When love arrives via special delivery.Joy Winters lives for Christmas. Maybe because as a child growing up in foster care, she never experienced the true meaning of the season. That’s why the charity she began with her best friend to help make under privileged kids’ Christmas wishes come true is so near and dear to her heart. But this year, those wishes may be derailed when a clerical mistake … clerical mistake sends all the gifts to the wrong address. Hoping to locate the gifts before Christmas, Joy tracks down the delivery to the nearby home of a…holiday scrooge! Who cares that he’s the most attractive man she’s ever met? It’s his blustery mood that has her Ho-Ho-Ho turning into No-No-No.
Gabriel Frost has no time for annoying interruptions. He’s already burning the midnight oil with a crazy case load, on top of caring for his ailing grandfather. So, when the delivery company claims he can’t return the hundred packages delivered in error, Gabriel is anything but full of holiday cheer.
But there’s something about the idyllic town of Snowdon, Massachusetts that brings holiday magic into lives of even the biggest bah-humbuggers. Can the sweet smile of this all-kinds-of-adorable do-gooder melt the ice off Frost’s heart and save Christmas for everyone?

Was the mistake in delivery really a mistake.
Or was it one gift given unconventionally?
Read how the one good person left shifts the life of a scrooge at Christmas.
Looks like cupid is starting a little early this year and shot his arrow dead center.

Joy and her friend run a nonprofit name make a Kid’s Holiday Merry. When some gifts were delivered to the wrong address the track them down to a home in Snowden, MA where Gabriel is taking care of his sick grandfather. He isn’t too happy about the delivery of packages that aren’t theirs. Sparks fly between them as the get the packages loaded and Gabriel is fighting his need to grab Joy and kiss her. Joy goes out with a friend later that same night and they end up running into Gabriel when he sends some drinks over to them. Things heat up between them again but when he gets a call he takes his anger out on Joy. Will Joy give Gabriel another chance? Can he make up for how bad he treated her?

This is another good read in the “Sleeping With the Scrooge” stories!! All stand alone reads and holiday romances with a scrooge twist. It’s a short and quick read that is very addictive. Snowden, MA appears to be one magical town. Joy and Gabriel are so perfect for one another. This story truly shows holiday spirit. A very enjoyable holiday short story!!
I loved this book so much. I could not put this book down from beginning to end. The chemistry was so good and the story was amazing in every way.
This is the perfect short story read dor the holiday season. Joy and Gabriel are both doing and caring for other people. One just doesn’t feel in the xhristmas spirit and the othwr believes in nothing but the xhristmas spirit. Joy has to find the lost presents for the kids of the charity that is so close to her heart. Gabriel has a case load to full foe any time for the holiday season, plus he is looking after his grandfather.
Something frothy-looking, peppermint adorned and packs a kick……….a Peppermint Joy!!!
I adored Santa’s Special Delivery as the story is just wonderful and there is a great HEA and epilogue. Joy and her best friend ad “sister” Deidre started and run a non-profit named Make a Kid’s Holiday Merry. It’s mission is to deliver gifts and things to children who are in foster care so that they have a wonderful Christmas. They both grew up in the foster care system and that is where they met and bonded, with both of them helping the other and being the support they needed but did not have.
Joy discovers that all of the items on their “wish list” which people can purchase from have been bought. There is only one issue…………..it says a lot of them have been delivered but no packages have actually come to the house. It turns out Joy typed in the wrong street name in and everything has gone to a different home in their small town of Snowden, MA.
When Joy goes to the house to get the packages and explain what has happened, and her mistake, she is confronted by Gabriel, who is none to nice or sympathetic. Gabriel is an attorney from Boston that has been at his grandfather’s house in Snowden for a few months, ever since his grandfather was diagnosed with cancer. So Gabriel has been under a lot of stress and having over 20 packages stacked up in the house is one thing too many for this man. Gabriel helps Joy with getting the packages back to her house and leaves it at that, even though he really wants to kiss her and do other things.
Later that night Joy and Deidre are out having a few drinks when the bartender puts two Peppermint Joy drinks in front of them sent over by none other than Gabriel. He is out for the night to see if he can pick up a woman have a night of release before he blows. He ends up with more than he bargained for when Joy invites him back to her place…………just think bows, wrapping paper and tape. But there is a nice reward for the both of them after doing such a good job.
This is a really lovely and cheery short story which also has a nice amount of steamy sizzling heat to it. I thoroughly enjoyed the story of Joy and Gabriel and loved the Epilogue one year later.
I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
This was a good short read about a mistake in sending packages to the wrong place and it leading to a sweet romance. I enjoyed the story of Gabriel and Joy and will be reading more books by this author.

Welcome to Snowdon, Massachusetts where the town consists of a good mix of folks, including the holiday loving folks and the scrooges. Meet Joy and Gabriel. Joy grew up in foster care so Christmas was never the holiday she read about until she became an adult. She created a charity with a friend and together they make sure underprivileged children get a gift for Christmas. This year however, there was a mistake in the delivery address and now has to track them down and ensure they get to the right place in time for Christmas. Gabriel is man who works around the clock and he even squeezes time to look after his sick grandfather. He doesn’t have time for the holidays. One day he receives delivery, that he did not order and was told he could not deny. Can this little mix up bring these characters together? Can Joy show Gabriel what the holidays can be shiny and bright? A great short story for the holiday season or anytime read. Enjoy!

I really enjoyed this novella. I love how Sierra writes these cute little stories. They never seem rushed to me, and always have a good storyline. I loved all of the Christmas related names. My favorite line that made me laugh out loud was ” Thank God I’m holding boxes in front of my jeans, otherwise it would have looked like I wanted to deliver my own package right in her chimney shoot.’ I hope this novella can be expanded to read more about Joy and Gabriel.
Joy is trying to make Christmas special for the kids at her charity whilst Gabriel can’t do without it, imagine the shock when a clerical mistake sends the gifts for Joy’s kids to Gabriels home.
Short story pack with holiday feels, romance and steamy moments.

I loved this cute, sexy, sweet, short story about a girl named Joy, who was definitely appropriately named, based on her perky/joyful attitude. She is all about the spirit of Christmas and ends up crossing paths with a very sexy “scrooge”, Gabriel. Gabriel has a lot on his plate, but can’t get Joy out of his thoughts. Their chemistry is amazing. This Christmas short story is definitely worth reading, Sierra does an amazing job with this special holiday story, it really got me in the holiday spirit. 😉
Overall a fun and flirty holiday read. Some of the cheesy inuendoes were a bit much, but still enjoyable.
Gabriel the “Scrooge” Frost can bahumbug me any day! This story was jam packed with laughter, heat and enough Christmas cheer to put a smile on anyone’s face!
I absolutely enjoyed Joy and Gabriel’s whirlwind romance! Each page had me craving more and before I knew it I was done with this amazing story!
What started out as a way of ensuring that other children didn’t feel the way Joy did as a child takes a turn when the parcels were delivered to the wrong address. When she heads to the house where they were delivered she didn’t expect to run into Mr. Grinch himself.
Gabriel has a lot on his plate so the last thing he needs is to be bombarded with parcels that don’t belong to him. When the owner of the parcels shows up at his door will he realize that she is the Joy of the season?
Cute quick and easy read!!
Joy accidentally set a bunch of packages to deliver to the wrong address when she meets Gabriel.
Who is helping his grandfather while he battles pancreatic cancer.
Really enjoyed this. Would’ve loved it was full length. These 2 were awesome!
