While the twentieth century was a a time of turbulence, selfishness, godlessness, and violence, Mother Teresa of Calcutta was a witness to love. She was a clear reminder of the goodness within human nature and the beauty of being truly open to God.‘Mother’ was her religious title, but as she ascended to the world stage, it became her role for the world—to be like a mother to all, no matter their … matter their origins. She was accepting and welcoming towards all people, not only towards the good or the like-minded. She continues to serve as an inspiration to people of all walks of life and all creeds. Where the world was blind to poverty and misery, Mother Teresa led the path to love.

I had difficulty putting the book down, a very compelling book.
I really enjoyed the story of Mother Teresa. This book enlightened me on aspects of her life I did not know existed.
This book was interesting. I learned some thing that I haven’t heard before. It was easy reading but left you wanting more details about Mother Teresa’s life.
What a great woman! Her faith was unbelievable and truly cared for the poor and suffering.
Love Mother Teresa!
It was informative to read what she did in her life committed to god.
Very good book
I enjoyed the book but felt it could have gone deeper into Mother Teresa’s life and thoughts. It gave insight into her reasons, personality, and drive. It was inspirational but daunting.
Very informative book. I was not wowed by it, but it was good.
This was very informative to a non Catholic and gave some substance to a well known and revered figure. Inspirational, after reading this you will have hope in your heart.
We have all heard so much about Mother Teresa, it was wonderful to read her life story! Never have I heard of a more humble server of God!
It is a must read for anyone who likes Mother Teresa.
Great history of a great woman.
I had no idea how far-reaching Mother Teresa’s work was and is. She has shown me what one person can do when committed to making a difference. She had her own suffering to deal with and yet carried on. I am inspired.
Inspirational
She was a fantastic woman of God.
As a former dyed-in-the-wool Catholic, I was indoctrinated in who Mother Teresa was and what she did. But this book went beyond the usual saintliness of Mother Teresa , including her later-life despair at not feeling that she really “ knew” Christ despite all her lifelong adherence to her vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience in the service to God and to other people. It matters not to me whether the Church recognized her as a saint by miracles documented in her name. I am more convinced than ever that this woman truly is a saint based on what she did for others and by extension what she ultimately did for God.
Great book
Mother Teresa beautiful lady, courageous & had saved lives at the risk of her own. Is a well written book & may read again sometime.
