Callie Quinn has a crush. The bad news: Callie has a crush on Santa. Or at least, she has a crush on the hot guy wearing the Santa costume at the mall. The worse news: Callie is currently wearing The Ugliest Elf Costume on the Planet. (Complete with The Ugliest Hat on the Planet.)The good news: The guy in the Santa suit thinks Callie’s the most beautiful elf he’s ever seen. The worst news of all: … seen.
The worst news of all: It doesn’t matter. Because Santa’s got a secret. And he’ll hop a sleigh or hitchhike back to the North Pole before he’ll let Callie know what it is.

Ohmigod, this is such a cute story. I love Ms. Costa’s sexy heroes. They’re so real. And I love this couple. So much so that I can’t wait until Valentine’s Day and am starting the next book right away. It’s been a while since I read a book that I can’t put down but this one I wished was many times longer.
Gotta praise the author’s technique. She packed so much into this little novelette. The characters were well defined, the emotions were fully felt, the pacing was perfect, and the plot was complex. I’ve read a lot of other full length romance novels that don’t even come close to achieving that.
Ms. Costa’s stories don’t have graphic sex and don’t always end in a marriage proposal, but HFNs (Happy For Nows) are also acceptable for the romance genre, so don’t get your knickers in a twist. Book 2 picks up where this one leaves off.
Great holiday read for me. Pulled me out of my slump after reading a couple of clunkers. Perfect size for people in a time crunch who just want to relax for an hour or two with a good book. I love all of Ms. Costa’s books, especially her Christmas books. You should check all of them out.
A Wonderful Christmaa Tale!
Annabelle Costa gifts us with a sweet story of unexpected treats that can be found when least expected.
I adored Dean’s opportunity to reveal, to himself, just what important feelings he still could express to others. Watching these characters overcome mental and physical struggles was heartwarming.
I will be looking up other stories in this series by Annabelle, as I loved how I felt after reading Santa Crush!
Received a free copy for a review. Love this story. It is a sweet, cute romance. You can’t help but smile while reading it.
I received this novella for free, but I liked it so much that I bought the entire Santa’s Girl box set. I had never read any book where the hero is in a wheelchair. It was fascinating, revealing and also very romantic.
Santa Crush by Annabelle Costa is a very short contemporary romance, perfect for those with limited reading time. Ms. Costa has delivered a book that is well-written and filled it with lovable characters. Dean, stuck in a wheelchair after an accident, accepts his brother’s trade of a room away from their parents house over the holidays in exchange for Dean taking his brother’s place as a mall Santa. Callie hires on to play an elf during the holidays for extra money. Their story has a bit of drama, humor, action and lots of attraction. I enjoyed this quick story. Santa Crush is book 1 of Dean and Callie’s story. It is a complete book, but since it’s book 1, I guess more of their story will come next.
I voluntarily read a complimentary copy of this book that I received from Bookfunnel. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
