Rather convoluted plot that I found intriguing. Smooth read though.
She’d a few tears reading it
It kept me enthralled. I had fun reading it.
Loved it
Do not like romance books but this was good story
Characters had lots of challenges
Like real life
This is a good read about making decisions with God’s purpose in mind. I was cheering from the sidelines as I hoped the characters would make the “right choices in the end.
I love this book! It’s not very often that you get a romance novel that deals so well with forgiveness. It was very well done and I love the characters.
A wonderful love story. After working as an attorney for so long, Nora knew no other life existed until she inherited a worn-down mansion in South Carolina on the beach. Good readm slow paced with a good ending.
I enjoyed reading this book especially on how it deals with issues with marriage and seeing how God helped everyone work through these situations. Very well written, kept me engaged.
She could do it on her own with God’s help
Loved this book! Could not put it down. Great story.
Found this a good read…enjoyed the main character! Understood her pain for being doubted as a junior partner in her law firm after one of the senior partners was accused of embezzling! Her saving grace was that she had inherited an old mansion on the southern beach when her aunt died. Her aunt hoped she would use it to help people but she had to be willing to move from her longtime law practice and live in the southern town which she had loved as a child growing up.
During the time she stayed on the “ranch” as it was called, she fell in love with the town vet who was caring for a mare he was boarding at the stables. They both enjoyed getting to know each other until she found out that he was married!
This became a problem that caused her to go back to her law practice and put the ranch on the market. The ensuing story is where I will leave you as it is the gist of the story. I urge you to read it! It is well worth the time!
Super
A beautifully put together story with no short cuts…enjoyed it very much
The characters of the story displayed emotions that happen when starting a relationship without being honest about some things.
I enjoyed reading the book especially since it was about Murel’s Inlet.
Good story. Basic Christian romance with happy ending. Good characters. The story keeps your interest.
Sanctuary was a pleasure to read. An interesting plot with a solid (but not overwhelming) Christian perspective.
I will look forward to reading more of Laurie’s writings!!!!
