Who says you can’t fall in love at seven years old?I know I did.The love I felt for my babysitter, Camryn Davison at such a young age transformed over time.By the time I was a teen that love turned into fantasies I knew would never come true.By the time I saw her again at twenty-one I was determined to make those fantasies a reality. If only she’d see me as the man I am now and not the little boy … as the man I am now and not the little boy she used to soothe when I had nightmares as a child.
She’s the only one that has an issue with our seven-year age difference, but I’m determined to prove to her that a younger man is exactly what she needs.

I forgot how much I love and adore all these characters and this story was such a fun read. I love the premise of the boy who loves his babysitter and then the application of it as adults. This book was fantastically written and kept me completely engrossed and loving the blend of their history and their present/future.
Marie James does it again with a great Cerberus MC book. It starts off slower than I prefer, but, it’s entertaining and well worth the read.
Oh my god, what a book. I couldn’t put it down. It was nice to see all the couples, and characters. I loved the camaraderie of everyone.
I loved Samson and Camryn together, they may have known each other as children. But they learn about each other over time.
I laughed, cheered and groaned throughout this book.
I highly recommend this book, and can’t wait for more.
I thought the men of Cerberus MC were HOT!! The kids are just as great! Love that Samson has been in love with Dr Camryn Davison since he was 10! How does Samson get Dr Cam to fall for him is fun, loving and shows her he has grown into a trusting, loving man.
I loved this one. Samson is just a wonderful character. He was a 10 year old boy that fell in love with his babysitter. Little does he know that that dream might just come true for him as an adult. Camryn was there to keep Samson safe from the monsters when Samson was little. They grew up and grew apart. They run into each other at the hospital where she is not a doctor and Samson instantly has that feeling again. But it is not that easy this time. Camryn fights hard not to give into her feelings for Samson but once she finally does hold on because these two are steaming hot together. I absolutely love the chemistry these two have. But one fateful night after one phone call and a tragic death all that could be taken from them. Camryn loses someone important to her and feels guilt upon guilt. But no matter what Samson tries to be there for her no matter how much she pushes him away. Will these two be able to survive this? Very well written, amazing chemistry between Samson and Camryn, enjoyable storyline. I loved this one and cant wait to read the next one to see what happens with Tag.
Loved Samson and Camryn’s story. So amazing getting to continue the Cerberus MC with the kids all grown up! Can’t wait for the next one.
3.5 Stars
Samson was an okay read. I’m excited to read the next generation stories, but were is all the chaos, life can’t be this dull when you grew up amongst bikers can it? I mean there is abit of drama, but nothing exciting. I loved that the originals Cereberus guys/gals are in this book to see how their doing. I’ve liked Samson from the bit I’ve seen of him in the previous books, he’s the laid back, true to himself kind of guy. But I really couldn’t connect with Camryn, for a doctor she wasn’t very personable. She was downright rude. I waited for something to make me change my mind about her. I love my MC books so I know I will be looking forward to the next book in this series.
Samson was a great story. The plot was great, it was written well with many feelings. Marie James did a great job on it.
Samson and Camryn were perfect for each other, they may have had a few bumps along their journey but their bond was strong. They were drawn to one another, their attraction was strong and their chemistry was sexy and sweet. Camryn and Samson were great together. I enjoyed their story.
This was a great story, I’d suggest reading.
Thank you, Marie James. Great work 🙂
I can add another favorite to my long list of books. This series and the original series is my go to reread of series. Marie writes incredible stories. I could not wait to read Samsons book and to see how he turned out and the wait was worth it. I look forward to more and will be on the edge of my seat waiting.
We’re back in the Cerberus MC world and there’s nowhere else I’d rather be! I actually really enjoyed this storyline of the older heroine and younger hero. Marie James executed it to perfection and did not disappoint. I highly recommend this series and can’t wait for Tug’s story, I have a feeling it’s gong to be epic!!
Camryn use to babysit Samson and held him when he had nightmares , he told her he was going to marry her and she blew him off years later he sees her again and all bets are off, but she doesn’t want anything to do with him until he starts showing her he is everything but a kids anymore
I love being reunited with the Cerberus boys <3
This instalment in the series is Samson and Camryn's story. What I liked about their story was the reverse age gap, made a nice change having a slightly older woman (by 7 years). Cam used to babysit him when he was a kid. He said he would marry her when he was 10 and his feelings for her have never changed. Now she is back in front of him he is determined to make her his.
Samson's determination to win over Cam is heartfelt and totally swoon-worthy once he stops being a bit cheesy. He never falters in his pursuit, even when she tries to dissuade him at the beginning. She soon realises there is more between them that could blossom into something much more.
Well done Marie James with another great visit to the Cerberus family. She has given us a well paced, enticing read filled with a lot of steam and some great heart and emotion.
This author knows how to engage her readers and her characters are the ones that stick with you. Samson was a unique man, alpha but also sweet. He’s known who his love was from an early age and he never gave up on getting her; even when life got in the way.
This was an amazing younger man/older woman story that was well written and fun to read. I don’t want to give too much away, but this story was one I found both steamy and sweet. I loved Samson’s mentality and his ways. Even though there was seven years between these two characters they fit each other to a t.
Action, passion, heat, well developed characters and interesting plot and of course the MC; this was a great read. I received an ARC and I am leaving an honest review.
Can’t get enough of the Cerberus MC. It’s one of my all time favourites. I could read them over and over. Love all these characters. Samson’s story was another great edition.
Samson has crushed on Cam since he was a boy. Now he’s a man, and knows she’s the one for him.
How can he prove to Cam, that he’s the man for her?
Let me start off with the facts: this is not a standalone, this is part of a series, this story is better having been read after the previous books, this is a second gen story (once again previous books).. I think you get the point. When Samson runs into Camryn, the girl that he fell in love with when he was just a little kid, he immediately hits on her and gets shot down. Camryn doesn’t have time for someone that definitely has playboy written on his forehead, she is a doctor and is all work and no play. But Samson is not one to give up, and makes a point of making sure that he is wherever Cam is. Will he be able to get her to give him a chance? Or will he finally have to admit that he is too young for her?
I love these second gen stories! This one doesn’t have the action that we normally get from the Cerberus guys, but that doesn’t mean that it was boring! This has some of the hottest naughty bits I have read in a while and I loved every second! Samson and Cam’s story was a bit more on the sweet side, with some drama, and there was a moment or two where it brought out a lot of feels. I give this 5 stars.
I have always absolutely loved everything Marie has written, but I think with each book I love each one a little bit more. Samson and Cameron’s story was so good! I loved the age gap and how they grew up together. The history between them made this story that much sweeter!
Seeing Samson being this immature a-hole, was hysterical! I love how he kept trying to get Cam’s attention and failing so miserably. Hearing the talks between him and Griffin were equally entertaining. But, I loved when these talks finally clicked with him. We saw the determination and the change in Samson and it was fantastic. It was like watching a romance movie being played out! I didn’t feel like I was reading a book, I felt like I was watching a movie. Then we have Cam, who is desperately trying to resist. Her resisting him was really funny, but seeing her give in was so adorable!
I cannot do this review without talking about the rest of the crew. Seeing everyone together is always amazing, but seeing the couples together was so good! I love when we can continue to see characters from the past. Everyone was such an instrumental part in Samson and Cam’s coupling. Without them who knows what would have happened. We got just enough of each person to really be satisfied. We also got just enough of some other and new people to be super curious!
I cannot wait to see where the next book takes us. The ending to this one was spectacular!! It also left me really wanting to know what happens next!
Samson has been in love with Cameron since he was 10… Cameron had her future planned out since she was 14… becoming a doctor was her dream and that’s all she wanted… until she run in to Samson and he sure has grown up. Now she fight her feelings and samson is not giving up on the women of his dream…. this book was amazing and had all the feel . I recommend this book to everyone ….
Falling in love with your former babysitter is hard. Especially, when she still sees you as a kid. But Samson is determined to make her see him as the man that he his. I loved Camryn and Samson so much. I’m excited for what’s next.
I absolutely loved this book! Marie James has once again made me fall in Love with her characters. I’ve been a fan of the Cerberus MC since the beginning (Kincade was the first Marie James book I read) Samson didn’t disappoint at all!
Samson has been in love with Camryn since he was a kid and she babysat him and his sister. He just came home from college and sees her for the first time in many years, he’s determined that he’s going to make her his.
We first meet Samson at just seven years old. He tells his babysitter Camryn who is seventeen that’s he’s going to marry her when he turns ten.
Years pass and Camryn is doing her residency and now twenty eight. She’s come back home to finish. Samson is now twenty one and decided college life isn’t for him, so he’s come home to finish classes online.
Can Samson prove he’s no longer a child? Oh, his first attempt should have ended in her punching him.
Nine books into this series and I’m still in love with it. The books are different enough to keep my interest, while common enough to stay in the series. The characters we meet are believable and enjoyable to get to know. I applaud the author for keeping this series going. So, who’s next?
