Dawn breaks at Muddiford Beach and the body of a young African man is discovered lying on the sand. Was he a desperate asylum seeker, drowned in his attempt to reach the safe shores of Britain? Or is there a more sinister explanation for his death? Irritated to discover that the investigation will be a joint one with the neighbouring police force at Salterton CID, Detective Sergeant Kate Redman … Kate Redman is further annoyed by her Salterton counterpart, one of the rudest young women Kate has ever encountered.
Tensions rise as the two teams investigate the case and when a second body is discovered, Kate and her colleagues are to about realise just how far people will go in the cause of doing good…
Sanctuary is the eighth in the bestselling Kate Redman Mysteries series, from crime writer Celina Grace.

I like books by this author.
Celina Grace is definitely NOT a graceful writer. Tedious clunky annoying sentence structure.
Enjoyed this book
I really enjoy this series. It’s well written, interesting enough to hold the reader’s attention, and not easy to work out. I await each new book.
I’ve read all in this series and have enjoyed them. I like the British phrases and police procedures. I also like how Kate is developing a life of her own.
I enjoy this author’s writing. Thank you for your talent
This kept my interest all the way thru.
This was a good read. Fast paced and interesting. I enjoy the main character, Kate. Her back story is told in increments to fill in some of her reactions to situations. It is a well written book.
The story dragged to such an extent that i stopped reading the book.
I enjoyed this book. It kept me interested and had a good storyline.
Live the Redmon series
I highly recommend it; read over a weekend and hard to to put down.
Celeste Robertson
easy read, a bit of a ‘mandatory’ tear-jerker since it deals with present day situations.
Fun book.
The book didn’t catch me at all… Didn’t draw me in to want to even finish it.
Enjoy the differences between the UK spelling of words vs. the US spellings.
Loved this book
So far I’ve liked all of Celina Grace’s books.
