WillowI’ve always felt incomplete. It could simply be those two years I lost after my fall, but I’m certain it’s more than that. I always feel as if I’m missing something important. And the niggling feeling won’t go away no matter what I do. In fact, the older I get, the worse it becomes. My friends think I should get over myself. Go to a bar and sleep with a hot stranger. But I can’t. My soul … I can’t. My soul won’t let me. Even when I’m so drunk the whole room is spinning I can’t go home with a hot stranger, because a little voice in my head whispers, Wait Willow. Wait.
So I waited…And one day the mysterious Caleb Wolff breezes into my life. He is tall and broad, with steely blue eyes, and full sensual lips. He captivates me, and awakens all the desires I’d put on hold. It’s the strangest thing, but everything about him, his smell, his taste seems almost… familiar to me. The little voice in my head stops telling me to wait.
When I am with him I no longer feel as if I’m missing something, but then I look into his veiled eyes and I know he is hiding something. A secret. Something terrible. I just want the truth. Whatever it may be.
But do I dare dig deeper and risk destroying this beautiful thing of ours?

Great storyline,emotional rollercoaster.
It’s a gripping story that will hold you for a long time. It touch so many subjects, emotional and physical abuse, memory loss, tenderness and first love.
Willow and Caleb’s connection was strong. They were good for each other, completed one another and in the end healed each other.
Happy ending? For sure, but take a lot twists and turns to get there.

This second chance story features Willow, who suffers amnesia, and Caleb, her teenaged partner in crime. The story starts with their tragic adolescent situation. I’m a sucker for a teen second chance story; I was in love with these two before the story even really began. To be fair, Caleb at 15 and Willow at 12 we’re good friends but not dating. Fast forward twelve years to the present, and we see the care with which Caleb carefully but determinedly re-enters Willow’s life. Willow recognises Caleb on a deeper level-she’s immediately drawn to him. Caleb’s past doesn’t stay buried for long, though, so there’s some action here too. Caleb is a strong, possessive guy doing his best to protect Willow, and this requires some violence & cunning. All the feels in this one.

I really enjoy reading this author’s books. This was a great read. A terrific love story I couldn’t put down. Caleb actually goes to prison to protect the secrets of the girl he loves. Caleb, has a sweet side that makes you root for him. He’s a protective, alpha male. He has loved Willow forever and will go to any length to protect her. They are soulmates. He is the man that Willow has been waiting for her entire life even though her mind doesn’t remember. Loved this story.

It’s a deliciously dark story about young love and heartbreak. It will have you rooting for the dark Knight to open this young woman’s eyes to darkness of her forgotten past just so she may shed some light in his lonely forlorn world. These two are destined to be together and neither time nor amnesia can erase the love that they share

I don’t think there has been a single Georgia le Carre book I”ve read that I haven’t loved. She has a great way of drawing the reader into the book and not letting you go till you’re done. She’s certainly done it again with Saint & Sinner. Caleb and Willow met and bonded their friendship as children with common abuse by the hands of the people who should have been protecting them. when they are older, Caleb saves Willow from a fire, but she is hurt during her escape and losses her memory and unfortunately Caleb is blamed and sent to jail. But the entire time he longs for Willow. He finds her after his release and though she doesn’t remember everything, she feels a comfortable connection to Caleb. The story has twists, turns, pulls from outside forces, and steam, a lot of steam. This is one of my favorite Georgia le Carre books.
I received a copy from Bad Boy Update and this is my honest review.
