Focus Jake. Focus on the deal, not the sexy redhead with the fiery personality to match. When Gladdie alerted me to our Santa problem, my first reaction was to beg, borrow an steal to get someone else to put on this red suit. Although with a view like this, I could muster a few hours of Santa duty as long as I get a glimpse of Santa’s Little Helper.
If you are looking for a Christmas romance with a bit of heat this is a good one to pick up. Jake starts off as just a bit of a jerk, but things change when he meets Sam. Events around the family business also help to change his outlook. It was a fun book to read and just the right length for a quick read in the afternoon. I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.
Loved this lively lovely quick read, seasonal setting. Romance, sweet heat, development of characters. Fun read. Recommended.
A little holiday cheer goes along way.
When a deal is on the table a decision to be made s distraction in the gor if Santas helper.

This was a wonderful, sexy, and happy read! Shaan delivers stories that you don’t want to put down and that warm your heart til the end. A Happily Ever After that was a joy to read.
Very very short. It was more of a short story than a book. But it was cute, funny, sexy, and everything inbetween. The characters were well written. Jake was a lonely guy that wasn’t looking for love but that’s what he found with someone he never expected. He fell hard and fast but unlike a lot of guys he didn’t run from it. He embraced it and ran towards it. Loved the story and think he could have been a great longer ok!
Santa’s Little Helper is the first book I’ve read by Shaan Ranae. The cover image drew me in and I wanted to read it before I even know what it was about. It was a quick but cute romantic comedy that was entertaining and I read it in one sitting. Jake is the big wig, owner/boss of a department store his dad started. He is taking over and trying to make his dad proud and be a success, but he needs a Santa, and fast. He decides to fill in for the first shift, and cant take his eyes off the sexy elf. She almost makes it worth it for him to deal with bratty kids for a day. This is the start of a funny but cute relationship between Jake and the fiery redhead elf. Highly recommend the book. 5 star review.

It novel is short but hot, Jake, who is second generation of his family’s department store, finds himself in the unusual predicament of having to fill in for Santa one afternoon. He isn’t exactly what you call kid friendly. However, with a little help from Santa’s little helper, both Jake is able to pull off the perfect santa, but isn’t the last of his worries. I don’t want to give away too much, as this book is less than 100 pages, but it has all the markings of a great Hallmark movie and will give you some series warm and fuzzies, plus, and in some hot steamy romance scenes and you have the perfect holiday read!

This was such a lovely Christmas read, the season may be over but I always love reading Christmas stories so I was more than happy to dive straight in. I have read a few books by this author now so I know I’m going to be entertained and as I expected I wasn’t disappointed. Ms Ranae has an amazing talent for pulling you into her stories quickly and although this was a quick read I was still fully immersed in what I was reading. I really liked the characters and the chemistry between Jake and his little helper was pretty hot! Because the story was so short there was little time for the author to fully develop the characters but this is to be expected from a novella sometimes, it didn’t really take much away for me as the reader and I thoroughly enjoyed it!
Santa’s Little Helper by Shaan Ranae. This is a short Holiday romance. Its the story of Jacob Laurel aka Jake who is taking over his parent’s store Laurel’s . Jake thinks bigger is better and is wanting to sell and expand the store so that his parents can really enjoy their retirement instead of just survive. His parents have worked hard all their life and he wants them to reap the benefits. Jake also doesn’t think he’s ever gonna settle down so he has a friend with benefits. He doesn’t have time for a real relationship until he meets Santa’s elf at the store. She makes him feel things he’s never felt. Will the sale of the store go through or will he lose everything and will he risk his heart for a girl he finally thinks is the one. Loved this sweet, sexy story.

A Christmas Romance just right for the a quick read. Not for those under 18 due to adult theme.
This was the perfect story for filling in some quiet time. Shaan Ranae has written this quick page turning story. I loved her characters, as well as their personality. Reading how Jake was afraid of children cracked me up. Reading his thoughts was hot and steamy. But his loyalty to family and friends was refreshing. Pulling this story together. All the feels were there, the story was complete. What more could a reader ask for? I will be looking for more from Shaan Ranae.
Santa’s Little Helper by Shaan Ranae is a short holiday read. The story is a fun, steamy romantic read. I don’t want to say too much because I will give the story away. The characters are good and I like that there is a focus on the importance of family as well as romance. This was a cute holiday read that put me in the Christmas spirit. Jake is sexy and handsome in the description. I like that he grabs the emergency and fills in as Santa. I look forward to more reads from this author in the future.
Santa’s Little Helper written by Shaan Ranae. I liked this story and I loved the chemistry between Jake and Sam especially when she’s telling him off. I loved the stores story and how Jake was trying to give his parents what he thinks they deserve. This story is about understanding what you have and how to appreciate it before it changes or you loose it for good. The one thing I didn’t like was how quickly Sam’s opinion changed of Jake, it made me not like her a little bit.
This is the first book I have read from this author and she now has an new fan. I love a good short Christmas story and this author did just that. You can’t help but to fall in love with these characters. I was into this story so much I finished it in only one sitting.
Jake is trying to ge the biggest deal of his life. His wants to make his dad proud. Jake is working and all of sudden his secretary comes in and tells him they have a problem. He hired a Santa for his department store for the kids but he didn’t show up for a good reason. Now as the boss he has to put the suit on and he can’t stand kids. When Jake meets Santa’s helper that is all he can think about. Will Jake get the deal of his life or does fate have something else planned for him?
I absolutely loved this book. The storyline has it all hot romance, humor, and love. These characters will keep you hooked on this book until the very end. Jake is an alpha male that wants it all. He wants to make his dad proud. Santa’s helper is a beautiful woman. She has her own story I wish I knew more of. This is a perfect story to get you into the holiday spirit. I can’t wait to see what this author will write next.

This story was cute and a little naughty. Jake is a jerk but a truthful jerk. He isn’t out here leading women on. He is just real and maybe too honest. His dislike for germ infested little people is accurate and understandable. Lol! I thought Sam was a little unbelievable as a character. No one does what she did and confidently might I add. Over all the book had me laughing and it turned out to be really sweet. Jake learned a lot and it brought him closer to his family. The story was perfectly balanced with laughter, love, naughty moments and family. You felt the lightness with which the author wanted the story portrayed.
Santa’s Little Helper by Shaan Ranae was a quick, cute read for me.
When a department store Santa ends up dying, Jake must take matters Into his own hands. Jake is the worst choice for a Santa because he really doesn’t like children. He does however become quite fond of one of Santa’s helpers.
Sam yells at the fake
Santa not realizing he is her boss. When she finds out, she expects to be fired but Jake can’t seem to do that. He has other visions of her. Instead he gets her to help him find the perfect Santa for his store. All of this is happening while Jake is planning to expand with the help of Marcum & Heath.
What will happen to the future of Laurel Department Store? What will happen to Jake and Sam? Will she make it home to see nana and will her feelings change towards Jake during the holiday season. I thought this book was well written and a sweet read.

Santa’s Little Helper is a fun, short holiday read by Shaan Ranae. This is the first book I have read by this author, however it definitely won’t be the last. I truly enjoyed the witty dialogue and the plot was intriguing it held my attention from beginning to end. There were some very steamy love scenes and a happy ending. This is one of the better Christmas stories that I’ve read this year. I would highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a short fun read.
A few unexpected circumstances and the scenes and characters are written with such realism pulls together beautifully.
He had tried everything to get out of wearing the Santa suit but when he sees his elf that changes. He needs to concentrate not the red head with him. Maybe just maybe there is an added bonus. See what will happen between them

This was a super fast fun read that I totally enjoyed. It was different than I was expecting and I’m completely happy with that.
This had a bit of a different storyline that made it even more enjoyable and for me anything Christmas is a winner. It moved along at a super quick pace that really didn’t seem that way. The writing was flawless and the characters were fun. I do wish there had been more time for some character building, but in saying that I still loved them. I also loved that there was just enough time in this short read for the business deal part of the story.
I loved Jake and he made me laugh with his inner dialogue about children and Gladdie was completely awesome. LOL
Awesome book and I can’t wait to look into what else this author has available.
Loved It!
