they find Holland and the duo becomes a trio of best friends. Will Holland become the missing piece allowing them to find the love they’ve all been wanting or does a mad man destroy the best thing to ever happen? Loved it!!!
I have never rooted for a trio this much…
This story brings Ethan, Lincoln, and Holland to technicolor life. A runaway bride with a broken heart is rescued by two guys who have been best friends and known each other most of their life. The tale is heartbreaking but I liked them so much I had to read it to see how they overcame, because I knew they would. I love that this book is long enough that we get to delve in depth into their lives. We meet their families and learn a lot of their history. We get sexy times that are smoking hot, sweet sentimental scenes, and realistic every day life. I couldn’t help loving this emotional read.
Sated In Ink a sexy MMF ménage which is part of a standalone series but it’s not essential to read the previous books to enjoy this one (I didn’t). It’s a great read that I’d definitely recommend.

Tor Thom gives a phenomenal performance as he narrates this ménage. He easily transfers between characters, and his voices are smooth as silk. His performance is easy to fall into. He is a master storyteller and I can’t wait for his next narration!

Ethan-computer wiz
Holland- business owner, fiancé cheated on wedding day
Lincoln- artist
Sated in Ink by Carrie Ann Ryan was a wonderful book about two best friends who stumble across a woman in the park dressed in a wedding dress drinking wine. They become immediate friends and find out that in fact, she walked in on her fiancé cheating with her sister on her wedding day. They do everything in their power to help her get her life back on track.
Lincoln is an artist who’s best friend is Ethan, have known each other their entire lives and have been best friends for the same amount of time. The only problem is that Lincoln has also had a crush on Ethan for years. But refuses to act on it because he’s scared it will ruin the friendship.
Ethan is a computer whiz who is married to the job and would be lost without Lincoln to keep him fed and taken care of. He has also had a crush on Lincoln but won’t do anything to risk the friendship.
Holland is a small boutique owner who is slowly getting her life back together after walking in on her sister and her fiancé together on her wedding day.
The guys invite Holland over for a friendly game night. Too much alcohol and things get a little crazy. After that one night, they realize they need to be a throuple. But have so many doubts and concerns they are scared to try it. Will it work? Will it fail epically and lose the friendships they have worked so hard to create?
Menage romance with plenty of steam, angst and a happy ending after a few bumps in the road.
5 star Review Sated in Ink (Montgomery Ink: Boulder #2) by Carrie Ann Ryan
AUDIO REVIEW:
Carrie Ann Ryan is a relatively new author to me and why that is, I have no idea.
Sated In Ink is a story of love and friendship and is Lincoln, Ethan and Holland’s story. Narrated by Tor Thom who does a good job bringing the story to life. It is a story of misunderstandings, secrets, love and I was cheering for them to get the happily ever after all three of them deserve.
I loved the friendship between Lincoln and Ethan as they finally admitted to their feelings and when Holland was added into the mix, it seemed to complete them.
As always some familiar faces popped in and this added to my enjoyment.
Ethan, Lincoln, and Holland come together in this book and learn to work through insecurities and self doubt. Ethan and Lincoln happen upon Holland when she’s at an all time low. They need each other to grow and heal. I loved their chemistry and strength!
Ethan, Lincoln, and Holland’s story is great. Both Ethan and Lincoln have been trying to deal with their feelings alone and long comes Holland to complete them. Ethan and Lincoln have always been attracted to each other but convinced that the other only wanted to be friends. Along comes Holland and they realize that the feelings are mutual but also include her. As they navigate this new dynamic all 3 come to realize that love is what holds them together. I cannot wait for the next book in this series.
Holland meets Ethan & Lincoln after running away from her wedding. They become friends, but one game nigHT and too much alcohol later, sober man’s thoughts become a drunk man’s actions. These three are all navigating around the best they can while trying to get out of their own heads. Good read.
Wow!!!
I really enjoyed reading this book!!!The dynamics between Ethan,Lincoln and Holland was loving and emotional !!!! I can’t wait to read more!!!
This is the second of the boulder series, it’s Ethan, Lincoln, and Holland’s story. Ethan and Lincoln are best friends have been since they were kids and couldn’t see it any other way. Holland is a runaway bride that just happens to cross paths with the guys one day. The story was well written, page turning, great characters! Love the authors work and this was no exception! Look forward to reading the next in the series!
Sated in Ink is the story of Ethan, Holland, and Lincoln. Since I have been reading these stories I was waiting to read about Ethan and Lincoln but the introduction of Holland made the story that much better. The development of their relationship was written so well and was scorching! The circumstances of how Holland came upon Ethan and Lincoln added another layer to the story. Also the added issues that Lincoln had to deal with was something I wasn’t expecting but really added to the story. For a while a was worried they weren’t going to get their happily ever after but in the end it all worked out on a very realistic way. Can’t wait for the next story!
4.5-loved it stars!
I am new to the Montgomery Ink series by Carrie Ann Ryan, but I am loving them so far and am so excited to read them all. I had the opportunity to listen to the audiobook of Sated in Ink. Tor Thom was amazing bringing this story to life. I just loved Ethan and Lincoln. They have been best friends for a long time, but what lies under the surface? Enter Holland. Now these two friends have possibly found what they have been missing.
Ethan and Lincoln are best friends but have also never let the other know how they truly feel. When a chance meeting with Holland changes everything, you can feel the steamy chemistry pouring from the pages. But could they allow themselves what they truly what? Sated in Ink was emotional and angsty and I loved every minute of it! A definite must read and/or listen!
4.5-stars! Listened and reviewed for Sultry Sirens Book Blog.
Happy listening!
Ethan, Holland, and Lincoln were beautiful together. I loved every page of this story and I was so disappointed when it ended. The way the characters were written was pure genius on Ms Ryan’s part, and I am once again amazed at what she has written. I cannot wait for the next book.
I love when you read a story and all you find is love. Sated in Ink shows that love has no boundaries. Love is love is love. Lincoln and Ethan have been best friends forever. Their friendship is deeper than any other but when Holland finds her way into their path, they know they can’t let her go. She will complete this love that has been brewing. I love this Montgomery Ink series. The emotion, the depth and the love that shines through, makes this story so special.
Wow wow wow. I’m so obsessed with these three! I loved the fact that Lincoln & Ethan were in love with each other (GAHHHHH! So freaking sweet!) and that they both realized that Holland was who they needed to make the perfect relationship.
They really didn’t have an easy path to their HEA: insecurities, misundertandings, & family, made them have to work especially hard to get past al
I absolutely adored this book. I know that I’m always going to get a quality, enjoyable read whenever I start a Carrie Ann Ryan book but everything about this book I loved. The characters – individually they’re relatable & ‘real’ but put the 3 of them together & I loved the quirkiness of the conversations. Each character complemented the others. The storyline was great & moved at just the right pace. There was drama, there was a twist that I wasn’t expecting but most of all the emotions of the characters shined through. From start to finish – wonderful.
I love when authors write a story about three instead of the everyday couple dynamic. I laughed, cried, and yelled with this book. I didn’t want to put this story down. Loved the Unique name Holland. She was great, I truly felt for her when her family did what they did. I can completely see where she felt alone. I felt it was interesting that Ethan and Lincoln both thought the same thing but were completely wrong since they didn’t communicate. It was nice that communication was brought into the story, which is very key to all relationships. Holland may just be my favorite now.
I guess I am late to the game with the Montgomery’s and I have a lot to catch up with because I love these people and need to know them better. As an audible book this was wonderful to listen to. The narration held my attention and made me want to stop what I was doing and listen more. I will look for more by this author soon and more from this narrator. I can’t wait!
