Sofia – I didn’t know what to expect when a man loaded me and my sisters on his jet and brought us to the United States. I’d thought we’d suffer at the hands of these men, much the same as what we’d left behind. Some of us have physical wounds, but those will heal over time. It’s the emotional scars I worry we’ll never recover from. I’m going somewhere different from my sisters, alone in a new … country with strange men. The man called Saint has been ordered to take me, and I admit I’m terrified. Though he’s as beautiful as an angel, there’s a hardness in his eyes that scares me — until I see him with his daughter. How can a man so gentle and kind with a child be bad? If only he’d turn some of that kindness my way… But I know he’s right to keep his distance. I’m no good for either of them. It doesn’t stop me from craving his touch, from needing his kisses like I need air. I can’t regret our one night together, no matter the consequences.
Saint — I’ve always followed orders without question, but this time I’m not so eager to help the club. Keeping Sofia under my roof, down the hall from my daughter, is the last thing I want. If the monsters from her past hurt Sofia or my sweet Delia, there will be hell to pay. No matter how much I need to harden my heart against the sexiest woman I’ve ever met, I can’t. I want her, more than I’ve ever wanted anyone. I’m far from celibate, but Sofia is more than a quick fuck. She’s the kind of woman you keep. I allow myself one night, one taste, one chance to hear her scream my name. After, I put the walls back up and lock her out of my heart. It was a mistake, the biggest I’ve ever made. I need her, want her, can’t live without her. But I did such a good job pushing her away, how will I ever win her back?

I love these books
This series just gets better!
Saint is a true protector
Sophia has been through so much in her short life
I love how she grows from the scared girl she was in beginning to the woman she turns into. It takes a lot to get through to Saint, who’s character had me wanting to brain him but I enjoyed it a lot!!!
I love that we got to see more of her sisters.
I can’t wait for the next book!!!
I LOVED IT!!
Saint isn’t always so Saintly. When Sofia shows up Saint isn’t a happy camper and Sofia is scared to death. Sofia and her sisters Luciana and Violeta were raised by Satan himself. Actually their father put Satan to shame. The things that these women have lived through is sickening. I cried at the thought of it. So when they arrive in the US they all think it’s to be whores to the bikers and they’re all terrified. Not that I blame them after what they’ve survived. This book was heartbreaking! Saint’s only concern was for his adorable daughter Delia. She wants a mommy and she loves Sofia but Saint keeps making it perfectly clear he won’t marry her. One night Sofia shows up in Saint’s bedroom expecting to perform her duties but Saint shuts that down and explains to her why she’s there. Sofia and her sisters have never felt love or a gentle touch before. So when Saint offers to show her what sex is supposed to feel like she says yes and they set the sheets on fire. Saint has feelings for her but he locks that sh*t down immediately. At times I was heartbroken for Sofia and when her sisters visit I was crying for Luciana. Then when Sofia gets the surprise of her life. I can’t blame Saint for being so protective of Delia but where Sofia is concerned he is stone cold on the outside but inside he wants her in his life but not at the expense of his daughter so he’s battling. These two are so meant to be together. At times I had to chuckle at Sofia’s little smartass comments. She needs him to show her the love and life she’s never known and he needs her to show him what a real family is supposed to be and love. The ending was perfect. I couldn’t have asked for more. I can’t wait to see what happens next for them. I highly recommend this series to everyone! Now it’s Wire’s turn.
I was so excited for the next book it felt like an eternity even thou it hasnt been long since Spider came out but I needed to know about Saint and Sophia and it did not disappoint! The beginning takes place during the events in Spider but you dont need to have read it to throughly enjoy this book or know what’s happening (but I do recommend you read Spider because well it was really good.)
Ive been wanting Saints story since back when he was Johnny the prospect. It was interesting to watch this overprotective father fight himself over what he wanted and what he felt was best for his daughter. Sophia is such a gentle beautiful woman with a horribly tragic past it was amazing to see her transformation from scared to sassy. Overall a very great read and while I’m very excited to read about Rocket and Violet in the next book I’m hoping we get a book about Wire really soon!
I love this book. I was so glad that Saint had his book. When Saint first met Sofia he really wanted nothing to do with her. He had his little girl he had to think about but he wanted Sofia. Such an amazing read. Totally recommend this book. Saint has be in past books in the series. I love how this club cares for one another
What can I say about this book without spoiling it for others? Amazing? Yes! Gut Wrenching? Absolutely! These two manage to make it work. They learn how to let go and open their hearts to a new journey. They both deserves that happy ending, miss Harley Wylde you keep surprising me more and more, well done!
An exceptionally moving, and endearing ride to go on with Saint and Sofia. Couldn’t help but to fall in love with them. They are both stubborn, protective, and they both have a beautifully tender heart. This was a wonderful addition to this series. I can’t get enough from this author, and I cannot wait to read what comes next.
Saint is a character that we have been waiting to get his story from early in the series. His sister married Preacher but he was a prospect for the club before that. Now he is a single dad and tasked by his President to watch over what he thinks is a spoiled South American princess. She is to stay in his house but he doesn’t want her there or have her be a bad influence on his daughter. What he gets is a scared but resigned, horribly abused woman named Sofia. He is attracted to her but doesn’t want to be. The way they start is rocky and for all of Saint’s good qualities, he messes up pretty spectacularly. Sofia’s past is horrific but Harley Wylde handles it so well. We are given the knowledge of what happened without having to relive it and I really appreciated that. I absolutely love this series, we get all the best of the MC world and no cheating, etc. Each couple is unique and so well written that I can barely put them down to eat, much less anything else. Can’t wait for more Dixie Reapers!
