SamanthaAbandoned at an orphanage as an infant, not allowed to be adopted out, I’ve always craved family, to belong. My life was about fighting and scratching for everything I wanted or needed. Seeing him, knowing he was what I wanted, I pursued him but why do I keep pushing him away when I know he is it for me. Trust is a big issue for me, If I can’t trust him, I’m going to lose him. With a life … With a life of hardships, it makes trust nearly impossible.
Dog
I watched her through windows and stalked her. She didn’t even know it. Then I introduced myself in the most unconventional way. Samantha is it for me. Now to make her see it. Then everything went to shit, it exploded all around us. Although I didn’t lie to her, omitting the truth was just as bad. What can I do to show her it’s not always like this. I need to make her see that I would love her unconditionally if she would just stop running.

Extremely Realistic MC Romance!
I didn’t quite know what to think when I first started reading this book. The writing is not the best at the beginning though it gets better as it goes. I think that what bothered me was that the characters were just too crass. Both the Hero and the heroine cursed non-stop and were yelling at each other and everyone else more than they talked normally.
I think the author was trying to go with authenticity and what a motorcycle club really is like, but I can imagine that an MC and the people involved are not your society elite. I know they are probably a crass, lewd and foul-mouthed bunch. However I really don’t like it in a romance.
Also I could tell that the author is fairly new because in some places things are described in every detail, such as how the heroine, Samantha is cleaning her house and putting in some laundry and then in the next load switching out the clothes in the washer to the dryer and putting a new load in the was. However, I don’t think she ever even described the Hero, Dog other than how big his dick was when she pierced it.
I nearly quit reading the book at about 15%, but ended up sticking it out because I got it as an advanced reader copy, and I committed to it. I soon found out that despite all the foul language and screaming, there is a pretty good story and I ended up reading it all the way through.
There are really two separate storylines but they stem from the same. Basically our heroine Samantha falls for Dog who is in a Motorcycle Club. She goes as his date to a barbecue they are holding and once she gets a look at how the women ate treated by the men in the club, she doesn’t like it.
The men try to “keep their women in line”, and if the women talk back to them, they punish the women. Also they pretty much treat the women as second class citizens even though they are technically part of the club just like the men. The women don’t need to know club business, they are expected to do women’s work like cooking and cleaning, and they aren’t supposed to argue with their men in front of the rest of the club.
Samantha is outspoken and independent and won’t stand for that kind of treatment and she talks some of the other women into the same. This causes trouble between the club president, Capone and his old lady Jenny. Capone eventually comes after Samantha and Jenny. So the club has to protect them.
The story is pretty good and I did like a lot of it. So I will give this three out of five stars. The romance between Dog and Samantha had a lot of ups and downs in a very short time. Also, there were just some very odd things that happened. Sam would at times start screaming at people and then just go nuts on them until she didn’t know where she was or what she was doing and then she would pass out. It had to do with her background growing up unloved, but it was just weird. But overall the book was worth reading and especially the way the that Dog and Samantha first met!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
This was a wild emotion filled ride. Everything would be ok and then suddenly everything went all to hell. Its definitely a good read and I’m looking forward to seeing where Dog and Sam go from here.
This is the second book in this series and I recommend you read book 1 first. Sam was raised in an orphanage without a chance of adoption due to her father refusing to sign papers. She has had to fight for everything and has major trust issues. She is a piercer at ink-Fusions. Dog has been seen her and is drawn to her and he goes and gets his junk pierced to meet her. As is with typical MC alphas, he wants what he wants, and he wants Sam.She is attracted to him but those damn walls she has erected! Kept me burning through the pages! There is a little cliffhanger but I will be patiently waiting for the rest of their story. Would love to read Spiders story!
A great MC story that is fast paced with two very complex characters. This is the second book in this series and I need to read the first. Both Samantha and Dog have pasts that are less than great, which causes issues between the two of them. There are lies, betrayals, and secrets that keep you turning the pages to see what will happen next. I am extremely excited to see how their story plays out after the shocking cliffhanger at the end.
Ok this was different , Samantha has not had an easy life growing up in the system so trust is not something she has with anyone, she knows Dog is it for her but keeps pushing him away , Dog knows she is his no ifs ands or buts about it but again there is the trust thing and that made me not like Samantha but I still liked the story is whole
This book takes you on an emotional roller coaster. My heart just broke for Samantha and everything she went through. Can’t wait to read Samantha and Dog’s happily ever after in the next book.
This is the 2nd book in this amazing series and is Samantha and Dog’s story. Samantha grew up in the foster system, and understandably has trust issues. Dog knows what he wants and is determined to get it, which is Sam. This is a well written story which is raw, gritty, emotional, heart-breaking, and is a thrilling read. I highly recommend for all MC lovers.
This is an emotional ride with fiery characters that keep you pulled into their story. Sam has had some rough times and carries that with her and at times those feelings burst through. She seems a bit unstable at times, which caused me to not connect with her right away, but as the story continues you start to understand. Dog is an OTT alpha that can definitely push buttons. They have an up and down ride with nail biting danger and excitement that keeps you guessing. I’m looking forward to more from this world and where all these characters will go.
Intense emotional broken beautiful heartstopping love story of Dog and Samantha

Samantha by Penny Anglene is book Two in the Ink-Fusions Series. This is the story of Samantha and Dog. I have not yet read the previous book so for me this was a standalone book but I did feel that maybe I should have read that one first. Dog and Samantha was already known to each other so I not sure how they officially met. Dog is a part of a MC so he has that attitude with one that Samantha is just his. But Samantha has issues trusting and having someone controlling her life due to her upbringing of being a orphan whose father didn’t want to sign papers that she could be adopted. It left her in the system until she aged out. This book does end with a cliffhanger.
Samantha is book two in the Ink Fusion series, and second book by Penny Anglene. Samantha is well written with a good solid story line and timeline. i enjoyed that you were not jumping back and forth trying to keep up. It is definitely action packed with a lot of emotions running through the entire story. This is not a standalone. It ends in somewhat of a cliff hanger in my opinion. So it looks like we will get the rest of Dog and Sam’s book at another time. I do suggest you read Book one Jax first.
A Winner!!
This is the first book I’ve read from this author and I loved it. Samantha’s past shaped her into the tough, foul mouth, untrusting person she was today. From nine months old until she graduated high school Samantha was never adopted out only because a father she never knew would not sign the papers. Samantha’s profession as a piercer at a tattoo shop was how she met the bad boy VP, Dog. You can probably guess how that went…anyway she was impressed!!
Dog wanted Samantha as his own even with the baggage that came with her. He would have to teach her the ways of how an MC ran and she would fight him every step of the way. Samantha never had a family so fitting into to Dog’s life was an uphill battle. Good thing they had that unmistakable connection.
A rouge from the MC was out for Samantha’s blood and it was up to Dog and his MC to protect her. This book was action packed and had me turning pages just to see how this would all work out. I have found a new author to follow and I can’t wait to see what comes next.
Ok . I really struggled with this book . Samantha didn’t make sense to me. One minute she was a strong independent woman the next she was a blubbering mess and then a violent nut case all with in the span of a few minutes. I couldn’t connect with Dog or Samantha or the story it just seemed to jump from here to there and it was hard to keep up Samantha’s character seemed to only hear and see what she wanted which made it frustrating and she even got on my nerves she just seemed to bounce quickly from one emotion to the next even though she was constantly told she was loved by Dog and that she was his woman . And all Dog wanted to do was spank her even though he knew she had issues and constantly told him that she would not abide by that. This book was very contradictory and left alot to be desired to be honest .
Samantha and Dog are amazing together. Takes time and effort for their relationship to hold. Coming into the MC world is hard for her because she fought for everything she has and not being first is a hard pass because she is tired of being put last. Dog tries to understand but his alpha attitude and deception tears them apart for some time. Love their connection.
