Seven years ago, she was sheltered. In need of guidance. I was a newly-ordained priest with a vow of celibacy. Our love affair was torrid, and wrong, and ended in heartbreak. We broke it off and went our separate ways. I left the priesthood. She left her home. Seven years later, she’s stranded in my NYC Club while a blizzard rages outside, and she wants a taste of dominance. I won’t let another … dominance.
I won’t let another man lay eyes on her, much less touch her.
She’s still my everything. My salvation.
And there’s no way I’m letting her go…

I love second chance romance, and I really enjoyed this suspenseful steamy story. Noah/Axel and Shandra meet unexpectantly one night at Verge, a BDSM club. It has been 7 years since their passionate, forbidden affair that left their hearts broken. They were both confused by their desires. Now Axel is a confident Dom and Shandra wants to explore her desires. Axel and Shandra rekindle their love and find their love was not so forbidden. But someone is out for revenge and their love could be shattered before it begins again. This was a thrilling and steamy story brought to life by narrators, Gunnar Qualen, and Jenna St. Claire. Their duet performance was dynamic, and their voices distinct. They easily portrayed all the excitement, emotion, and passion.
Wow, I loved this story. The history that these two characters went through before they find each other again is so heartbreaking that it makes you wonder how they could ever get over it.
Chandra has always been trying to find her way in life. Her family is no help and has only wanted her to do what they wanted. When she falls in love with a person, not for her she is branded a who*e and decides to leave her home.
Axel/Noah is that person. He was a priest when they first met. They were never supposed to fall in love but they do anyway. Years later they find themselves in the same place, Verge, a BDSM club.
What will these two do when they are snowed in together? Will they be able to deal with their past?
#mustreadstory
This series is wonderful. They can be read as standalone books also.
This is one of my favorite series to read. I never know what to expect except for a great story. Chandra and Axle show that you can lose your true love, but if it is meant to be it will happen. Chandra and Axle both grabbed my heart with their story of discovered, lost, and found love. Axle was a teddy bear underneath all that alpha personality. Chandra was a sweetheart that knew how to handle the alpha and cuddle the bear. I can’t wait to see what happens with them in future stories. I know they will make a wonderful family.
Salvation by Jane Henry is a second chance romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Gunnar Qualen and Jenna St. Claire. This is the fourth book in the NYC Doms series and can be read as a standalone.
I absolutely love Jane’s books! They always pull me in and leave me begging for more. I really enjoyed the relationship between Chandra and Noah “Axel”. Their history was messy but you couldn’t help but root for them.
I can’t wait to dive into more books in this series in the near future.
Gunnar and Jenna did a great job on the narration. I absolutely love duet narration it just brings the story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.
I would recommend this book to anyone who loves BDSM Romances, Second Chance Romances, or Romantic Suspense.

Book 4 of the series. This story has several previous characters from books one though three, with that in mind, it can still be read as a stand-alone. Once again, the author creates characters with personalities, real-life emotions, and back stories with hurt and anger that will have the reader rooting for them to come together and find their HEA. In this book there is mystery and suspense.
This is a second chance romance. Axel (Noah) is a man with a past. He works two jobs; by day he is a mechanic and by night he is a DM at the BDSM club in NYC – Club Verge. Chandra’s parents hold to the traditional customs of their old country, India; controlling her life in all aspects, where to go, who she can see, and who she shall marry. She has other plans and escapes to NYC to follow her dreams.
Axel is working at the club the night Chandra decides she needs to attend for research of her romance novel. The club is packed, and a blizzard is in the forecast. Axel and Chandra find themselves as the only two people left in the club, with nowhere to go.
Will their past hurts prevent them from overcoming the obstacles and prevent them from seeing each other who they really are? Will Chandra be able to convince Axel to scene with her – for research purposes? Are they safe in the club? Axel knows he is a Dom who enjoys control will Chandra find she is a submissive, and is she willing to give herself wholly to him?
The story has BDSM scenes along with explicit sex scenes. It is a fantastic read.
This was my first experience with the NYC Dons series, so it can be listened to as a standalone. I had no problem relating to the characters, storyline was interesting, with just the right amount of steam and it wouldn’t be a Jane Henry book without some intrigue and suspense.
Enjoyed Gunner and Jenna’s narration.

I just love duets and Gunnar Qualen and Jenna St Claire do this wonderfully! This book has so much depth to it that you will dive right in and not come up for air until it is over. Loved this book and it’s narration!
This is the 4th book in the NYC Doms series but can absolutely be read as a standalone! Axel is one of the Doms that works at Verge. He and Shandra know each other from a long time ago. Only she knew him as Father Noah and they had an inappropriate relationship. Fast forward to now, and she is finally willing to find out the things she dreams about. And that is how she ends up at a kink club with her friend. But when she is stranded at the club during a blizzard and Axle finds her sick in the bathroom-neither of their lives will be the same again.
Ordinarily I love this author’s stories. This one I had a hard time with though. I don’t know if it was because of the taboo with being with a priest or what. Parts of it just seemed forced to me. Almost as if the chemistry between them had to be forced into existence which seemed strange to me. The narration was good. Gunnar Qualen and Jenna St. Claire did good job although sometimes Jenna’s whispery voice kinda got on my nerves. I really think that is just a preference for me though. So on a whole I would give it a solid 4. It was the greatest I have listened to but it was the worst either, and it still makes me want to listen to more about the other characters in the series which is always a plus! #AudiobookObsessionReviewer
this is another sexy loving tale by this brilliant author!
it made me laugh, it made me cry, it soothed my soul!
highly recommended!
Salvation
NYC Doms
By: Jane Henry
Narrated by: Gunnar Qualen, Jenna St. Claire
Give me a Jane Henry book, and I know I am in for hours of complete satisfaction! The 4th book in the NYC Doms series has a little taboo, a little suspense and a whole lotta heat all packed into it’s hours of entertainment! Axel is working at Verge, a BDSM club, when his old flame walks in. Chandra is looking for first hand information for her upcoming book and is surprised to see Axel. Now at the club, stranded in a blizzard, these two are given a second chance at love. Once again, Henry weaves an incredible story. It’s filled with layers, which is something I love about her stories. As we get to know the Axel and Chandra, a little more is revealed, but never enough to know all the details! And their pasts hold secrets that when revealed may break them. Suspense enough to keep you guessing, passion enough to keep you panting, this story is one you will love. And a cameo from Tobias makes it even better if that is possible! Another great addition to this series!
Gunnar Qualen and Jenna St Claire have such a great chemistry to begin with that when narrating a couple, you can feel the attraction and draw immediately. Qualen has a wonderfully deep baritone and gives Axel that overprotectiveness. St Claire gives Chandra that edgy feel, not afraid of anything, yet an underlying vulnerability. I love their performance!

ChandraAxle! Awesome Story & Narration NYC Doms
Salvation
NYC Doms
By: Jane Henry Narrated by: Gunnar Qualen, Jenna St. Claire
Series: NYC Doms, Book 4
This book is a great addition to “NYC Doms” Series. Jane Henry continues to create interesting storylines that are captivating from start to end. Her characters are complex and well developed as well as realistic and relatable. This is Chandra and Axle’s story. Chandra, an author, goes to Verge, a BDSM club with her friend Marla. She wants to learn more about the lifestyle and explore her own needs. The last person she expects to see is a person from her past, a past she does not want to remember. Axle is no longer the person she knew likes to keep his women at arms length with no emotions or attachments. All that changes when he sees Chandra. I enjoyed how their story played out and how they begin to bond again, they were great together their chemistry was undeniable. I liked how Jane Henry plotted their story, tying their pasts to current day events. There is never a dull moment, there is plenty of drama, some suspense, some hot BDSM scenes, some great romance and a second chance for love. Thank you for another great story and an emotional rollercoaster ride!
I listened to the Audible edition. Gunnar Qualen and Jenna St. Claire are terrific narrators and voice performers. They brought these characters to life, gave each their own voice and personality, as well has heart and attitude. You can hear the emotions of the characters and the drama of the story in their performance. I loved Gunnar’s Axle, he was fierce, great job on the different accents too. Also loved Jenna’s Chandra, sweet yet strong. Thank you for another great and entertaining listen.
I love Verge and it’s here we find Noah/Axel. He’s a Dom trying to redeem himself from his past. When Shandra shows up from his past, things get crazy. The connection between these 2 has always been instant and it still holds true years later after they’ve broken up. Did I mention I love second chance romance! Shandra is looking to do some research for her books and Axel is just the man to show her. They have a past that each seem to be running from but when a blizzard strands them at the club, can they work things out before that past catches up with them? This story just drew me in from the first and kept me turning the pages as I had to find out what was going on and who was after them. I highly recommend this book and am eagerly looking forward to the next one!!
This book is remarkable. I am so in love with both Axle and Chandra. He is so Alpha and she is his perfect match. The journey they go on is top notch. The writing and flow of this book is perfect. I absolutely recommend this book.
I believe that this book is the best in the series so far. It’s all about second chances and that’s one of my favorite tropes. Axel is devastated when he has to leave Chandra and the Priesthood amongst scandal. Not knowing where he is going he drifts finally ending up in New York City at a club called Verge and it’s his salvation. Chandra on the other hand is inconsolable without Axel and leaves her controlling family behind. She finally lands in New York City also but a chance encounter brings them together. Chandra still needs Axel’s dominance, but will she give in? With all of the old hurt feelings and misunderstandings will they be able to carve a future relationship?
Salvation is the 4th installment in the NYC Doms series but it’s still going strong! Chandra goes to Verge with her friend for a little research (or so she tells herself) and runs into a man from her past. She knew him as Noah but now he goes by Axel. Axel is shocked to see Chandra again. He has never gotten over her or what they shared. It has haunted him and the snowstorm that traps them together seems like a curse and a blessing. Axel finally knows who he is and that’s a Dom. He has found peace at Verge if not happiness. I want to tell you more about their second chance story but that would be giving away secrets and I never do that! I will say that this is told from dual POV and is loaded with heat, angst and not for the faint of heart. If BDSM clubs and the inner workings of them do not interest you, then this isn’t the book for you. If this is your jam, enjoy!
This is a great series. I loved Chandra and Zack’s story. It was exciting to see the two of them find each other and then to read about their journey. Their backstory was creative and unique. A truly enjoyable read that you won’t want to put down.
A shared past, one suffers a crisis of faith and a fall from grace, the other refuses to follow family and cultural traditions. Their common ground of lust and love is their eventual undoing. Forced apart by religious, family and social condemnation they go their seperate ways and both lose more than they gain.
Years later fate brings them together again, older, wiser, grown into their own, the love is still there. But danger lurks and trust and commitment is tested. Will it break or make this couple, is there a future for them?
I loved this heartfelt at times tragic and uplifting emotional story. Lovely written characters and a story that will make you believe in the power of fate and love!
When Chandra tags along to Verge, a BDSM club, with her new boss/friend, she never thought she would end the night with her old love, Noah, now known as Axle. Seven years ago, they fell in love, but Axle was a priest and that was forbidden. Now the two have found each other again and have a chance at that happiness they had once glimpsed. But is it too late for them, has it been too long?
So for me this was just an OK read. I love some BDSM stories and this was a bit of a let down. I loved the whole priest taboo but we didn’t even see that but in a few flashbacks. As far as the BDSM went it was just ok. This just fell flat for me, even the drama with the Russians was a bit forced IMO. I give this 3.5 stars.
I received an ARC copy of this book and I chose to review it. This is the fourth book in this series and I have become a fan of Jane Henry because of this series. Yes, this is a BDSM story so if that isn’t something you like to read this book isn’t for you. It is an awesome story and it is worth your time and effort. I encourage everyone who likes BDSM stories to get this one!
